Initial meeting started a little rocky as far as giving us the hard sell on a new roof before going up there to actually view the roof. However, the technician Mark Burkett straightened himself out after we told him that we didn't want to buy a new roof today and that he should focus on just performing the service that was already paid for. We must say the Mr, Burkett was excellent from that point forward. We were very impressed with is professionalism, technical knowledge and attention to detail. We were provided with the detailed inspection report (minus the pictures) and the phone # for a roof replacement estimate. We feel that he did a great job and we would consider hiring this company in the future.

Marc was awesome. He was very thorough and walked me through anything that was being done and anything that he suggested be done to keep our roof in good condition. He was really great and I highly recommend Marc and American Home Contractors to anyone needing roof work or a check up.

The inspector was punctual and professional. He took lots of pictures from inside and outside of the roof, and made minor repairs to cracked shingles and nail pops. The inspector scheduled a replacement estimate that evening, and the estimator came promptly within days. The estimate was quite a bit higher than another company I contacted, and the time frame was a bit too long, so I went with the other company. When I mentioned this, AHC countered with a cheaper offer and a much better timeline, but I had already signed a contract with another company.

There was no attempt to add cost to the repairs, but was advised that the roof had significant wear and will need replacement in the relatively near term. Overall, we had a good experience.

Marc was late arriving but he called and explained that he was sent to a job way north of me and that he would be about an hour late. That was not a problem for me so it was not an issue. Marc found where some nails had gone all the way through some shingles and repaired them for me. Overall, he did an excellent job, and I would have him back if needed.

Jonathan, the service tech, was excellent. His inspections of the gutter system, roof, attic, and flashing around the house were very thorough. He did a great job cleaning the very full gutters and cleaning up the yard afterwards. He was able to spot and fix a flashing problem on the roof. He also made a number of suggestions for fixing other problems. Overall, he worked at our house for more than two hours.

Marc, did an excellent job repairing and inspecting my 20-year-old roof. I showed him two areas that had small leaks. He identified what was causing those problems and took care of them while he was doing my roof tune up. He was very knowledgeable and took time answered all my questions thoroughly. He gave me a detailed inspection report with recommendations for when I get my roof repair.

Very well indeed. Nicholas DePazzo arrived on time, cleaned the gutters and inspected the roof. He found some places where the shingles could do with repairs, and showed me pictures of same. We agreed on a price and he fixed the shingles.

Marc Burkett was polite and professional. He called ahead to ask if I was available for him to come earlier than scheduled. He assessed the damages and explained to me what the problems were and what he needed to do to fix them. He then proceeded to replace the missing shingles, caulk the exposed nail heads and seams, and replace the cracked pipe boot gasket. He asked if I wanted to see what he was doing, to go around to the back yard, I could watch. He then explained while he was replacing the gasket, what he was doing. He told me he checked the entire roof and caulked the seams that needed it. He told me there were no other concerns with the roof, it was in good shape.
