We have a maintenance control with them. We pay a yearly amount and they come as often as we need them. The price is reasonable but we have not compared it. We like everything about them. They come when they say they will come and they do what they are supposed to do. If we need follow up, we call and they come back. We haven't had any problems at all.

They were supposed to do a report, and I never received one. They never filled out the report.

A wonderful experience. Great phone conversation with Donna. I described my needs and she scheduled me right away (within a week). Tech was late but I received a phone call from the company letting me know he was running about 30 minutes behind - arrival was within that 30 minutes. Kyle did a wonderful job explaining the contract we were about to sign. He talked about services that were and were not covered and gave examples for clarification. Kyle was very friendly and informative and did a great job.

They did a very good job in treating my termite problem. They did a follow up at no charge to make sure that the termites had not returned. I felt that it was a good, old-fashioned service company.

They were great. They were very responsive, the price was reasonable, the squirrel is gone, and they were very professional.

Called Ward and they were able to squeeze me in the same day. Diagnosed mice in our attic and they set several traps in the attic, which popped in the middle of the night (success!). They then called back a few days later to arrange a follow-up visit. Very prompt, cost was reasonable, and they know what they are doing!

Kyle and Brian did an excellent job of closing off points of entry and installing a one way door to insure no squirrels were trapped inside. A few days later after no squirrel activity, Kyle removed the door and closed the last hole. Kyle and Brian devised a clever way to cover the holes that is unobtrusive and difficult to see unless you know where to look. My wife and I are very pleased and the squirrels are disappointed.

They are knowledgable and very helpful. They send the same service person back every month, so the service is very consistency.

The service rep is great. They worked with us on a credit card issue, they are polite. I never need to call to remind them of appointments. Evey thing about service is really good.

I like them and have a regular monthly contract with them. They have a no pest guarantee but will use them again in the future if necessary.

Our service person, Shahid, is very good. I give him an "A" for attentiveness, customer service, and effort. He truly wants to please the customer by doing whatever you need done. However, I give the office staff an "F", hence the overall score of "C". The scheduling is done by a computer, so you need to be home when it tells you to be home. If you work, and it assigns you a 10am-12pm appointment, tough. Thats their system. You can try and change the appointment, but you will wait an additional 1-2 weeks, and you probably wont get your regular service person. In addition, the office staff is only semi-competent, and the manager, Brandon, is downright unpleasant to work with. I am seriously considering switching pest control companies, and I suggest that others find a company that cares more about serving the customer's needs than their own.

They actually did not charge me anything. They are extraordinarily honest and fair. They are very practical when it comes to what they do. They were so honest that they even told me it was not worth it for me to have a yearly contract with them. They told me that if I had a problem I should call them. They saw no reason for me to spend my money. They are very good. I would rate them highly overall.

They do a great job. They are always on time, and are very reliable. I like that they are environmentally conscious, and they do not over spray.

