The workmen arrived at the time agreed upon, the explained the process, addressed downspout that needed replacement. Work done was excellent.

The technician arrived promptly at the time scheduled. He visually inspected my both sides of my house and determined that I needed to REPLACE EVERYTHING. Although, the gutters on one side of my house was perfect and the other side was moderately damaged. He highly suggested that I replace and repair everything and gave me an estimate of $1,800.00 for both sides. I would have been pleased if he had cleaned the good side and gave me an estimate of the side that needed to be repaired and replaced. I want my money back from Angie's List!

Dealing with AHC was a pleasant experience from start to finish. The representative that took my call and booked my appointment was courteous and efficient. I got an appointment confirmation call the day before my appointment and the Technician also called me on the morning of the appointment to confirm the time and work to be done. Chuck arrived at my home early and did not park in or block my driveway. He asked questions about the age and history of the house and structures which I could not fully provide as we had only owned the home a little over 4 years. Chuck went ahead and got on the roof to inspect our entire roofing structure and gutters. He took pictures as he went and even helped remove fallen tree limbs from the rooftop. He later gave his assessment of the condition of the gutters and what portion needed to be cleaned and tightened. He then went about the job of cleaning out the muck and debris from the affected areas of the gutter. He also cleaned all the debris that had blown from the gutter on to the floor off of our property and both decks. That to me was very impressive as I felt I would have to be responsible for cleaning the lower floor areas myself. Chuck pretty much left my home in the same clean manner he left it other than the fact that I know had cleaner and better fitted gutters. He also did not at any time try to sell me on anything. Just a complete professional if you ask me. And then to put a nice bow on the visit, the office emailed me all the pictures Chuck took of my roof and gutter conditions the following day. Just a totally satisfactory experience from start to finish. I highly recommend Chuck and American Home Contractors to anyone looking to get a roof or gutter job done. They are true professionals.

Marc was very professional, provided straightforward explanations and reasonable suggestions for additional work needed in the future. And he took care of minor repairs. Very happy.

The service was really quick and easy-only taking about an hour to complete and I really liked working with them. I was able to get an appointment right away but it was really far in advance. I scheduled it in November for an appointment in January. But other than that, I would recommend them!

It went great. Marc Burkett showed up on time (Inspection was actually rescheduled due to an office mistake). He walked the property and asked me if I had any leaks. I did have one waterspot near the chimney. Marc was very knowledgable and shared his knowledge with me answering all my questions. He replaced all the missing shingles, I provided original shingles that I found in my garage, but Marc had ones in his van that were a better match. He caulked around the chimney which may have caused the ceiling leak. I am very pleased with the work that Marc did and would request him from the company for any additional repairs.

From appointment scheduling and confirmation to the service technicians that came out and inspected the roof, everyone that I dealt with at American Home Contractors Inc was friendly, knowledgable and sincere.

The technician Mr. DePazzo called to let me know he was able to get to my location earlier which was great. Every thing about the roof was explained clear and concise. I was shown before and after photos of the problem areas and the repairs which was awesome. I was offered time to setup an appointment for free estimate for roof replacement and its as soon as the Saturday of this week. Offered $250.00 coupon off project .

Their price is right but they are more interested in selling roof more than customer service. They did the repair and it was fine. I love their crew and the crew chief guy was great, the salesman was full of crap. He makes the sale but the day they were to do the roof they had a schedule surgery and he did not hand that off to someone else in the office to handle. The crew chief comes in and he has a question, he pulled the old roof because we had damage to the roof and sometimes you pull things apart you go “oh this isn’t what I was expecting”. He had forgotten who wrote in the order the repair that had to be done to the roof. When I called him he is at the hospital getting ready for surgery. He said I’m in the hospital and I don’t have time to deal with this now. The ultimate customer service would have been to refer it to somebody else while he is out. I called the boss and he said “ I think you should give him credit because he was willing to take the call”, I said are you nuts, what kind of employer are you. I said I as the buyer here I don’t want to deal with somebody like that. I had a problem, and someone about to have surgery can’t handle that. What brought them up to the C was the crew and the crew chief.

It went well once they actually could do the work. On the original date, there was frost all over the roof so they could not do the work. The rescheduled date had snow but fortunately it was almost all gone when they got here. Marc was very thorough and talked to me before and afterwards so I knew what he was doing. He explained his recommendations and answered my questions.

As I conveyed above, it went wonderfully! I was so pleased, that I immediately told friends and relatives, and my cousin right then and there joined Angie's List and wanted to have American Home Contractors come provide the same service.

Very good service -- scheduling was professional (and proactive about rescheduling during potential inclement weather), and service tech arrived on time. Was thorough, good explanation, no attempt to up-sell.

Josh D. was our sales person he took the time to fully explain how the roofing process would go. I had done some previous research on some repairs I knew would have to be done (soffits etc.). Josh had all the correct answers and I was fully confident in AHC's ability. On our install day Josh was on site to supervise the work as well as introduced me to the job foreman. Clean up after the job was excellent and Josh came the next day to review the clean up. The roof, vents etc. look great the quality of the work is excellent. AHC has you pay the full amount after the job is satisfactorily completed which say's something for the company's reputation.

Great! Marc B was the technician. Was professional and personable. He called before arriving to let me know he was on his way and approximate arrival time. He offered suggestions and gave me a thorough overview regarding both the gutters and status of my roof. Was very happy with the service. Thank you Marc.

Dan, the project manager, is knowledgeable, honest, and pleasant to talk too. When there was a problem with the color of the gutters Dan was quick to fix it. We had quite a bit of rotten wood that needed replacing on the roof. The work by the team was done quickly, professionally and they were sure to clean up after themselves. ( A big plus in my book.) In listening to the guys you can tell that they took pride in their work. I will definitely hire them again and spread the word to others. Thanks Dan and the team.

Pleased with service and punctuality.

I am very pleased with the service performed, the warranty, and communication. American Home warranties the labor for 25 years. In addition, I wanted a Golden Pledge warranty from GAF, in which they warranty the product for 50 years and the labor for 25, so there are two warrantors in essence. I paid extra for several squares of plywood beyond the first two, but they threw in concrete patching around the chimney. They were right on time, tarped everything, and totally cleaned up everything.

Nick, the technician, was very professional and friendly. I was quite impressed with his ability to resolve a gutter overflow issue I've had for many years. I have procured several roofing specialist to try and resolve the back-up of gutter, and none of them explained or resolved the issue. According to Nick (before and after photos), it was basically a build-up of asphalt from shingles. He cleaned/scraped it out, and resolved a 7+ year issue. I was truly amazed at the level of incompetence of previous roofing companies I procured to fix.
