President of company called me to apologize for snafu and make sure the work was done properly. They certainly aimed to please me. Techs new what they were doing. Communication was difficult because team was not proficient in English so when I asked a question or wanted things done just a little different it was difficult. Techs were professional and very well trained. Cleaned up and were careful with property. They came when they said and completed project on time.

No charge for checking roof and performed minor repairs. Tech was very knowledgeable. He took pictures of problems and then took pictures after repairs. Very responsive. Very punctual.

The technician Chuck was courteous and professional. He did a thorough investigation of our leaks and sealed all the gaps.

Marc B. from American Home Contractors arrived and thoroughly explained the process to me. He was able to clean the first floor gutters but due to wind conditions he had to reschedule the second floor. He made the process very easy and explained his inspection results. I would definitely recommend him to clean and inspect your gutters and attic.

FANTASTIC! At first we had a rocky start because the inspection/repair had to be rescheduled no less than 4 times. It wasn't their fault as it was bad luck due to rain, snow, sleet, etc. Every time we had them scheduled something would happen. I was ready to cancel the entire thing and I'm glad I didn't. The contractor was on the roof for a few hours and really did an amazing job "cleaning" things up. He did minor repairs on our flashing and repaired a few shingles. WAY MORE than expected. These guys are good. What sets them apart, however, is their customer service in the office. They called and confirmed every step of the way and were extremely professional. The contractor said we have 5-10 years left on the roof so we will be calling them again!

Marc was extremely professional and had a wealth of knowledge about roofing. He took time to explain in a clear and helpful way. He arrived a few minutes late due to traffic but I received two phone calls letting me know, one from Marc and one from the company. His knowledge allowed him to quickly identify problem areas and he repaired those areas.

Our technician, Howard Shires, was on-time, courteous, and informative. He worked quickly and did a thorough job. Moreover, he gave us helpful details regarding the past maintenance of our gutters, as well as valuable information about the condition of our roof. The cost of service was very reasonable. We would definitely recommend American Home Contractors to our friends.

Outstanding service. Chuck, the technician, was very knowledgeable and professional. In the past I paid service providers more to just get the gutters cleaned. For a reasonable price, Chuck inspected and cleaned the gutters and also inspected the attic and roof. He took pictures so he could review with me the state of the roof, vents, and gutters. Would highly recommend. A+++ service. Thank you Chuck and American Home Contractors.

I was asked to give my three available dates online when I purchased so I did. They didn't answer my email or call me to confirm the dates I gave them. On the third date, no show so I called the company. I was told that they are full booked, the available date is a month away. They should mention that in their post so I can choose another company to do the gutter cleaning but they chose not. The appointment date arrived, the rain came so it was postponed three weeks. On the appointment, they came an hour late. They used the leaf blower to blow all wet decay leaves out, left a mess on my sidings, heat pump and lawn chairs. They blew all leaves off from the heat pump and chairs but the sliding is a mess. The rain will clean it off anyway. They didn't check my attic, they decided to skip it on the checklist, why? I do not know. My gutters are cleaned out, that's what I need.

They could not do the first appointment because of the snow on the roof. There was a failure to communicate as far as the reschedule but once I contacted them they confirmed the night before and arrived on time. Jonathan was methodical and thorough, searching for the source in the attic. He found a small spot (about the size of a dime) through the insulation to the ceiling drywall. He then searched the roof and found one nail that was bent when hammered and was a conduit for the water through the roof into the attic. He took pictures throughout the process and repaired the leak, waterproofing beyond the immediate area of the bent nail. He reinforced the other roof structures and evaluated the deck roof, as requested for a future job (replace skylights, replace flashing and other structural work). He was professional, kept me informed throughout the process, acted confidently and appeared competent and knowledgeable. They shared all of the photos (which beats me going into the attic and on the roof) within 24 hours. I have scheduled a visit with their estimator for the additional work.

Howard was a true professional and spend a lot of time to find the source of the leak. Unlike other roof contractor that I consulted, he said that the roof is in very good shape and doesn't need repair. The source of leak could be the siding. Since the siding was repaired recently, he wanted me to keep an eye on the affected area in a rainy day. I will call him back if the leak is still there. So that on the next visit he can systematically remove shingles from affected area and trace the source of moisture. I trust his judgement and hope that the leak is cleared.

The work was done in under two hours, accounting for the extra work I authorized, plus Nick tightened up the popped nails on the guttering. I was told I'd receive all the before and after pictures Nick showed me in a few days. All in all, I'm happy with the work and quality. I'd recommend this company to friends.

I am extremely satisfied with the services performed by Nick, he did exactly what I wanted. He concentrated on the area of my leak, removing a bad nail and adding other nails and caulking. After that he worked the rest of the roof adding caulking to lots of places and replacing a rubber gasket ... As I saw in the pictures that were provided. Nick was very professional with his services. I would ask for Nick.

Explained exactly what work was done to the roof and showed pictures of the work. Pictures were taken inside and showed water damage and deterioration of a section of the roof.

Howard and Eric were thorough, very knowledgeable, pointed out some problem areas with the downspouts. They took pics of the roof and showed me a problem area with the chimney and even identified a pipe that was clogged. I think its very useful to be able to get pics taken of the roof as part of the gutter cleaning service.

Did a thorough job of all, including taking pictures of interior of attic and pointing out some areas, like a gutter that had a less than ideal slope, and a problem with the window in the attic. No pressure to have work done then.

Extremely well. Technician (Howard) provided a courtesy call prior to arriving. Both technicians (Eric assisting) were not only competent, but pleasant and professional. Took the time to apprise me of conditions observed at the property, and answer questions unrelated to primary service. I purchased the Angie's List deal from American Home Contractors for $125 for gutter cleaning and maintenance package. I have a 2 story house with about 90 linear feet of gutters total, and LOTS of leaves, so their price for cleaning them is a good one. American Home Contractors contacted me immediately after I purchased the deal, and set up an appointment for the following week for the gutter cleaning. On the day of the cleaning, Mr. Nicholas DePazzo arrived not only on time, but a few minutes early. Mr. Depazzo was very professional and friendly, and went over with me what he would be doing. He did an excellent job cleaning the gutters, and then did a complete inspection of the gutters, roof, windows, doors, and siding. He gave me a written report of his inspection, and also showed and emailed me photos of the roof. I rather expected that there would be a hard sell for other work to be done, or products to be purchased, but that was definitely not the case. Mr. DePazzo simply went over the results of his inspection which indicated that the things he inspected were in good condition, and he gave me a copy of the written inspection report. He also gave me a $250 coupon good towards any future work American Contractors might do for me in the future, and encouraged me to give them a call if I need help with any of the services they provide. I will most definitely hire American Contractors again for other house maintenance needs, and I recommend them without hesitation.

They wanted to sell me a new roof $7000+. Had it repaired for $275 by another company?

Great job and was very thorough. I used them about 2 years ago and will definitely use them going forward. Marc was very thorough on a very cold day.
