They needed my credit card, even before they came out or looked at our problem. It struck me that their focus was on what they could sell me, not whether they could diagnose or understand my problem. This was a company that I had used in prior years, so they should know who I am. When I was able to get another company I cancelled.

In April we contracted with a 3rd party to provide additional phone support during times when our business is closed, such as evenings or before the early morning commute. In doing so, we have uncovered several coaching opportunities. The information that you have provided is being used to better the service that we provide after hours, because this isn't the experience that we want our clients to have. We offer many types of no-cost inspections and do not require a credit card to schedule these inspections. They were professional, responsible and honest. The guy came out, looked around and said: I only see one hole, which I will close up. I don't see evidence that they are traveling around. You may just need to catch a few and here are some extra traps for you to use. We paid him for the visit and he went on his way. I appreciated that he gave me an honest assessment, did not try to sell any ongoing pest treatment. They also came exactly on time and i got an appointment 24 hours after I called. You do not get this kind of honest professionalism any more, and I value them and will call them when I have questions in the future.
Description of Work: We have a mouse problem that crops up a couple times a year, particularly when seasons change. We generally catch them, but have caught a couple so wanted an exterminator to take a look at holes we might be missing or see if there is something more we should be doing.

Completely eliminated mouse access to home. Carefully went around perimeter of house, even very small crawl spaces, and plugged and openings. No mouse activity at all since then, has been a full year.

It went very well. They were able to get an exterminator to my house within a few days and he arrived at the expected time. He did an outside and inside inspection and set traps in the house and garage. He also placed bait boxes outside the house. He was very good at answering questions. I decided during the visit to buy a one year plan to include the extermination of bugs. We receive written reports by email of the services done and products used. They have followed up by phone to make sure we were happy. The mice are gone. We will continue to use American Pest in the future if necessary.

I used American Pest at my rental property for the bimonthly service and they were excellent. My technician was Nate and he was always very good at identifying where pests were coming in and eliminating the problem. I loved them so much that I immediately contracted with them again for the house I just bought.

American Pest is great and their techs are really top-notch. They're courteous, friendly, very professional, and know their stuff. The only slight downside is that they're not always as responsive as I would like, but we have been pleased overall.

Great service. They're always on time and don't rest until the problem is fixed. They worked with us to select pet-safe products and recommended easy things we could do ourselves (e.g, sealing cracks).

We set up an appointment and the technician, Tim, arrived on time and was very helpful in pointing out potential risk areas that needed to be addressed and demystifying other concerns (and not trying to upsell). What stood out was their communication with their customer. There was one treatment where we were bitten by mosquitoes and they came out even though it was not on the schedule. They were customer focused.

They came and set traps and sprayed outside and sealed an outside entrance. It was estimated that from the amount of droppings that there were 5 to 6 mice. Within 2 days 6 mice were caught in our basement. I have hired them fro regular insect service.

Problem solved. The technician arrived on time and was helpful, knowledgeable and professional. He found small holes near a window and where chimney and roof meet and patched them. After catching five mice (before the service appointment), we haven't seen a single mouse. We're very relieved and we wouldn't have found these small holes by ourselves. I'm grateful for the expertise and professionalism of Innovative Pest Management. It was a bit of a hit to the wallet but worth it.

Everything went fine. We found the technicians to be helpful and informative. They installed the bait stations as planned. We've had them back for routine checks on several occasions. Any minor hiccups were addressed by their customer service team. So far we've been happy with them.

Technician was extremely friendly and knowledgable. Very thorough with the inspection. Since he didn't see any evidence of infestations, he recommended moderate exterior treatment and to monitor glue traps for 30 days.

Initial exclusion work and traps reduced the problem but never completely solved the problem within the 3 month warranty period. One courtesy visit was provided out of the 3-month period. When it became apparent that the initial work failed to identify all the entry points, Ward wants to charge another $560 for a new treatment and this time the warranty is only one month. I feel that the price does not justify the work provided.
