This is a very good company to deal with--great service both from the techs who came out to spray the house and from the billing and scheduling personnel in the office. I've had a service contract with them for about two years. The cost listed above is the prorated amount for a single visit. My contract included three visits a year to spray the indoors and outdoors of the house, including the foundation and crawl space. Indoors, they spray a chemical on the baseboards from a pump sprayer and leave you a receipt specifying the name and concentration of the chemical. All of the techs have been nice guys and are considerate (wearing shoe covers inside etc.). The treatment completely solved a problem we had been having with crickets and roly polys in the basement. The company also has a mosquito service for the yard where they come every three weeks that seems to be pretty effective.

Technician Tim Kelly patiently answered all of our questions about the company's insect treatment plan. He suggested various preventive measures we could take to avoid any infestations. We switched to American Pest following disappointing service from a nationally known chain. We appreciate American Pest's service options and a pledge to return for free service calls if any problems reappear. We were also pleased with the technician's sensitivity to our environmental concerns about insecticide applications in and out of our home.

The experience went very well. I had concerns of whether we had a termite problem, and then the person who came out that we did not have a problem, and it was due to water damage. He was very positive about it, and he was very knowledgeable. We used them because of the reviews we had seen on Angie's List.

I was very pleased with the quick response and excellent service. I called the company at noon and they said they would arrive between 2-4:00. After hearing my problem they gave me an estimate of the price. The technician arrived within the time frame. He protected the kitchen floor with a carpet and was even careful not to let any water spill under the cabinet. He cleared the clogged trap and then ran a pipe router to be sure there was no clog down the line. The technician was professional and pleasant. I was impressed with this company and will use them again.

These guys were great! Mohammed and Justin came to my house right at 8AM and worked very efficiently to fill my backyard mouse entry points. They checked around the house for other possible entry points and offered helpful tips. I would most definitely hire them again!

I found Ward Pest Control Co. on Angie's List. I chose them because they were one of the only companies that listed rodent control as one of their primary functions. This company was a delight to work with from start to finish. When I called the office and expressed my anxiety about the possibility of a mouse or mice in the house, they were very understanding and actually scheduled a visit for the next morning at 7AM. Their technician, Sofiane, knew his job very well. I showed him the evidence I had, and he confirmed that it was a mouse/mice. He thoroughly checked the house for points of entry, but he/we found none. We concluded that probably someone left the door open, and the critter(s) came in. He laid 3 traps in our study (where the evidence was) with peanut butter and left the house. I closed off the room so our cat would not go near the traps. Within a couple of hours, the mouse had been caught. As I felt uneasy disposing of the trap/dead mouse, I called the company. The next day, Sofiane returned, removed the dead mouse and trap, and told me to leave the other traps for several days in case there were more. There were no more thank goodness. I actually had to call the company a few days later because I realize I had not paid them. They accepted VISA over the phone and gave me an Angie's List discount. I had been told that they provided a 2 months warranty on their work, but I had forgotten this until the company called two months later to say they would come to the house to inspect at no additional cost. I told the caller that we were fine and did not need anyone to come to the house. This is a highly professional, knowledgeable, responsive and competent company. I strongly recommend them to others.

Triple S is unfailingly reliable, punctual and effective. The staff who come to the house are professional and courteous. Most important -- no pests. On the rare occasion ants turn up inside the house, they come, treat, and the problem is solved and does not reoccur.

We purchased a house that had some signs of a prior termite infestation. Ward did the termite inspection prior to our purchase and did not find any active infestation but recommended us to treat the house. After closing we called them up and set up an appointment for them to come out and treat the house. We were pretty flexible on timing so they came out about 10 days later. They did the work within a day and without requiring us to be there - we just left them a key. They trenched and treated the exterior, and drilled a ton of holes in our concrete basement in order to treat. They did such a great job cleaning up you almost couldn't even tell that they had come at all. In fact, our basement was cleaner after they did their work! Would highly recommend them for termite treatment and would definitely hire again.

American Pest provided outstanding service! Had a problem with flies on one side of our house and under our porch. American Pest responded to me within an hour of my request, spent time with me to understand the problem and then were able to set up a convenient time for a technician to come out. The technician, Brandon, went right to work on identifying the issue and coming up with a solution. It was fantastic being able to work with a provider with deep knowledge and who was exceptionally responsive. Everything was handled in a cost effective manner. I highly recommend American Pest.

Jamie, was absolutely knowledgeable and polite. He spent an hour taking care of everything and he applied several preventive treatments. He gave me detailed information regarding everything that was being done and I really enjoyed how relaxed and professional he was. No drama and no exaggeration to try to sell you services you don't need at the moment. I will call them again in a heart beat if anything comes up. A++

They certainly sound like they know what they are talking about, and their first priority is to help you address your concern, not to sell you on their services. I am so grateful to them, and will definitely call them in future and happily pay them for their services, if they advise that's what I need.

