Work was excellent. It was hard to reach the office or have them call since we had to reschedule twice due to weather.

AHC is awesome. Went back to AHC after previous hiring for exact same issue. Just like before - friendly, calm, professional and knowledgeable staff with the team they sent out this time, Steve and Mark. These guys know their stuff, and just like before - there was NO effort to upsell or have me try to purchase any other service. These guys are on salary - not on commission and it fundamentally changes HOW they talk to their customers in a positive and refreshing way. That's why we've gone back to them and plan to do so when we look at replacing the roof next year. They answered all our questions and am very satisfied. There is a difference on price between having to use a one-man or two-man team. Most roofing jobs are two-man teams (obviously), so just be aware. There was no issue here with this - AHC was upfront when scheduling, but want others to be aware.

Went great. I was at work, my tenants were home. They called when they were on their way, and called again after the inspection. Took about 10 or so minutes to go over in depth what they found, and they sent an email with photos afterwards as well.

They were really flexible with me as I had to reschedule several times due to my work schedule changing. On the day of, Steve arrived right on time and gave a thorough evaluation and then cleaned out the gutters and resecured them. After finishing up, he came back in and went over his work with photos and documentation. Very well done!

The service man looked at the problem from the ground, then went up on the roof and looked at the problem. After looking at the fallen rain gutter, he told me that I could save money by getting a handyman to pull the old gutter back up to the roof and reattach. I took his advice and told him that I would be sure to call him if I needed to replace my system. We were very pleased with the service man. He was early but waited in his truck until just before the appointment time. He was very pleasant and professional.

Everything went really well and I certainly would recommend and use them again in the future.

From the beginning estimate to the final window installation everything went went smoothly and professionally. Working with Josh was a wonderful experience. His expertise and responsiveness to my needs gave me a sense of comfort that my home repair was in good hands.

good service and minor repair of loose shingles

I bought the $99 gutter cleaning and tune-up deal, and it was worth every penny. They gave me a short, one-hour window of when to expect them and arrived during that window, which I appreciated because I didn't have to wait around for hours unsure of when they might show up. They took lots of before and after photos so I could see exactly what they'd done, and they were thorough in explaining areas on my roof that could use some repair work. One area in particular had been baffling us -- the wall in my son's bedroom kept getting wet, and we couldn't figure out why until they pointed out a shingle that wasn't glued down properly.

Marc cleaned the gutters and blew the debris off of my deck and walk ways. Very thorough. Appreciated that he took pictures of issues he discovered then discussed them with me. Pictures really made me understand the problems.

American Home Contractors was great. We called them because our ceiling started leaking during a rainstorm a couple weeks ago. They offered a $149 roof tune-up that would include some basic repairs -- much less than we thought we'd have to spend. Charles was early (which was great) and got everything done in about 45 minutes. I showed him the two areas inside the house that were concerning. He went outside, climbed up on the roof, took pictures, and came back down to show me what he'd found. He then patched multiple problematic areas on the room, which will hopefully fix the current leak and stave off any future problems. We still need a new roof. But since we can't afford that right now, this roof tune-up was a perfect interim measure that was totally within our budget. We'll definitely be calling American Home Contractors when we do get ready for a new roof so they can come give us an estimate.

Repaired as much as possible. Inspected all the gutters, roof, and siding for signs of water damage. He found a few spots that likely have water damage that will need further inspection. Overall I'm happy with the service and recommendations.

Turned out that we needed an exhaust pipe reattached after the gasket deteriorated. Howard fixed it quickly. He also inspected the roof. He was friendly and efficient. We will definitely keep them in mine for any future work we may need.

My appointment with Will Moore went great! He was very professional and really takes pride in his work. I was only expecting him to repair the leak I had but instead he reviewed the entire roof and fixed a few more issues as well. He gave me a comprehensive review after he was done and showed me the various issues he found through pictures. I would definitely hire American Home Contractors of Virginia, LLC again - thank you!

From scheduling to service, the employees were all pleasant and great to work with. The gentleman who did the cleaning arrived on time and quickly explained what he would be doing. He took pictures throughout the service and then discussed them with me after he had finished the job. I felt comfortable asking him for an opinion on a different roofing matter. He was able to provide me with some information and a ballpark figure and at no time did I feel like I was getting an upsell. Have already recommended them to a friend.

Charles arrived early, was extremely professional and personable. He was efficient and thorough. Showed pictures of issues before and after. Very thankful the issue was fixed and they worked us in so quickly.

Completed roof in one day, the crew was careful to drape sheets over the windows and shrubs next to the house to deflect debris from the old shingle removal. Was very pleased with their technical knowledge of roofing systems. Encountered only one problem with the remounting of the Direct TV antenna, needed to have it remounted by Direct TV, and the roof mount locations were quickly repaired by American Home.

Great job! Marc was on time and very professional. Explained in detail what the suspected issues could be and performed a thorough inspection of the roof, sealing up any creases or flaws. Provided pictures of the work done (I'm not going up on the roof!) and suggestions on roof maintenance, for future reference. Price is very reasonable, definitely recommend.

This is the second time I have used Am Home Cont. Always a pleasant experience. I'm always amazed at how many leaves are actually in the gutters. They get them all.
