Mike G. was great. He was on time and efficient. The work was done within an hour and then he took care to walk through detailed before and after photos with me and answer all my questions. He even performed a small repair as part of the service. It was a very pleasant service experience. I will hire again down the road when we need siding repaired.

Steve did an excellent job. He was thorough and made numerous minor repairs, and gave detailed explanations of his findings. Would highly recommend American Home Contractors.

At first, it was fantastic. It was so good, that I invited my neighbor to join me in getting our gutters replaced at the same time. Shaun, our salesman gave us a nice deal since they could do two jobs from the same spot. We were told it would be 7-10 days from the time we signed the contract until the time the job was complete. By day 11, I called and indicated that I was worried I hadn't heard from them (I'd lost track of time). By this point it was the 28th of September, so I explained that I had an appraisal on the 5th of October . He told me they'd do all they could to get it done, but made no assurances. I found it bizarre, it was not much gutter nor was it much work. Finally, I got a call telling me that they would be at my house on Monday, October 1st. I teleworked waiting. They arrived and began on my neighbor's house at about 3:pm. I had to leave for an appointment, and as I was leaving I asked the installers if they were going to do my job too? They told me no, and that I should call the office. So I called the office, and left a message for Shaun. He called back about an hour later and asked "miscommuniication?" because he was told by the installers that they intended on doing my house. It was weird, but no problem I was just relieved to get it done. THEN, I got home to see that they only did half of the job. Right now, I have 2 different colored gutters. So I called Shaun who told me he was "furious" and that he'd get to the bottom of it. Then he had a funeral and couldn't get ahold of the contractors. And then told me he'd call me but then just not call, SO I was supposed to have the appraisal today, but I postponed until Monday in order to give them time to fix this mess. I called the main office to try and speak with someone who might know what is going on. I was transferred to a guy named Dave, who asked me if he could help, heard my story and then said, "I don't have anythign to do with gutters" and hung up. I called back, with the hopes that he meant to transfer me, and no one answered. I feel like Shaun: furious.

Marc was super helpful and punctual when putting a tarp on my roof to temporarily prevent leaking while I wait for my roof replacement. I will definitely use again! I will update my review when the new roof has been installed.

Steve arrived early, which was fine by me, got on the roof, inspected the gutters, took pictures to show me every step of the way and cleared the clogs in the drain pipe and sealed a downspout, Did a great job. Thorough. Professional. Complete.

We had a really positive experience with AHC from start to finish. James Im was a breath of fresh air after meeting with several other window company salespeople--just down-to-earth, knowledgeable and straight forward (as opposed to the more intense sales tactics we had experienced!). Follow up by email and phone was easy and the financing options worked well for us. James introduced us to the Compositwood products from Interstate Windows, which look and function beautifully. He had good suggestions for keeping the look consistent with the rest of our 1920's home. We wouldn't have found this brand otherwise but very glad we did! While the custom order took a couple weeks longer to manufacture than anticipated, it was well worth the wait. David and his team did a great job on the installation--arriving on time and working quickly and efficiently. Additionally, James arranged the replacement of our gutters with leaf guards (worth every penny!). The installation was a bit tricky in spots and we were impressed how easily they figured it all out. Several weeks (and never ending rain) later, everything is looking and functioning perfectly. We will definitely be in touch with them for future projects.

the contractor went up in the attic to find the source of the leak, took pictures, and showed me what was happening. He also went up on the roof and did the same. the leak was the result of a rubber boot around an exhaust pipe being cracked and dried after 17 years. He replaced the boot and did a complete roof examination, including at my request, where the porch roof meets the palladian window. He was efficient, honest, and very affordable. The leak has stayed fixed, and I have peace of mind that my roof is in good shape. Would highly recommend this honest, knowledgeable contractor!!

Steve came out today for a gutter service. He did a great job explaining what was going on with our drainage issues, took before and after photos, and answered any questions I had thoroughly. Would definitely recommend.

Charlie was lovely. We chatted quite a bit when he came over to review the job and provide the cost estimate and he gave me lots of good information about the process. Unfortunately he started the job the week that the weather went from non-stop hot to rain almost every other day. He kept me informed of his progress and let me know when weather caused him to stop. I was absolutely amazed that he finished within the schedule he set out and that in spite of the icky weather the paint has stayed on and worn well. My mother who is a stickler for perfection said that the job was excellent but there should not have been paint on the brick and that he should not have left one of the drop cloths behind. I however thought that the job was well done, Charlie was lovely and I would hire him again in a heart beat.

Howard was very professional and informative of what he would do and what he actually did. He performed a cleaning or clearing of 3 of my down spouts which were all clogged. I was only aware of one of the clogs. I have used the services of this company several times and have always been pleased with their service, professionalism, and availability. Thank you for another job well done.

Mike G did a very thorough and professional job of inspecting my roof and nailing down some loose shingles. He explained about needing a new roof ridge in the near future and will quote me a price on that so I can budget for it. I would definitely hire AHC again and hope I get Mike G to do the work!

Mr. Marc Burkett was the roofing specialist that came, he was polite, on time and very helpful in explaining what he noticed with my property. His knowledge extended well beyond the roof. He provided information on my vinyl siding as well. He took care of my roof in a totally professional manner and he was very polite.

Great service. After an initial approach didn't work as well as we hoped American Home Contractors came back out a second time at no charge to correct the issue and finish the job until all leaks were stopped. Each time they provided a detailed report, pictures, and recommendations.

Mike G. came at the scheduled date and time, was very friendly and professional and inspected the attic and roof for leaks. He also caulked and sealed leaks, etc. He did a great job and I would highly recommend this company. Thanks Mike!

The technician arrived on schedule and was very courteous. He inquired about the problem we were having and listened to our concerns about the roof. He advised me that American Contractors does not work on flat roofs. Since I did not know this I was extremely disappointed that I was not made aware of this and that he was not told he was coming to look at a flat roof. The technician realized that I was extremely dismayed and offered to go on the roof to see what condition the roof was in. After checking the roof, he agreed to make a small repair but advised me that the roof needs more extensive repairs by a flat roof specialist. I accepted his offer to help even though he admitted he was not a flat roof specialist. After he had completed the small repair, I paid the amount due and thanked him for his services and advice. The technician was what I would call "a nice guy", and I realized that it was not his fault he was not told that I had a flat roof! Obviously, the error was made at another level.

Asked for the gutter tune-up service, Marc provided excellent service and gutter advice, was out in the sweltering heat hammering our gutters back into shape. Gutters are much better, definitely recommend :D

Surprise to hear that , if how owner is not there they cannot even visit the house to provide estimate, even I have offered that my property management company can coordinate as this house is rental property and I love out of state. Response was: we are different company then other in market so we cannot come!

I called American Home Contractors out to repair a roof leak. Kyle and Dennis came out and not only did he fix my rook leak and checked all the roof area to make sure there was no other problem he noticed that my gutters need cleaning too on the front part of my house. Kyle and Dennis both were very professional and arrived on time. I would definitely hire them again.
