Sometimes it would work ok and sometimes it didn’t. They needed to come back and check on the traps and we needed to call them to do this. I wish they would have come out on their own to check on them more frequently. Also, one of the technicians was difficult to communicate with.

It was okay. There had been some issues on appointments, someone called me up to sort it out in the end. I have a contract with them. Its $165 a quarter. Their pricing is not actually the best. I always take the same guy now and so the one guy who's actually referred to in your review section, he's excellent. They do show up on time. There is a feedback mechanism from their workers to their management and management follows up.

The first time they were supposed to come they called and cancelled because their employee did not show up for work. When he came back to work he came to do the service and threw my bed linens on the floor. He examined the mattress and said that I didn't have bed bugs but did not examine the sheets which is where I am seeing the insects. I provided them with a sample of the bugs but they said they weren't bed bugs and they didn't know what they were. They would not treat for them until an entomologist looked at the sample which would take up to 6 days.

They've been good. So far, so good. No little pests outsides or inside. They're punctual. They do the job and I haven't had any issues. They do what they said they were going to do. They seem pretty diligent in terms of the treatment and everything.

The company was very professional from the start. they arrived promptly and were very helpful during the initial assessment, asking questions and being very informative. That first visit also included a thorough examination of all points where insects or rodents could crawl into the house, plugging up holes that they found. I was keen to select a company that used "green" products, particularly ones that did not harm animals, birds or landscape. Our house is on a creek and situated so there is rain run-off from our property into the creek, so the landscape-friendly treatments are an absolute must. The price they quoted was fair and affordable. They have been prompt in providing the subscription service, giving us a courtesy call a few days before they come so we are prepared if necessary. The results of the treatment have been very good, drastically cutting down on home invading critters.

With numerous neighbors, we banded together to have multiple yards sprayed for mosquitoes this summer. The price was quite reasonable for an every-three-week spray, and for the first time in years I was able to enjoy the back yard without being swarmed. They phoned a day or two ahead of a spray to make sure that the gate would be unlocked so they could access the yard. I work at home, and know they never missed a scheduled appointment. Very satisfied with Ward's service, and will use them again next summer. I also used Ward for a mouse problem several years ago, and had a similar experience. They came out once to inspect and set some traps and advised how they were probably getting into the house. I sealed the access points, and Ward came out a week or two later and emptied the traps (caught three). No mouse problems since.

It only took two days to arrange a service call On the scheduled day, Lemuel arrived early. I can't remember a time a service person came early. I explained the problem and gave him an inside house tour. He found a suspected critter entry point. He also inspected the house outside and found another suspected critter entry point. He sealed the potential entry points and left a trap at the most likely entry spot. I haven't had a problem since. Very professional and efficient.

I am going to reevaluate in the spring. Their estimate was timely and reasonable. Their communication was excellent.

I had a terrific experience with them. I got a referral from a neighbor. They were remarkably attentive. They worked with me to solve the problem. I would recommend them because of the staff. They stayed after until we got a text. We had no issues with them. The price was excellent.

The technician did not attempt to fill any holes or do anything to ameliorate the situation. His assessment was that mice were entering the house via a dryer vent and that we should check periodically to make sure it was closed. He put a few traps down and left.

I scheduled an appointment with this provider on 10/6/2014. My appointment was scheduled for 7am on 10/16/2014. At no point after my initial contact did the company call to confirm my appointment. They, of course, had my phone number on file. Fast forward to this morning... The time of my appointment, 7am, comes and goes. I begin to doubt whether I had scheduled an appointment today or not. Look up the company's phone number and call to confirm. There was no answer and the voicemail said they were not open yet. I left a message. Finally, at 8am, the exterminator rolls around. I tell him that he was supposed to have arrived an hour ago and a courtesy phone call would have been nice. He responds "do you know what traffic from Woodbridge is like?" I suggested he have that conversation with his scheduler. He turned around and left. I didn't even get his name. Bottom line, I would never do business with this company. No confirmation whatsoever (side note: I have a non-Angie's list handyman here right now who called me yesterday to confirm, and this morning to tell me he was running late) and was EXTREMELY unprofessional.

Mohammed came and he was excellent. Clearly knew his stuff, and spent a good deal of time examine my roof to determine how they were getting in. He found the spots told me I needed a roofer and what to tell them. All in all an excellent interaction and would go to this company again

The service technician was punctual, courteous, and very thorough. He took the time to explain each step in the process to treat our home. And, the services have resulted in a reduction/near elimination of pests in and around our home.

Mohammed showed up on time--actually, about 10 minutes early (always a good thing in my book). I'd requested him specifically because he was the man who had done the initial and very thorough inspection last week (I'd suspected mice in the house, and he sure found them). Super friendly without being over-talkative, a consummate professional, he set to work and performed all of the things he had listed in the first (written) estimate: covering gaps in outside grates, sealing holes and gaps in doorways, setting traps, and setting out bait where it wasn't possible to set out traps. Then he showed me all of the work he had done, pointed out what to look for in the future, and set a date of about 3 weeks from now so he could check traps and adjust any of the work he'd already performed. Mohammed did a great job, and is one of the reasons I've used Ward Pest Control before and would gladly do so again. Look, no one likes to see cockroaches or mice or whatever, but it's very reassuring the folks at Ward are there to kill the little buggers.

I like Ward, the guy who owns it. He came out originally to do it. He sends out additional treatment each year. When they come out, we see a couple of different guys. They've always been polite and on time. It looked like they're doing something thorough.

This company did a pest control for one of our neighbors. The exhaust fumes from their equipment permeated our house and made it barely tolerable for my wife and sick child. Although they apologized to both me and my wife their actions during their pest management of our neighbors' house were incredibly inconsiderate of the neighbors.

This company was unusually polite and responsive when I called for an appointment. The technicians were not only extremely friendly, but also sounded more knowledgeable than any exterminator I've used in the course of at least thirty years. They also seemed to be honestly respectful of environmental concerns and the safety of my pets. Our resistant problem with sugar ants responded immediately, and we're hoping to see fewer spiders and kcrickets now that we've arranged for regular service.

Very professional service. Never had experience in termite problems and didn't know what to expect.

We purchased a Big Deal for services from American Pest in 2011 and were quite happy with the results, particularly the drastic reduction in stink bugs getting into our house. We've continued using them since then at a slightly higher rate than what we paid for the Big Deal and have continued to be happy with the results and their responsiveness. We were also able to secure the same rate for our neighbor, who has now been using American Pest since 2012.

The service was very helpful. Anthony listened to our mousy problem, looked for possible entry points and walked us through various options for addressing our problem. He was professional and we would use them again if needed.

Shaheed was great - he was running late but called me to keep me update on his ETA. He was very professional and explained the treatments. I signed up for the bi-monthly service.

We needed an assessment of whether there was a moth issue in our house, and needed it to be thorough since there were no signs of a problem (long story). The assessment confirmed that we do not have such a problem. James Christiansen inspected the crawlspace under the house, closets, kitchen, cabinets, space between ceiling and roof, outside the home, and more. He also took the time to respond to a number of questions, and provide advice on preventative steps to avoid attracting pests. He was punctual, direct, and very agreeable. We highly recommend American Pest.
