The technician came when he said he would and performed a thorough inspection of our house, inside and out. The only way that rat could have entered was through a very well hidden opening which he covered securely with a metal mesh. We have had no problem since. So we are quite pleased with Ward and would recommend them.

I signed up for basic pest control service based on a deal from Angie's List. I was very pleased from the first phone call to the gentleman who came to the house to perform the actual services. I realized a few months later that I needed additional services. When I called the rep kindly offered me the same price break that I had initially gotten. I was very pleased! American Pest has a great email service for reminders and updates. They continue to perform services to date and I will continue to use them.

Service went well, noticed a decrease in spiders and other insects, but not stink bugs. The stink bugs seem to be another issue all together and American Pest offered a additional stink bug service which we did not purchase.

The ants are gone and all is well!

Person was professional, punctual and knowledgeable. He quickly worked the perimeter of our home and found several points of potential entry and sealed them. He also advised me on some issues with my dryer vent location and suggested a fix. I was pleased with their service.

The rep came out and we reviewed the exterior of the house for potential intrusion areas. He then proceeded to secure those he could and showed me where I needed a threshold and door sweeps. I also indicated that I might need some further services. He also followed up later with the information on the potential additional services I asked about.

i had noticed signs of a mice and wanted the problem resolved. I was a little disappointed I simply expected more, thought there was more to having an expert then merely putting down mouse traps. I could have put down the traps but wanted an expert to resolved the problem. Not one mouse was caught in the traps. When the technician returned I reminded him that he had indicated that he was going to put foam in the spots where he had previously put the steel wool. He didn't know what I was talking about but he clearly told me that he would put this foam down. On his return visit he saw that no mice were caught he simply said it takes time. Perhaps my expectations where unrealistic but my problem has not been resolved.

Excellent service. We use American Pest on a regular contract basis for rodent and pest control. They always send reminders before scheduled service dates and their staff are invariably pleasant and professional. Our interior jumping cricket problem is now under full control!

We purchased through the Big Deal in 2011 - they were very friendly. The first visit was the most extensive - they inspected, we had difficulty with camel crickets - they identified that the crickets were likely coming in through the fireplace. They sealed the area. The cricket infestation ended there. They visit several times a year - you do get a heads up with the option to reschedule. If no one is home, they do the external inspection and spray externally. They are responsive and when the 2011 deal ended did offer a discount to continue. We signed on for 2012 and will likely sign on again.

From the first call, my experiences with this company have been positive. The representatives at the company were very professional and friendly to talk to and they quickly scheduled my pest control treatment. We were periodically experiencing issues with a couple different species of ants and also spiders. The service technician arrived on time, and was very personable and very knowledgeable. He initially made some recommendations regarding shrubs and pruning to decrease insect harborage. He removed existing cob webs from the exterior eaves, windows, etc., and applied an insecticide spray around the exterior of the house. He then listened to our particular areas of concern regarding interior pests (i.e., the ants) and then used a spot trap treatment, a locally-applied gel, and a spray to treat the ants and other potential pest problems throughout the house. This was a triannual service and the company contacted me to schedule the second treatment. We will have one more application to complete this service and we have been very pleased with this company, their staff, and their results.

Overall, Ward's service is excellent

We called Ward because of an ant problem we have in our house and our yard. We had gotten rid of most of the ants in the house, but Joe came by and was extremely helpful. Because we had the problem under control in the house, he didn't recommend an abatement, and gave us some helpful tips about how to stem the problem outside. They were so helpful, we are putting them on contract.

The service technician was polite and professional. He asked a number of questions to determine the type of treatment that my home needed.

Went well as they said it would

Overall, I'm pleased with the service I received. They were very friendly and casual, but at times seemed a little too casual. It took 3 weeks to schedule the follow up appointment and then took another week and a half for the rescheduled appointment when their technician was unable to make the appointment. I would have expected to be bumped to the top of the priority list if the appointment was cancelled due to something on their part. Otherwise, since this was not an urgent matter, I was happy and would consider recommending them to others.

So far so good. They need to come back to set some traps but situation has already improved.
