They did a great job. When I thought there was a problem with the humidistat, they return and replaced it and tested the system to ensure it was working properly. Great Job!

The technician came out and they were unable to install the humidifier. I requested a refunded for the coupon. The technician was nice to work with.

They showed up late due to a traffic accident but they had called and asked if I wanted to rescedule or wait for him. I waited and he showed up within an hour of his time. He scoped out the job and gave talked through what he was going to do and then he started working. He got the job done, showed me how to use it and cleaned up and left. He was very friendly.

Very well - overall a very positive experience

Tri-State solved our problem -- professionally and economically. The technician was excellent, answering all my annoying "Harry-Homeowner" questions politely and completely. He was on time and tidy. A month later, we are completely satisfied.

Purchases Angie's List to have a whole house humidifier installed. The entire process went very well. Everyone I talked to was very professional and friendly. The gentleman installing the system did an excellent job. He did not rush through the job, but instead made sure everything was installed the right way. I'm very happy with the humidifier and would definitely use them again.

Work occurred in phases. I was concerned that there would be damage to the walls and/or floors, but in the end we were very pleased.

At 10:30AM today I called Tri-State to schedule service on my heat pump, which had stopped working a few days ago. They had a technician at my door at 12:15PM, which was at the beginning of the timeframe that they reported he would arrive. The technician was very knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. He also recommended some other services that I may need to do in the near future on my water heater. The heat pump was repaired in right around an hour. All in all, very impressed by the service, and I intend on using Tri-State again in the future!

Overall the experience with Tri-State was very positive, and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone. Because I have a steam system installation was quite difficult and it was hard finding anyone who was willing/able to complete the job. Not only were they able to do it, but they did it professionally, quickly, and inexpensively. They were in and out in only a couple days on what was a pretty complex job (removal of old, enormous boiler, steam fittings, etc.) and after a year the system is still performing well with no issues. I waited to submit this review because I wanted to see if there would be a need to use the warranty, and therefore their service department. There was a small issue with a leaky gasket on the oil filter, but it was simple and painless to use the warranty. The service man fixed the problem with no charge, and threw in a new filter. I don't mean this review to be overly positive, but I wanted to convey accurately the positive experience I had.

The technician showed up on time. He did a complete check up of the furnace and walked me through everything he did. He answered lost of questions with no hesitation and made a few suggestions which was gladly appreciated.

Technician came promptly and quickly repaired the unit by installing a fuse. The bill for 1/2 hour labor at our home and the fuse was almost $220. House call costs aside--all a/c repairs necessarily have to be house calls--that seems like a lot! Be certain to get a firm estimate in advance before committing to a service call by Tri-State.

After obtaining several estimates for a new A/C and furnace for my townhome, I chose to go with Tri-State Services, not only because of the pricing, but also because of the professionalism and thoroughness of the gentleman who came out to give me the estimate. He went above and beyond, answering all my questions and even taking the time to check the attic after my complaints of the upper level of the townhouse alwasys staying so warm in the summer. He found a duct that wasn't insultated and we added that to the list of things the company would do for me while installing the A/C/furnace. He also noticed that several areas of the attic floor were not insulated and recommended I get that taken care of. The two gentleman who came to install the A/C/furnace were also stellar! Both of them were professional, competent and very helpful in answer my questions about the new system. I had purchased some insulation for the attic floor and one of the guys offered to cut it up and place it for me. They even finished a good two hours before their estimated time! I will be purchasing a yearly maintenance agreement with this company to keep my new A/C/furnace running well, and would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone with A/C or furnace issues. Go with this company and you will not be disappointed!

Our entire experience with Tri-State has been above our expectations. Their representative, Ken, came to our on time and didn't give us a 4-hour window like the other companies we spoke with. He gave us a business card and a brochure about Tri-State. The installers - Mark and Shawn - were equally professional and approachable. I contacted two companies from Angie's List - Tri-State and another company. I haven't even received an acknowlegement that the other company received my inquiry! Ican't say enough good things about this company.

The end of May Dale visited , evaluated, and estimated our home for a replacement system. He was not in a hurry and answered every question we had concerning installation, recommended brands, and time tables. He walked us through our decisions concerning additional venting, duct work, and financing. Later in the week, he brought Travis (installation supervisor) out to the house to review the project and tighten up the details on the installation. We were also able to share our concerns (since we have a somewhat cluttered basement) . Day one a work crew showed up promptly at 8 am, five or six men, very organized and went straight to work. I think they wrapped up at 4pm. Clean up after themselves and said their goodbyes. Day two a smaller crew,(duct work crew), showed up again right at 8am and went straight to work. It seemed that they were always working, maybe one break......My kids were amazed thinking they never eat or use rest room. Day two was over and they said their goodbyes. They let us know that the third day. there would only be one serviceman back out to complete the furnace. Day three was very quiet. He arrived on time and went straight to work hooking up the propane lines to the furnace. setting up the gauges, and everything necessary to put the furnace in operating condition. One part was malfunctioning, not letting the propane through, not regulating it properly. He hasn't been back out. I believe the intervening heat wave has kept the company very busy. We will be working with another part of the company to resolve the difficulty with the second story rooms. They are still much warmer than the rest of the house and may require additional adjustment in the attic with insulation and venting issues.

They came out quickly but it was not repaired the first two times. Each time they came, they came before they said they would. They were prompt but it was frustrating that they had to come three times to make sure it working properly. The last person to come out checked everything thoroughly so we will hopefully not have this problem again.

They arriced when they said they would and did the job in one day. They did a good job with the installation, they cleaned up after themselves, and were friendly and knowledgeable. We would recommend them, but when they were here they noticed that the flu they were going to attach the new furnace to needed a replacement part. They put the new part in, but I noticed that it's corroding. I sent them an email on two separate occasions, but they have not replied or sent anyone out to look at the part. We also had to call them back because of two things that were overlooked. On that occasion, they came out right away and fixed both issues that were overlooked. They also did not try to charge us any extra for the repairs.

I am delighted at the speed and efficiency that I experienced with Tri-State, starting with the customer service rep who went the extra mile to keep me informed, but even more so with the knowledgable service technician who spotted the problem in an instant, and made the repair on the spot. I highly recommend Tri-State for oil furnace repair work, and plan to use them again. It's great to have heat!

The checkup on our system went smoothly and no problems were found. In addition to replacing the humidfier filter he oiled the fan, which I noticed had gotten noisy lately. In addition, I asked the technician for his advice on some questions relating to the equipment . He took the time to answer all my questions.

Their service was excellent. The estimator came and gave us a quote and he was very honest about everything. We had several contractors to compare with and their quote was about $2000 cheaper than the other quote I got. He gave us a proposal and emailed it to me. They gave me the exact model number I was supposed to get unlike the other company. I appreciated that honest and the estimator was professional. I can’t complain. I am very happy to have found them on Angie’s list. We got the top model with the heat pump. They have a newly set helpline which I can call during emergencies. The furnace had completely gone out and I called them. I called them for two days and could not get through. I then got them later and they said that it was a newly set number and they were not there in the office.
