The entire experience went well. From the initial contact when I scheduled to the service to the actual day of service, everything went smoothly. I was able to get an appointment in a reasonable amount of time. On the day of service, Howard (the technician) showed up on time and worked efficiently and completed a thorough inspection, documenting and addressing the deficiencies he found.

Howard was prompt, very polite, and professional. He did a great job, complete with photos.

Steve arrived exactly on time. He was very pleasant and polite. Cleaned all of the gutters efficiently. Removed the debris. Inspected the gutters, roofing and fascia and took photos. Reviewed the photos of the gutter before and after the cleaning and showed areas of the fascia that needed replacement.

Professional installation, superior customer service by John Roda, look no further this is your best bet. Be sure to ask for John!

The company was courteous and responsive. Our tech, Howard, arrived right on time. He was also very polite and knowledgeable. Our roof is twelve years old, but the inspection showed it is in great shape. He touched up some of the areas where glue is applied at no extra charge and told me I would not need another inspection for another five years, barring damage to the roof. Good news, and a small price for peace of mind.

Chuck arrived right on time and was confident and professional. He worked effectively and efficiently, identifying issues with my roof and applying fixes where needed. The many pictures of before and after on his tablet illustrated the work done and helped me understand the possible source of the leaks I had. My only issue is that I called to make the appointment in late October and the appointment occurred in early January. All in all, however, I think it was worth the wait to have such a professional and assured job done.

This was the first time that I have used American Home Contractors and I was very pleased. I scheduled a Roof Tune-up for my 3-story townhouse. The technician manager Chuck came out to perform the tune-up. He arrived promptly as scheduled and was very friendly. After performing the tune-up, I was shown pictures of the roof and all of the items that were done (adding sealant to vent pipes, adding a new collar to one of the pipes (included in price), cleaning out dryer vent). Chuck was very thorough. This service was well worth the money and I would use them again for future needs.

Chuck arrived promptly and did a fantastic job. He inspected our attic area for signs of mold because of a previous roof leak in October. He then inspected our roof and caulked and added gaskets and did a good job on our roof. We were given pictures that he took of both our attic area and the roof and where he made repairs. We are very pleased.

Mike G did and excellent job. He was polite, professional, and performed excellent quality work in a timely manner.

First, there are a lot of dubious roofers out there. We wanted a GAF Roof System with a 50 Year Warranty. American Home Contractors was the only one that was Master Elite Certified by GAF to install a 50 Year Warranty roof in our area. A lot of roofers said that they were, only to find out by the regional GAF Representative, that they were intentionally/unintentionally misleading. It is conceivable that quite a few people out there think they have a warranty, that won't and will find out from GAF that the number one reason they don't is because their installer wasn't certified to do so. Stop right here. American Home Contractors is the one of the very few Master Elite Installer in area. Shaun coordinated our installation. He is the very best at what he does, which is answer your questions honestly and make every request that we made to the owner. From the very first meeting to the signing of the contract to the day of and after the installation, he patiently and promptly answered all of our questions and addressed all of our concerns. Most that we got estimates from focused exclusively on the shingles, but if you want your shingles to last more than a few years, you need adequate ventilation in your attic. Their was a small miscommunication about the day of the installation, but they more than made up for it. We have a very steep roof (11/12 pitch). The day of the installation, the Carlos and his crew put down tarps and thoroughly cleaned after each day. Because the roof was large and pitched, it took two full days and a few hours on the third. The second day was Thanksgiving. That is right, they came out on Thanksgiving to finish but were a few shingles shy of completion. These were Slateline GAF shingles. They are not on the shelves at your big boxes and have to be ordered. But Shaun and his supplier were able to find a pack locally and delivered on Saturday before a big storm was moving in. They crew showed up, finished installation, and we were sealed tight well before the rain started. Everyone was polite and professional. The financing could not be easier. I would not hesitate to do it again. Thankfully, because of the warranty, I won't have to. We have other exterior projects, and these guys have more than earned my loyalty. I will give them first option on those projects. They also have 0% financing for 18 months. This was the longest of all roofers we received estimates from. American Home Contractors is top notch, you absolutely will not be disappointed. A new roof is a major expense and a potentially stressful renovation, but these guys made it a minor hassle. I am sure that all of their staff are great, but ask for Shaun. Probably don't need to ask for him, he likely will be your guy and you are going to be very happy at how easy he and AHC make this for you. Best Regards!

old roof removed. Installed new felt, new flashing & shingles (IKO 50 year warranty). Inspected all roof decking. Removed ALL job-related debris. Crew arrived early, Materials arrived several days earlier. Crew worked efficiently and did an excellent clean up.

