They gave me a lot of information, but did not actually clean or repair my gutters. As a result, they refunded my money.

Everyone at AHC with whom I dealt was VERY professional. They called to schedule the service. Called to confirm. Our Technician, Marc Burkett, arrived on time and his work was thorough. He was most pleasant to deal with too. All-in-all it was a very positive experience.

It took awhile to get an appointment, and there was some initial confusion over what was purchased via Angie's list. Those relatively small issues aside, the people answering the phones were very professional and very helpful in working out the confusion. The repairman arrived early and did a very thorough and professional job.

He surveyed my area and provided a list of things to be done.

Our technician, Marc Burkett, was very helpful. He did a walk through with me and explained what would be done and provided before and after photographs of the gutters. The work was done quickly and efficiently. I'm very satisfied with the results. I would definitely use their services again.

The contractor was very prompt and professional. He explained everything he was going to do during his visit and checked in with each step. He explained everything in terms that I could understand. Was very honest regarding what needed immediate attention and what was good for future projects. He took pictures of all before and after work and explained everything he did and why. I was extremely pleased with all aspects of the experience. I will definitely be using them again for all my roofing needs.

Marc is a friendly person who clearly cares about his work. He arrived on time and carefully explained everything he was going to do as part of our roof tune-up. We were aware of some minor leaks in our roof so Marc started in the attic to assess the problem and determine the source. After completing the work, he explained each thing he did and why, even drawing a diagram for me to make something clear. He did a very thorough job! I asked for his advice on when we would need to replace our roof and he gave a well-reasoned answer without pushing his company's services. It is not everyday that you come upon someone who is not out to sell you something that you don't need. I will definitely be contacting American Home Contractors when it comes time for a new roof and asking for Marc, specifically. Marc is an awesome professional and I highly recommend this company!

As I said above, they will have to reschedule to finish up but the guy who came was great.

.Contractor called the night before to tell me the time the inspector would arrive. Contractor arrived on time. Looked at roof shingle I found in yard and assured me it was from the prior roof. Discussed with me the situation in the attic. Inspected the attic and found, as I suspected, the vent fan was no longer working. He explained why it was really not worth replacing. He also advised me to replace the attic light, which I will do. He took extensive photos, which he shared with me. Then he went outside and did complete roof inspection, replaced four floodlights that were very hard to reach. Again took extensive photos and discussed photos and aspects of the roof with me. Provided a detailed report which I signed and got a copy and gave me business card with contact information if I had any follow up question.

I purchased this Angie's list deal in mid October, They were able to get me on the schedule mid November. The employee who showed up was late and the job he preformed was mediocre at best, and left a mess of leaves and debris on my back deck. I called in a week after he was there when I noticed my gutters were not draining/ filling up. The person I spoke to was very friendly. She said she would get me back on the schedule. The earliest appointment was January 18th ( I first called in in October). The person came out and said that he would need another employee to help him but he would do what he could that day and then come back out. I have never heard back from them to finish a job I requested to be preformed 4 months ago. This deal was not worth the time or money.

Marc Burkett was our roof technician. Marc was thorough and very knowledgeable. Pictures were provided of before and after of included repairs and issues discovered. Marc kept us informed of what would occur during the tune up, made suggestions on how our roof could work more efficiently and explained everything in terms that I could easily understand. Overall a great experience that I would highly recommend.

Jeff was great. He listened to my concerns, checked both the attic and the loft over the extension, then checked each roof section. He resealed and renailed as he went over the roof. After he was done, he brought back pictures of all of the areas and talked through each one. For work that should be done that wasn't included in this deal he offered to write a proposal to complete it and left it with me. He also asked about additional services and I have an appointment set up for new doors to be estimated that I've been trying to get to.

It was great! They were here the next day. They were the nicest people. I am handicapped but they went up in the attic with my wife and explained everything to her. They were wonderful.

Everything from scheduling to actually getting the service with this company was great. The people I spoke to for scheduling were friendly, informative, easily accessible, and responded promptly to both emails and phone calls. Marc Burkett performed my gutter tune up and was equally professional, educational, and down to earth. He answered all my questions and explained things in a way I could understand. I felt I learned many things about my house from him that I didn't know before. Not only was he on time bright and early in the morning, but he also called before hand to tell me the exact time I could expect him to arrive. I would both recommend and hire this company again.

Marc Burkett, our roof technician, arrived earlier than the scheduled time. He reviewed his plan with me and then he scoped out the gutters and the roof. He then informed me of the current condition of my gutters and my roof. Then he got to work. The job was a little bigger than he had planned but he was able to adjust in order to get everything finished efficiently. He was very friendly and articulate. A real pleasure with whom to work.

Great. Extremely pleased with the service -- from making the appointment (I received a call promptly to schedule) through the end of the inspection/assistance. Howard (the roof technician) was great. Called to say he was running a little late (which was appreciated), did a good job explaining what he was going to do and when, was very thoughtful inside the house (put on slippers over his shoes), and was thorough. Really appreciated the fact that it wasn't about selling me something -- it was a very thoughtful explanation of what he saw -- what it might mean, what he didn't see, what I should consider, what I should look for in the future, recommendations on what I could do, and good explanations of things (why the gutter guard I had used was generating problems). Job well done! High recommendation that others use this company in the future. And thanks to Howard for helping me learn about my roof and gutters.

Howard was very professional and let me know what was going on and steps I could take to fix my problems with some options, I would rate him an a plus

Marc, explained everything he was doing. He replaced a number of shingles, I think about 8. He also checked that the gutters were secured to the house. He found a 2' by 2' area on the garage roof that had some deviation. He did an excellent job.

Howard Shires from American Home Contractors came to my home to perform the attic inspection, insulation and ventilation analysis today. He arrived on time and he did not rush through the job. He took several pictures inside the attic and discussed his findings with me. He answered my questions and showed me areas of concern. He also went up on the roof and did an inspection there after noticing a leak inside the attic. He looked at the gutters and did a small repair on them while he was there. I appreciated that since he did not have to do it. I received an Inspection Report from him after he was done giving a rating of the condition of the attic, roof and gutters.

They did a really great job. The gutters look great. They were very professional. I would use them again.

Howard from American Home Contractors completed an attic inspection on our older home. He answered all of my questions and provided helpful recommendations. He explained the minor issues in an understandable way and provided helpful recommendations for solving the minor issues. Howard is very knowledgeable, and I feel confident in relying on his advice.

Superior job at a reasonable cost.Work was accomplished on time.Provide only what was needed, did not try to sell unnecessary extras.Dan,our contact ,was very knowledgeable and totally explained what would be done and how the roof would have the latest technology and how the new roof would comply with the current building code. This firm is well manage and organized and lives up to it promises. I would use them again if I do further home improvements.

Excellent job, detailed inspection and all of the issues were explained clearly with honest recommendation. I would certainly use and recommend them for new jobs.
