The techs they send out are very good at their but talking to the reception is a bit difficult when calling them

Not only were the technicians helpful and informative, but the office called me a few days later to recommend another option for the moths.

The staff member from Ward Pest Control arrived on time, explained the services provided in detail, thoroughly examined my home - interior and exterior - set traps and repaired a broken attic screen. All done at the agreed upon price. I would definitely recommend them!

When I heard noises in my attic a few months ago I contacted several pest companies but none of them came out but when I called Ward Pest and spoke to Donna who was very nice and explained some things to me, I was put on their schedule for the same week. Jerid showed up when expected and explained what he was doing every step of the way. I really appreciate his professionalism and I will be using Wards for all my pest control problems.

They did a thorough job of inspecting the home for pests. They asked which areas should receive special attention.

Heard noises in attic and through the house. Called Ward's and they were quick to send a tech out. Tech came on time at 0730 but was unprepared - no traps, hand held drill, or work gloves. I lent him my drill and gloves because otherwise he wouldn't be able to get the work done and it was freezing outside. He was very knowledgeable, dedicated and did a goo job sealing the points of entry and exit. But he didn't bring traps to set in the attic. I left for work after the job was finished and assumed the squirrel was not in the house, i hadn't heard any noises. The next day, Saturday, i heard noises in the house again. The squirrel was trapped inside the house and couldn't get out!! I called them back but they couldn't guarantee a tech to come out so i called another pest control company to come, set the traps, and finish the job. If only Ward's had brought and set the traps the first time... was suppose to be a 3 week follow-up too but have not heard back from them.

Overall, I was very pleased. The gentleman from American Pest was on time, polite and helpful. During the one year time period, I experienced a surge of ants in the kitchen. I called American Pest, and they promptly scheduled a time to come out and took care of the problem. They were great in sending me notifications of when they would be treating the property as well as notifying of anything they found. I would highly recommend using American Pest again and am planning on using them again.

The service was on time and as advertised. The house was treated to get rid of mice and ants and has remained free of them ever since.

The first visit they got rid of ant problems. The second visit (on 10/05/2012) they took care of crickets, we had almost no crickets in the house this year. They also placed traps in the garage for rodents.

They called back and said if the rodents are not gone by the end of the week to call them. The man was very professional and he covered the holes in the vents with a screen. However, he could not find anything. He left two traps. The price was reasonable and he made sure to be very careful.

American Pest was great about scheduling, kept me informed, and was good w/ follow up. Their techs were great. Most of all, summer pests were minimal this year!

Overall is just ok. I would still think about having them next year.

After initially using them through an Angie's List deal, I decided to maintain a service contract with them. However, there was some confusion in the payment schedule so I received multiple bills for more than I believed the service contract to be. They eventually worked out the miscommunication and applied the appropriate payments to my account but I did have to call back a couple of times before it was finally worked out. The service contract is for three service calls each year and I have found the techs to be very professional and helpful. They have answered my questions and I will likely continue to use them. Hopefully the billing won't be an issue the next time around. The price noted here was for the full year service.

He has taken care of all my issues, whether it be stink bugs or ants, inside and outside. It is a good service.

My first two appointments were troublesome. No one showing up, no call notification, etc. I complained to the office each time and filed a poor review on Angie's List. A week later i was contacted by Ward Pest Control to reschedule my service, i was hesitant but was told the previous service rep had been fired so i agreed to try again. Ward Pest Control came on time, apologized for the trouble, took extra care and followed up consistently. Once i was assigned to the right person everything went well, and that i why i am now filing an amended review. Yes i would hire them again.

I have used Ward Pest control for a number of years, primarily for annual ant inspection and prevention. This time their technician (Kyle Tkacik) visited to help me deal with mice inside my house. He did a thorough inspection inside and outside and located a number of potential/actual entry points for mice. He then blocked those entrances, preventing further use. He also set a nember of traps inside and outside my house in the spots most likely for mouse activity. Kyle has visited my house previously on annual ant inspections and treatments, and he continues to impress he as a smart, efficient and very professional young man. He has always provided outstanding service and I hope to see him again.

Representative very knowledgable on rodent entry points, and blocked all of those. Set traps in garage where I had the most entry problems. Volunteered to return to check traps if I had additional problems. Very attentitive service.

They were great -it went well

Had a noise in the attic and called Wards. The appointment was made for four days latter. The man arrived a little early before I got home. My son let him and he looked into the attic. Had to go to the store and buy batteries for his flashlight. He eventually came back and found a squirrel and where it was coming in. Since the hole was fairly big he wanted to repair it with a heavier gauge material than he had on him. Plus he didn't have cage to trap the squirrel. He came back the next day and saw the squirrel leave via the hole and patched the hole. He didn't leave a cage and now I think I've heard some noises in the attic (not as bad as previously). Just surprised that they weren't more prepared to deal with my problem when they came out. They did seem to get the job done. Will update if there are additional squirrels and how Wards responds.

They were great. Very courteous, professional, showed up on time, and they do great work.

Paid $149 for annual service. They were punctual & professional. On each of the two visits, they sprayed inside & outside of the house & inspected for termites (none found). Haven't had any bug issues. Have no reason not to continue using them.

Went as expected. I have one more treatment after the winter, and will likely be using this company regardless of whether or not they have an Angie's List Big Deal in the future.

They were terrific, really good. They were reasonable with great follow up. I would definitely use them again in the future.

Last week heard loud noises and bangs in attic. Had previously put mesh on all openings. Went into attic on Friday and saw large opening in mesh. Sealed and strengthened it. Friday and Saturday nights heard same noise and bangs, but more desparate. Apparently, I had trapped the raccoons inside and they wanted out. Sunday morning they escaped. I called Wards on Monday, talked to Donna, and she had Kyle come by my house in the afternoon. As seen above, he came and relieved my concerns. The cost was reasonable and I gladly paid it. I would recommend Ward's to Angie's List, friends, and relatives, but probably not enemies :-).

The company mails you a postcard with your quarterly servicing date and time, well in advance. Then they call to confirm or reschedule as suited to your needs. The technician arrives on time and performs the work. He explains everything you want to know, answers your questions fully. It is a class A operation and I would highly recommend them for all your pest control needs.