They were fabulous. They had a package they sold you for a very reasonable price per year. They would come out four times a year and treat your house. If anything crops up in-between treatments, they come out immediately and it's free. I actually had to call them back out because we were swamped by odorous house ants. They had never heard of them and I have never really had an ant problem but because of the weather we have been having, our entire region got swamped with people getting entrusted with these ants. They had to come out twice because I insisted on an animal friendly based poison. I have two dogs and a rabbit. Rabbits are very sensitive so if they inhale something, they are almost like the canary in a coal mine, they are the first to die if it is something poisonous. I told them it had to be very animal safe. They made good on it. They came up with just what I needed. I had to call them out one more time after their initial treatment. They did a great job and did the job well. Within 24 hours of the second visit, the whole problem was dealt with. I got them off Angie's List. They had a very high rating and they had really good feedback. I had just been in a massive car accident so I was on crutches. They were so nice to me. They were so helpful and accommodating. They were holding doors for me. I was in a nightgown and in a state where normally I wouldn't have people in, but because I had massive leg injury basically the only way I could be dressed was in a nightgown. They made me feel at ease. They were really really professional about it. I didn't feel awkward. I went and bought the entire package for the entire year and I think it was around $120.00. They gave me options for payments but it was something I could just go ahead and pay over the phone when I set up the appointment so I went ahead and paid over the phone. They came out and they explained everything that they were going to use. They showed me what a good trap actually looked like so that I would be familiar with it. I have a Jack Russell. I wanted to make sure if I saw something in her mouth, I would recognize it as a trap or not a trap. My other dog gets into nothing. He wants to sleep all day and all night. My Jack Russell is a puppy and she gets into everything. When we got her the week before Thanksgiving, not this one but the one before, we found her on the kitchen table eating out of one of the bowls. We were concerned about her getting the bait and eating it. The guy explained that even if she found and licked up every single drop of the gel bait that they put down inside the house, it wouldn't even make her sick enough to vomit. It was comforting to know that if she just took a liking to the scent or something, she would just not be harmed at all. She wouldn't be retching at all or vomiting or bleeding internally. They explained that the way they worked is that they simply had a generic kind of a cardboard little box with holes and inside the holes they put this thick clear gel. There is something in there that really draws ants however they figured that one out. The ants would pick up the poison with them. There were a lot of dead ants right around the trap. They didn't even make it home. In theory they would take it home with them and feed it to the queen and feed it to the workers and everybody would take it home to the nest and then the entire nest would die. We were having these massive rainstorms at the time so they actually went out and found the original nest which was actually not what you would think of as a nest. It was actually a pile of dried dead leaves. They took shelter under all the dead leaves. The guys stirred that all up and there were just millions of them. It was from like a bug horror movie. They sprayed that with something more aggressive because nobody goes in that part of the yard, not the dogs, not the landscape people. They sprayed that with something more aggressive and then a week later it rained. What the bugs did, which shows that they are a lot smarter, is that they went over and found number one shelter under our eaves and number two they found the cord that comes up on the side of the house and into our bedroom that carries the cable TV and all the cable services. That was the point of entry. Literally I woke up one night itching. They were everywhere, all over the bed, all over us and all over the nightstands. I called American Pest the next day at the crack of them opening and I told them about the bugs everywhere. We couldn't get into the bathroom and the kitchen. They hustled somebody up that day and I showed them because I started watching everywhere that the ants were coming in. I was on crutches and I was moving really slow and I was in a nightgown. The guys were really really nice about everything. They set up bait traps everywhere that I showed them where I saw masses of ants. They treated the entire wire on the outside from where it came in the house. They got up on a ladder and they covered the hole where it came into the house totally with the glue and they covered the entire wire on all sides with this thick clear glue all the way down. They sprayed the nest again with a different chemical. Literally, within 24 hours everything disappeared. I have been a police officer for 12 years and I still am. I definitely felt totally comfortable having them in my house. There are some people that come in the house that I feel compelled to follow from room to room because I don't trust them because of their presentation at the door and their lack of professionalism. There is something that makes me wonder when they are looking around at my property and my home like they are casing it. The people from American Pest were genuine. One of the guys from the pest control literally offered to go out and get me food. I was very hungry and my boyfriend wasn't there and at the time it hurt me to even be on my feet for two minutes. I was on crutches and he offered to bring me food. That was awesome. If I had said yes, he would have gone. I have a hundred percent faith that he would have gone up the street and got me food. I had a great experience with them and I would definitely recommend them to my 72-year-old mother.

Ben is extremely professional. He explained about stink bugs, camel crickets, wolf spiders and mice. Ben inspected inside AND outside the home. He blocked possible rodent entry points and set bait and traps. Overall a good first experience.

I have used their services twice in two years. They responded really quickly when we had an ant problem. They have a free 6-month follow up. I missed this window and they still honored it and completed the second application at no charge. I would use their services again in the future.

Overall, the service is good and everything has been working out well.