Sent message thru Angie’s list explaining what was being requested. No contact for over a week. Apologized stating was sent on a Sunday and was missed. The estimator contacted for time to complete estimate, was late however he did contact to explain and it was a Saturday morning which even with scheduled times, i would assume it is the busiest day of the week. Estimate seemed fair and reviewed vs other estimates. Contacted on 11-23-18 requesting contact to review and sign contract. To date, 12-09-18, not contact.

The weather interfered with the scheduling and no one called to‘s keep me in formed of scheduling of my job. The company charges to use a credit card which would have been convenient for me but I do understand cost to the company. I would hire them again. The work seen to done Correctly. A quality control by the project manager would be great but is time consuming. Also it’s goid CustomerService.

We were lucky enough to have Charles from AHC come to perform a gutter tuneup and cleaning. He was punctual, completely professional, and thorough. He found roof damage from a neighbor’s tree that we didn’t even know we had. When we needed a service call, Charles came back and took care of the problem.

We purchased a deal for a gutter inspection and tune-up and were extremely pleased in all regards. It was quick and easy to schedule the appointment, and the technician, Mike Giordano, called to let me know when he was 15 minutes away. He showed up right on time and was friendly and professional. He took lots of pictures and explained what he had done and offered suggestions for next steps. We will definitely use this company again in the future.

On Nov. 16, we confirmed an appointment with Megan to have "Will" come by our home on Nov. 17 at 10am to give us an estimate for a new roof. Megan had been very responsive to our call and requests and so we expected the same from Will. By 11am the following day, Will had still not arrived so we called to find out when he would be here. Megan said she would reach out to Will and he proceeded to call us 30 min later stating he was running late and he would be there between 12:30-1:30. By 1:45pm, after coming back home at 12:15, Will still had not arrived or contacted us. We reached out directly to Will who informed us that we didn't need to be there for him to give us an estimate and he would stop by later in the day. As you can guess, Will never arrived and I've never dealt with a more unprofessional company in my life. We emailed Megan explaining this and to no surprise, we never received an email back. I don't know how this company does business but I would never spend thousands of dollars and a new roof with a contractor who not only can't keep his appointments scheduled but shows little regard for his potential clients.

Excellent! Mike G. did a great job; he was very professional and courteous; he arrived on time, cleaned the gutters and made some minor repairs and showed me before and after pictures, great job! The rates were very reasonable; I would hire this company again.

I can't say enough about how wonderful these guys were. We were having a leak in our house and thought it was coming from the gutter. They figured out it was actually a gap in the caulking around the window frame. They fixed the gutter and the were able to fix the window -- saving us money and headaches. They were thorough and professional -- just the best!

In preparation for winter, I had my roof inspected by Steve if American Home Contractor. The service included photos of the roof which assisted Steve in identifying and explaining areas of concern and made it easy for me to comprehend his explanation. The service included before and after photos of the work performed. I recommend American Home Contractor for your roof tuneup, and I suggest you request the service be performed by Steve Lapp, He was very professional.

They came on time . Took off my old roof, put on my beautiful new roof and cleaned up everything. It looks beautiful. I am pleased and thankful for a great job !!!

We received a quote and given a two week timeframe for completion. We were looking to have the work done in short order because our house was on the market to sell, and American Home Contractors was made aware of this. When we called to follow up on the status of the work a week later, we were informed by S. Donovan that the work order had mistakenly not been placed and we were looking at a couple of months before the work could be completed. I requested a week to contact other companies to see about a quicker timeframe. When I followed up with American Home Contractors a week later, I was told that the quote I had initially received was no longer valid and was actually erroneous because S. Donovan did not provide an accurate quote for the proposed work. Needless to say, I was disappointed in the lack of customer service received by American Home Contractors. S. Donovan took no ownership of his errors and made no effort to rectify the mistakes. I would not recommend American Home Contractors.
