Description of Work: The Ward technician arrived late in the appointment window due to previous appointments. He inspected the attic and found evidence of field mice and the opening used in the roof for their entrance to the house. Traps were set in two primary areas of activity. Then an inspection was performed in the garage, basement and around the exterior of the house. Recommendations were made for a follow-up appointment to ensure there were no future problems. On the follow-up appointment three days later, the gap in the roof joint was sealed and wire mesh put over other vents. Large gaps in corners of the garage were sealed so there were no chances of future entry to the attic. This was done outside the house also. Three field mice were caught in the traps set in the attic. We ahve not had any additional problems since the visit of the Ward technician. They did a great job and another follow-up visit is scheduled. All this at no additional cost.

Description of Work: Technician inspected entire perimeter and crawl space of house to find where mice had been coming in. He located the hole where mice were entering and proceeded to seal it with flashing. very good job. Technician was on time and very professional. I highly recommend them.

Description of Work: A gentleman named Don Brown was very punctual, courteous, knowledgeable and professional. This was to check for wood ingesting pests. Fortunately, I did not have any. It was a free consult.

I had an immediate need for service and even though I was redeeming an Angie's List Deal, they quickly booked my service. The problem was identified and corrective action taken to seal up access points and treat areas within my home. I was extremely pleased with the service.

Description of Work: We had trouble scheduling the service and finally could get them to come and treat. They had to re-treat as there was minor improvement with the ants. Scheduling for the season treatments was difficult and they would come when they pleased without notification. They were missing on the customer service when we called. I would not use them for the next season. Maybe they were too busy.

Description of Work: Service tech arrived right on time, inspected our home for likely mouse entry points and proceeded to block these off. Listened to all my questions and provided good answers and advice. Placed traps and bait in the attic. Called a week later to follow-up but we could not set the appointment at that time, so will try again later. Work was done quickly, efficiently and we have not heard or seen a mouse in the house since!

Description of Work: I had a problem with droppings in a closet. Service provider said it was mouse droppings and to make sure to close up any holes that could admit a mouse and then put out traps to catch any mice that are in the house. He inspected the perimeter of the house and identified 2 places that needed to be closed up. He said any handyman could do it more inexpensively than he could and charged me only $25 for a service call on a Saturday, late in the day. We have very smart mice because after the holes were closed and I put out sticky traps, the mouse ate the peanut butter without getting caught. Now for some more aggressive traps.

Description of Work: The exterminators did an excellent job. The building that they serviced already had an onsite exterminator, but his methods proved to be unsatisfactory. But, American Pest was able to remedy the problem.

Description of Work: Sadly, one of us came home from a trip with bedbugs, increasingly a more common experience. The Company, to which we were referred by our usual pest control (termite) control company gave us an inspection date, and good riddance date, and came back with dogs to sniff our any remnatns of the pests. This is one of the few companies that uses the "heat" method rather than the chemical method to take care ot the problem. What we spent for their services we saved in driycleaning and other associated expenses, and the heat method, apparentloy works very well. We have seen no evidence of any critters in 4 months, and we are very happy about that.

Description of Work: I have an annual contract and its the best money I've spent on pest control. Bugs, vermin, even raccoons. They arrive on time, are very courteous and knowledgeable, and get the work done. Best pest control service in the region, I've tried several. Thank you!

Description of Work: We hired them to get rid of stink bugs in the spring, which was part of a three-times-a-year service. No more stink bugs. They contacted us before the next service, so I called them back and left a message about an ant problem. They contacted me via email to let me know they got the message, and now the ants are gone.

Description of Work: I called because I thought we were infested with termites. OVER THE PHONE the operator reassured me by knowledgeably describing the pest and identifying it!! It turned out not to be termites and they didn't pressure me to buy any services I diddn't need. I will call them again WHEN I DO HAVE PESTS!! Wonderful in this day to get someone who doesn't try to force you to buy something you don't need.

Description of Work: Called to hire them for carpenter bee removal. Gave me the upfront price and we attempted to schedule an appointment, then they wanted my credit card information over the phone, prior to coming for an appointment and any work performed! I said I was not comfortable with that and that I would give card info when the tech was here. After checking with manager, they would not do this. I do not pay any service provider prior to a tech arrival and or services provided !!!
