Description of Work: Howard, the technician performed a general roof inspection. Howard was outstanding. He inspected the attic from the inside as well as the external condition of the roof. He took pictures of some problem areas that we were not aware, made a few temporary but needed repairs and advised us on options for a permanent fix. I would not hesitate using American Home Contractors and Howard again.

Description of Work: Howard was on time and very friendly. He did a gutter tune-up and roof inspection. He spotted some minor issues on the roof and took care of them for me. Overall a pleasant experience.

Description of Work: They were slow to put the roof on, but they had a lot of business from the promotion. Roof seems to be fine, but I was surprised they found the FRT wood underneath to be in good condition and they did not replace any of it. The address of the company I used was in Laurel, Md. not Westminster.

Description of Work: service personnel called & came earlier than scheduled which was fine. he was courteous & competent. I knew my gutters were pretty clean but just wanted to make sure everything was in order. I thought he would need to use water to clean the debris (not only the leaves but the dirt collected in the gutters) but he said he won't do that. I wasn't given the before & after pictures as was stated in the work description. he was pleasant and if I needed any gutter work I might call again but I wouldn't pay the regular price (I paid the angies's discounted price) for the work that was done.

Description of Work: 9/5 ordered service online, 9/6 credit card charged, 9/7 email through Angie's List for more info to schedule install, 9/9 Company representatives visited and measured and contract was signed, 9/11 credit card paid, approx. one week later called and assured they were working the install date, 9/23 called and was returned by email said they were still working on date, 9/30 email sent but no response, 10/21 email and phone call with no response, 10/29 received email that person I was working with was released from company, 10/30 emails sent to other people in the previous email no response, 10/31 emails sent again no response, 11/2 called company and explained the problem tried emailing while they were on the phone no luck company said they would look into install date, 11/9 phone call from company to schedule install on 11/11, two company employees arrived and said they were here to do install which too about 2 hours and they left with no further communication, 11/30 phone call and email about the remainder of bill, 12/11 phone call about bill and 12/14 mailed remainder of bill. During this time I received 6 requests from Angie's List to evaluate this company but could not because the job was not complete. Good product and some good people but a very disorganized and unresponsive company to deal with and this was just a small job. Would probably not use them again.

Description of Work: Their representative showed up on time, checked out the roof and did some adjustments and caulking on the gutters and joints, and gave a good description of the roof condition. He even took some pictures from the roof, as I told him we were considering a rooftop deck. |Overall, very good service.

Description of Work: Did a very thorough job inspecting and tuning up the roof-- not clear we need a new one now, but I would definitely consider using them in the future.

Description of Work: Howard was great and did a good job. I made arrangements for a return visit to put invisible fasteners and was given a bill for $3.50. I mentioned that I had a "coupon " for approximately $200.00 and he said that this was for another service. Howard performed quality work but I won't use this company again.
