I purchased a roof inspection and tune-up through Angie’s list. I was contacted quickly to set up the appointment and provided a reminder. The technician was Jim L. who was great! He explained what he would do, then proceeded to inspect the attic and roof, making some repairs to the roof as necessary. When completed, we sat down to review pictures and discuss options. Jim L. explained things clearly but did not pressure us to do anything at this time. When the time comes to repair or replace the roof, we will definitely contact American Home Contractors! I was very pleased with my gutter cleaning service. I like the fact that Russel (Technician) took before and after photos of my gutters. He also cleaned up all the leaves that were removed from my gutters. He made a couple of suggestions but there was no strong push to sell me any other services. I would use this company again, based on my positive experience with this service.

My entire experience from arranging the service and the actual service being performed was professional and Customer service oriented. Howard (the technician) who performed the service was outstanding in his communication, explanations when answering questions and honesty. We are considering having some more work done, per the recommendations from this visit. Would recommend this company to others.

I have used American Home Contractors before and will continue in the future. The scheduling process is seamless and efficient. On the scheduled day Michael called when he was on his way and he was on time. He described what would be done and commenced. Micheal explained everything and showed before and after pictures. He took 15 minutes to clean up and actually left my deck neater than he met it. I have used AHC for a roof tune up and received the same quality work.

The gutter inspection went as exp[ected and the quality of inspection was acceptable. What I did not appreciate were the scare tactics \they engaged in to try to sell me a new roof. The inspector said to had to have a new roof immediately - like the very next day. I was initially alarmed, so I got a second opinion, only to find that my roof was perfectly fine. I resent these scare tactics that some contractors use to upsell higher priced products. But I learned a valuable lesson. I will never buy anything from a contractor who says that I need to do something “immediately.” And I will never buy anything from a company that engages in such tactics. I hired this company because they had an A rating on Angie’s List. But I will never hire them again.

Just had my roof and gutters replaced and I am happy with the service and quality. While net the cheapest, they did an outstanding job on both. While I am happy with the service, communication could have been better. I was not informed that the gutters and roof would be completed on different days until after I inquired about the gutters not being done. The gutter crew damaged the newly-replaced roof in a few places, but they came back out and fixed the issues after I pointed them out. The roofing crew was in and out the same day and did everything we agreed upon. I only had to wait about 4 days from when I received the quote and the day they completed the roof. Gutters were replaced a week later. The repairs were completed less than a week after I pointed out the issues. Overall I am happy with the service and would recommend to anyone.

Howard Shires came and cleaned out our long-neglected gutters. He took extra care to clean up afterward and did a really thorough and professional job. I was so pleased with the consideration he showed us and how quickly he worked and especially how much value we got for our money. I would definitely call them again!

I originally called for a gutter cleaning and tune up and was so impressed with the work, I scheduled a roof tune up a few days later. Their rep, Michael Shepke, went above and beyond what was required and did an excellent job. He took dozens of photographs, before and after, to illustrate what needed fixing and the work that was done. (The roof is 19 years old.) When it comes time to replace the roof, AHC will be on my short list to call.

The level of service was awesome! My Spouse purchased a roof tune up and i followed up with setting an appointment. American Home Contractors called within a week of my scheduled appointment as a reminder. When i called them back it was after office hours and on the weekend. I was advised as to who the technician was that was servicing my roof from Customer Service. The technician contacted me 5 minutes prior to our appointment time and arrived on time and ready to work. He explained what he was going to do and got to work. Upon completion, we sat down and reviewed the condition of the roof, damage repaired and its current and expected life. This professional service was provided by Russell Dobash. I would highly recommend Mr. Dobash for future services due to his skills, personality and efficiency in resolving my roofing concerns. The Technician Michael Shepke did an excellent job of informing me of my roofing issues with his professional opinion and with a variety of photos prior to actually performing the repairs. Mr. Shepke was very professional and did an excellent job explaining the services his company could provide as it relates to a roof tuneup. I highly recommend this company. Superb customer service!

Mike G. showed up at my home as scheduled. First he asked if I had any issues with the roof. I explained that I had a shingle in my yard from one of the recent storms. He first checked out my attic. He then got his ladder and inspected and fixed a loose shingle and resealed all areas. As it turned out, my neighbor was missing a couple of shingles - not my townhouse. When completed, Mike showed me pictures on his tablet of the attic and the roof including the work performed. He then emailed me the set of pictures. Great job !

The technician, Howard, arrived on time and was very informative. He cleaned the gutters and walked the roof and showed me pictures so that I could see the condition of everything. This really helped me understand what was happening and what needed to be done. He explained everything. Initially, I was disappointed that the inspection could not be done sooner and had to be scheduled for March. But I got a call about a cancellation and was able to move the date up. Once this service was done the office was also ready to schedule a full estimate for cost of roof repair, and they have Saturday hours! I'm pleased with the service and with the professionalism of and and the information provided by Howard.

Howard Shires has been our go to person for getting our gutters cleaned and checked annually for several years now and just had him swing by again today to do our annual cleaning/check up. He is always on time, clear about any issues/suggestions he may have, and has taken extra steps to ensure our gutters are in the best shape possible.