Mohamed was very thorough in closing all the holes in my attic, outside gutters, and even the small openings around my outside hose bib and where the heat pump is connected to the house. Mohamed was very professional and competent and since he made the repairs, I have had no problems whatsoever. Sabrina is the one I spoke with initially and she is the one who sold me on Ward Pest Control in the first place as there were many options to choose from. She is professional, efficient, and patient and once she told me everything that would be done by Ward Pest Control, I knew I was in good hands. After Mohamed completed his work, I could see why Ward was the best choice I could have made.

I was very happy with American Pest. Even when they couldnt get me to answer the door (I was in the basement and didnt hear them at the door) They went right to work. I could hear the drilling of the holes into the soil for termite feeding station installation. I came up and met the busy man they sent to install the feeding stations. He then explained what the feeding stations are and how they work. He then resumed his installing of the green subterainian stations around the parimater of the house. He did not ask me for any money. Later I was asked to pay for the service after I had received everything I needed.

They were extremely friendly, responsive and quick to schedule appointments. The service people that came to the house were great, engaging and professional. No problems with the appointments. I would definitely use them again.

American Pest is reliable and very customer oriented, I have been using this company for 6 years and have never been disappointed.

Sent instructions for how to prepare the house ahead of time. Was readily available to answer any and all questions prior to performing the service. Used heaters and fans to elevate temperature in each room to kill bugs and eggs. We had previously tried chemical spraying by professionals, but the bugs always returned after a month or so. I highly recommend this company and this treatment if anyone is plagued with these disgusting creatures.

At the time, we lived in a lovely condo that for some reason was besieged by ants in one corner of the family room. It turns out that these ants are a fairly common problem during a particular season. American Pest came out twice during a thirty day period to deal with the ants. The best part? They dealt with them in as kid-friendly a way as possible. They did not try to up-sell us on any product, and were extremely knowledgeable.

I can't say enough good things about American Pest! I had found termites in my laundry room, along the basement after removing the shoe molding in prep for some renovations. Because I was a Terminix customer, I naturally called them to come the following morning. After getting an astronomical quote for $1,900 from the Terminix person, I wanted another quote. American Pest had great reviews here on Angie's List. I called them up and they were able to get Jamie out to me for a second quote within just 2 hours of my call!!! Jamie went above and beyond to find the termites and answered all my questions. He was amazing. I went with the $599 plan, which included having to sign up for American Pest general pest service, which I gladly did. I canceled my Terminix account that same afternoon. Thank you, American Pest, for the great customer service and great pricing!

Went great -- I will use Ward Pest Control again. I get a termite inspection periodically to make sure I have no infestations. The technician found some previous termite evidence on a crawlspace door. I will be replacing the door and having Ward do a spot treatment of that area. Very friendly and helpful office staff as well as very knowledgeable service technician. UPDATE TO THIS REVIEW -- I have to update this review because my dealings with Ward Pest Control have really gone downhill. I wanted to get an ant treatment for my home and it took so many phone calls to get this done -- no one was ever available to make my apt when I called and no one would ever call me back. Finally I got the work completed but nothing should be so difficult. I have no problem with the technicians -- they are awesome -- but the office staff is completely inefficient and disorganized.

When the exterminator came he replaced our dryer vent, filled in holes in the house and set just a few traps. I was skeptical until we caught 6 mice in the first week the traps were set. The came for a free follow up visit and caught a few more with reset trap. Only one mouse since in a few months that we caught and no sign of them getting into our food.

I have ward for my routine pest-control thought I was having an ant call me identify a termite problem that was actually causing my annt problem. So quickly they set up an appointment to treat for termites and haven't had any ants, and they took care of problem I didn't even know about! Was effective and reasonably priced.

On May 5, 2014 I noticed what appeared to be termite damage on a wooden panel between two rooms in my house. Based on Angie's List ratings I called Ward Pest Control, and they sent a representative that same day to look at the damage and to look for other possible affected areas. He confirmed that it was a termite problem, and explained possible options. I elected to go for a whole house treatment. Ward then sent me a written estimate, detailing the work that would be done, and on my acceptance they performed the work on May 17, 2014. The two technicians who did the work appeared knowledgeable and well experienced. I of course will not know for a while how effective the treatment will be, but I was left feeling confident that the work was done well.

The technician arrived on time, took care to be mindful of being neat in my home, assessed the situation, explained what he needed to do and proceeded to treat the affected areas, as well as placing barriers outside in the front and the back of the house. He then gave me instructions to call if things hadn't cleared up in a week. He was very courteous and pleasant and took time to make sure that I understood waht he was saying.

Called them because we had a raccoon in attic and it had babies. They said they would come out in a few days. When they did, the service person said they would have to drive the mother out by using a spray but he did not bring it. It took two more days to come back and do it. I had to pay for the treatment right then. he then said he would come back in 2 days to retrieve the babies. Two days later, on Saturday, I got a call saying he broke down on highway and could not make it. I called back on Monday after no one called back and was told he was busy and I would have to reschedule. I called another another company that came out that same day and completed the job and for a lot less money and did more complete of a job. Wards called almost a week later and wanted to come over as if nothing happened. Never count on them.