We liked their service. The technician that they sent out was very informative. He was very good at his job and very professional. The only problem that we had with the company was with bookkeeping. The left hand didn't seem to know what the right hand was doing. Other than that, they were fine.

Called them on to provide an estimate and conduct a treatment for roaches. They came on time and professionally inspected the rooms where we had seen roaches. Given the proximity of our house to another home, the conclusion was the there did not appear to be an infestation and that it may not be worth paying for a professional treatment. However, they still provided me with an estimate in case in case I wanted to treat anyway. After 2 weeks of home treatements, and still seeing increased numbers, I contacted them and scheduled a treament. They were late for the initial treatment, but once here the technician did a thorough job of treating the house, explaining how we would increased activity for the next few weeks, but then we shouldn't have any more issues. But if we did, to call back for another treatment (a short warranty was included). We saw a drastic difference and no roaches for weeks. However, within a month, we noticed a few more and called for a second treatment. On 11/15, two technicians came to treat the house again and they did another very thorough job and have not had any issues since. Overall, very professional, responsive, and well priced. Would definitely use them again in the future.

We renovated and moved into a new home within the district, and the rats came within the first week. I have never been so horrified--it's a beautiful home, and they literally ate through the steps to get to food. And I have a baby! I needed these horrible things GONE. We called 3 companies for estimates, and it was obvious from the first meeting that American Pest was the most knowledgeable, full-serviced, and professional of the companies we talked to. We ended up buying the full maintenance package: 3 scheduled visits within the first month and a visit the next month to deal with the immediate problem, then every other month following, with treatment for ALL pests (not just rodents). Best of all, they will come ANY TIME YOU CALL if you're on the maintenance package--for a while, I had them at the house about every 3 days. Our technician Chris took almost 3 hours that first day to walk through the house and yard and set up his full system for rat removal. Because of our baby and small dogs, we couldn't use the "easy" poison--and he worked out other solutions with boxes, traps, and hidden bait. He gave me back my house! I will use them for years and recommend them to all of my friends. No one in this city knows more about rodent control.

I contacted several pest control services for a termite problem. Each of them has different ideas as to how to treat the problem. Drew from American Pest was the only one to identifty the underlying problem and to suggest how to treat it. The company did a great job in stopping the infestation and providing me with a contractor to do structural work to prevent further infestiations. I thought that the price was very reasonable compared to the other companies' estimates. Also, the other companies did not even recognize the underlying problem that caused the infestation.

Mr. Ward showed up on time and on short notice (within a couple days of the phone call). I scheduled the inspection for the same day as my home inspector was in the home, so Mr. Ward was on his own while I was with the home inspector. He checked the entire home from top to bottom and identified one area where termites had previously infested (but inactive). He showed me the area, identified the telltale signs of previous treatment, and let me know whether it was something to be concerned about. He provided the inspection report immediately, which I forwarded on to the seller. Because the seller had previously agreed to repair any damage found, Mr. Ward paid for himself when the seller fixed the beam with the damage. Quick, easy, and very reasonably priced service (I was actually shocked at how cheap the rate was). Mr. Ward was personable and knowledgeable.

These guys are the most honest and helpful in any home service industry. I called to talk to a specialist about fleas. Our dog has tapeworms, which are only spread via dead fleas. The dog has had regular flea treatment; the vet and the groomer have not detected any fleas; and I have not seen fleas or been bitten by them in my house. The specialist said that fleas have been really bad this season and his dog has had tapeworms, too. He said that it is unlikely that our home has fleas if the dog doesn't have them; the groomer didn't detect them; and if I haven't seen them. I explained that I take my dog to a dog park every day and he said that is the likely cause of the tapeworms -- my dog who loves to wrestle probably ate an infected flea from another dog. THANK YOU for being helpful and HONEST. Any company could have easily come in and taken my money, but you guys are true professionals. I will always contact American Pest for any future needs.
