Description of Work: I initially called to have them come out to deal with mice, and they were here the next day and did an outstandingly thorough inspection, setting traps and bait stations and identifying problem areas. We caught several within the next few days, thanks to American Pests' professional approach. We have since had them come out regularly to check for mice and also do routine treatment for bugs - excellent service, amazingly responsive, and competitive prices but with better results than I have found through other companies.

Description of Work: I had a problem with large rodents entering my house. The technician was able to identify and fix one point of entry. However, there was a potential problem at the foundation on the outside of the house. The technician explained that investigating and implementing a possible solution which would involve excavating a lot of dirt around the foundation was outside of the scope of their service. Even though I was disappointed that I may still have a problem (hence the rating of "B" rather than an "A"), I did understand and accept his explanation. I must acknowledge that we have not had a recurrence of rodents. The technician was very courteous, professional and competent. He did a telephone follow up within a month of the service call. I would use their service again.

Description of Work: The person came on time, could have told me what they found was a cockroach and I would have paid a few hundred for him to treat my house. He said it was a waterbug, it got in because we had some dampness, and he refused to take any of my money. We forced him to take a tip!

Description of Work: They inspected out house for ants, any rodents and carpenter ant damage. He didn't find any problem from these creatures. He went on to explain to us what the damage we saw was from. It was a first time visit, but I'd certainly have them back.

Description of Work: We had mice. He went around the exterior finding an sealing gaps. |He set out 5 traps on the lower 2 floors of the house. He said to call if traps were sprung, but who wants to reschedule when you have a dead mouse? After two weeks they scheduled a follow-up without asking. I got a call- "you'll be home tomorrow, right?" Since we were disposing and reloading traps ourselves we no longer really needed them. Description of Work: I had a serious problem with bug, particularly with roaches. I attempted to control the problem myself. However, it was an unsuccessful attempt. My neighbor referred me to American Pest. The representative asked questions, inspected the home, and identified the type of bug in my house. He used a gel-type pesticide to eliminate the bugs.

Description of Work: Termite Inspection. Reviewed several saved samples of different flying ants. Sentricon treatment. Everything about this company and Ben (our service individual) has been great. Fantastic customer service. E-mails when office will be closed due to inclimate weather. Show up on time, call in advance, call when running late or to better accommodate my schedule. You name it.
