Description of Work: The 2 reps who came to look at my roof to try to see where squirrels were getting into the attic were great; very professional and informative. The 2 guys sent to patch the holes and set a trap--not so much. They were nice but did not show up at the appointed day/time and were unprepared; they didn't have the right details or equipment for my job (communication issues in the office?). But a couple weeks later the scheduler called to see if my issue had been fixed (it hadn't) so I gave Ward's another chance. The second consultation went really well and the rep gave some good advice that I took (get a roofer). The first service call was $280, the second consultation $65.

Description of Work: I requested an assessment after noticing a growing foul odor in the upper level of our home. A representative from Ward came to our home the same day (at my request) and identified the problem. Services were not necessary, and he made recommendations for small home improvements that may prevent the problem in the future. No fee was charged. I will surely use Ward in the future when the need arises. I was treated with respect, professionalism and prompt response by each of the two schedulers and the service provider who visited our home. I very highly recommend them.

Description of Work: Before I received the Big Deal for American Pest, I had never used this service before. American Pest showed up, provided their service, and left notification that they had been at the residence. In the past, I would receive seasonal visits from ants, but since using this service, I have not seen ONE ant. Thank you Angie's List and thank you American Pest. I will be renewing this service if they offer me the same price again.

Description of Work: When I began my search for a pest management company, Ricardo at American pest was quick to reply. He answered all my questions and was in no way pushing me to sign up. His main form of communication with me was via email, which I also appreciated, being at work all day. The initial visit was great and the guy was very thorough. They are very professional and know what they are doing.

Description of Work: We thought we had bedbugs and had saved 2 in a clear baggie. We wanted the bedbug dog to come and verify and find exactly where they were so we would not have to treat anywhere in the house unnecessarily. American Pest gave me an appt. for a week away but called back in 2 hours to say they could come the next day! They arrived promptly, with their dog, Tracker. I showed the inspector the bugs and she took one look and told me they were beetles, NOT bedbugs. Then she inspected,or I should say, the dog inspected 3000' square and found none. She explained exactly how the dog finds bedbugs and behaves if there are any in ther whole house and showed us a short video of Tracker finding bedbugs in a huge auditorium. They do NOT need to see them as people do. We were 200% relieved. Other companies either don't have bedbug sniffing dogs or may not use them if you don't ask. I recommend this company highly.
