Description of Work: Excellent customer service from phone call all the way through servicing my A/C unit. Despite the fact that I was 15 min late in getting to the house, James jumped in and quickly took care of the repair. Cool air again on a 110 deg day. Nice!!!

Description of Work: I called them because our upstairs air conditioning wasn't working. They came out the next day. Dominic was awesome and basically our unit needs to be replaced. The downstairs unit was fine. I had asked about their HVAC Service Agreement and signed up for this service I am that happy with this company. He also inspected our furnace, we have gas and found some cracks in our system! They will be coming back to fix that for us. We had used Re-Max when we bought this house and I basically fired them as every single time they came out, something was wrong and needed fixed and then our unit wouldn't work. We found out that they were basically replacing parts with the wrong size for our units after getting a second opinion the last time they were here. Because of this, we are very careful and the reason we joined Angie's List.

Description of Work: The scheduling process was pleasant. The main office contacts were very personable and helped to answer any questions I had regarding the installation process and timing. The installer was friendly and informative. He explained to me that due to the configuration of my furnace, we would not be able to use the humidifier that was part of the Angie's List deal. If we were to try to make it work, there would be quite a bit of additional work (and cost) needed, including splicing into a drainage pipe and installing some other necessary equipment. He provided me with a reasonable quote for the additional work, but the entire project cost wasn't much of a value at this point anymore. The installer did give my furnace an inspection and pointed out a part that could fail soon. He is looking into getting me a quote for that work, as well. Otherwise, the furnace was still in good shape. Bottom Line: I would feel comfortable using Tri-State again should I need furnace work, but unfortunately, this particular Big Deal didn't work out for me. No fault of theirs.

Description of Work: The company came to my home to install the humidifier. It was determined that the area for installation was not adequate. They offered suggestions for working around the problem.

Description of Work: Waking up at 2AM in the morning, 78 degrees, burning up. Get up, check the thermometer showing 78 degrees and set on 72. This is not a good start! Go down stairs check the breakers, Okay. Check for flipped switches, okay. Now the pain in finding a reliable, good, honest contractor. (Ding) Angies List! Looked up Tri-State, had good feed back, had a coupon. Called at 7:45, sceduled the appointment for the same day, (Thank God) They arrived and I was not home. My Wife was a little nervous till she met the repair man. She said he was very clean cut well spoken Gentleman, he was totally professional, and did an excellent Job. I will recomend this company to anyone I know that needs an AC/HVAC company. Thanks alot!
