Description of Work: These guys pull the usual tricks... they come over when you're not home and they spray the outside of your place... then say they "provided service"... crazy tactics... plus, in our instance, they couldn't have access to our locked back yard area -- so much for serving our place... cancelled their contract -- too difficult to deal with, plus this kind of behavior turned us off...

Description of Work: I had a squirrel that had chewed his way into the attic. Ward's installed a one way door over the opening so the squirrel couldn't get back in. Worked like a charm. He came back in 10 days to verify the problem was solved and then disinfected the attic. Everything went as he said it would on the first visit. He was there when he said he would be and I thought he was quite professional. All in all, great job. Use these guys if you have a similar problem.

Description of Work: We have a service agreement with American Pest - they come for a scheduled inspection and treatment (as/if needed) every two months. If there are issues between services (like mice or other pests found), they come out free of charge to treat. Our technician is always prompt, pleasant, and professional. We have pets, and our technician always keeps them in mind when treating, so that their safety is assured. We've used another vendor in the past, and terminated our relationship with them because they had huge communication problems and were just frustrating to work with, from a corporate perspective. We're much happier with American Pest. Their front office is polite and responsive. I do wish they had a better mechanism for scheduling our appointments. They email us a week or so ahead of when they plan to show up, with an all-day window of when we can expect them. I work all day, so that doesn't fly with me and I always have to request a specific time, which generally means lots of correspondence to pick a date and time. Wouldn't it be nice if I could just go online and pick my appointment date, time, and technician. Like I do with restaurants and other similar service providers.

Description of Work: I use American Pest. They do quarterly pest sprays. They come around every 3 months, and spray and put out traps.

Description of Work: Sprayed for ants & other insects. They didn't show up on the first call, they went to a different address, didn't call. However, I was given a discount when I agreed to keep them.

Description of Work: I contacted American Pest to get a second opinion after my current pest control provider identified some problems in the attic. James came out to do an inspection quickly advised against the ~$4,000 worth of service my old provider was recommending. He gave a thorough inspection, logical recommendations, and a much appreciated sanity check! I decided to ditch my old provider and use American Pest instead. I just had my first service appointment and was pleased with the service. I am glad I made the switch!
