The job, from all appearances, went well from start to finish. Of course, the next few times it rains hard will be the proof. The appointment (and re-appointment) was handled by the office well and the roof technician (Marc Burkett) arrived on time and was thorough in his explanation of what he would be doing and how I would be able to get photographs 24-48 hours after the job was completed. The work also involved an Inspection Report which Marc completed and provided a copy before leaving. The "tune-up" also included caulking and sealing, etc., as detailed in the offer. Marc was professional throughout the almost two hours that it took to complete the work. I believe I have the information necessary for a relatively painless house sale, at least as far as the roof is concerned.

Although I had to reschedule a few times (twice because of my own conflict and once because of very windy weather) AHC and Marc were VERY accommodating and professional. Marc was always on time, a great communicator and honest--he never tried to up sale me on work that I did not need, and told me how to best maintain the longevity of the work that he had done. Other repair persons quoted me much more for much more extensive work that I did not need at this time. Due to his professionalism, great communication, integrity and punctuality, I would work with them again with no hesitation and gladly recommend them to anyone else.

The technician, Marc Burkett, came out today ( 11/14/2017 ). He cleaned the gutters and made reattachments where needed. He was very knowledgeable and professional. I would use this company again.

They did a great job:excellent communications, punctuality, and workmanship. Our new roof looks great! And the company did a thorough job of cleaning up after themselves. I would definitely recommend them to my neighbors.

I finally made an appointment and when the man came with the ladder and camera and said since it had plastic netting on top he left. I called a couple of times to find out the status of the job and was told they didn't wont to do the job and will return the money. Still waiting for the notice that they have return the money

It went well. The contractor did what I asked.

We purchased a home earlier this year and noticed rain overflowing the gutters. Marc Burkett from American Home did an initial inspection and explained how the the pitch of the roof, size of the gutters/downspouts, placement of downspouts, and clogging debris can drastically affect water drainage. Marc removed buckets of decomposed leaves, branches, and shingle sediment. Cleaning was difficult due to years of accumulation that filled the east gutter (near trees) of our 2-1/2 story home. Time will tell if the weight of the debris caused any gutter damage especially in corners or at joints. I can follow up with Marc should leaks appear. I expect however that the overflow problem is fixed. Marc is thorough, informative and considerate. I would not hesitate to ask specifically for him again!

It was excellent. I am having them come out again to clean my gutters since I was so happy with them.

We signed up for the $99 gutter cleaning special. They told me someone had to be here for the cleaning so I took a half day off from work. When the technician arrived, he said he couldn’t perform the service because it was a two person job. Upset that I took a half day off work for nothing, I called the office manager. She was not available but I was told she would call me back. She never did. I rescheduled the cleaning and took another half day off. I’m the fool here for assuming they would come through and make up for the previous mistake. They called to confirm the wrong day. I called the manager and was finally able to speak to her. She was very unprofessional and blaming me for the company’s incompetencies. I asked for a refund and did what I should have done from the beginning: I called Gutter Guys and they were responsive and did a good job at a fair price!

Very well. Mark explained everything - called to let me know he’d be a little late. I may need some future work but he got an estimate for me Before he left and gave me a discount coupon towards future work. Very good job. Thank you!

Originally wanted service performed today as I was off but there were no openings. Was placed on the cancellation call list and was called last night to have an appointment this morning. The Technician, Howard showed up on time ready to start. He asked background questions, roof age, other work done, location of leaks etc and immediately set off to view the area of leak. He knew what it was before even getting into the attic based on location. After inspecting the inside of the roof from the attic was able to show clear photos of the daylight coming through from around the open gasket. Through the thorough inspection he also noticed another plumbing pipe on the other side of the attic with a damaged gasket, saving us from another service call and or more ceiling damage. Howard went onto the roof and showed more photos of the missing gaskets and missing tile flap. He explained the work to be done how long it would take and set off to do. The entire call was about an hour. This is how home service is supposed to be done. Excellent job.

Technician was prompt and professional. He explained the situation and completed the task effficiently.

Steve did a great job. He examined the roof, then showed us photos of the repairs that needed to be done. He explained everything clearly. He did the repairs and showed us photos of what he had done We’ll hire them again if/when needed

Did a great job. Removed old shingles, replaced drip edge, added waterproof barrier, re-shingled and cleaned up. I thought price was a little high, but hard to get anyone to take on a small job like this.

Marc Burkett was very knowledgeable and professional, explained the issues that may be causing the leak, including a comprehensive review of the roof condition. He performed a few maintenance operations, An actual repair was not performed as due to the state of the shingles it was impossible to identify and repair the exact location of the leak. The recommendation was to replace the entire roof.

Very happy with the initial contractor presentation. Cpntaact has been signed and deposit given. Good value for the money. Am looking forward to installation which hopefully will take place before end of the month.

Much time/effort was spent picking out top-rated siding companies from several rating organizations. Some of the various estimate visits ranged from no-detail estimates to those with lots of expensive unexplained items. During his initial appointment, Mr. Joshua Dunevant (American Home Contractors) provided me with information, suggestions, answers to all my questions, and options suited to my individual circumstances as a homeowner. Before, during, and after the siding installation, he was always available to attend to any questions/concerns. I am VERY pleased with my home's appearance. Another improvement project will mean a call to this company. Thank you.

The service was effective and efficient. Howard arrived on time and did a thorough inspection of the attic and then the roof. He was in constant communication during the process to keep me inform of his findings. He adjusted the shingles. At the conclusion, he reviewed the inspection report with me and provided pictures. Highly pleased.

The work was done on time and the assessment was very thorough.

Was told by my tenant contractor Howard got there stayed for about 10 mins left and never came back

Howard arrived right at 8 a.m. and did the all of the work, plus nailed back a few gutter nails to hold it in place better. 90 day guarantee so if the work he did doesn't address the issue, he will come back for free. I am very satisfied with that!!! Thank you!!!
