I was very pleased with Frederick Roto Rooter and Mike Mitchell. I booked the service through the Hagerstown office and the service there was also polite and efficient. For plugs in main sewer lines I would recommend calling Roto Rooter first and asking for Mike. He got the job done quickly, he will shoot straight on the service you need, and the price was reasonable.
Description of Work: Same story as previous review. Mike Mitchell cleared a main sewer line between our house and the street that another plumber snaked for three hours without success. The other guy charged me 10% more for failing than Mike charged for doing it the right way. Plug was about 65 feet down the line from the clean out port on the house side. Mike cleared it on the first pass with a 140 foot power snake with a beefy cutting head. The entire job was done in less than an hour. Mike replaced the brass caps on the clean out ports that the other plumber broke and left open.

Mike Mitchell, the Rotor-rooter service tech, showed up on time, was extremely knowledgeable and was willing to share what he knew. He was courteous, professional and tidy. The rotor-rooter equipment he used looked a bit flimsy after the industrial strength failure from the day before, but Mike went to work and the patented Roto-rooter equipment chewed through the clog in no time! Who would have thought? Mike gave me a lot of basic tips including the dangers of grease, Charmin Ultra and "flushable" wipes. The sewer installation is complex with an insulated bridge carrying the sewer line over a drainage ditch. He had good suggestions as to what changes to the bridge were needed to prevent a reoccurrence of the clog. I highly recommend Mike Mitchell and Roto-rooter of Frederick MD. Good price, good service and best of all, SUCCESS.
Description of Work: Roto-rooter was my second attempt after a local plumber took my $360 and failed to clear the clog about 70 feet down the line with his fancy industrial strength appearing equipment. My $360 made it down the sewer ok, but that was the only thing that did. By then it was pretty near the end of the work day. The failed plumber slunk away and I called Roto-rooter. They responded first thing the next morning and cleared the clog easily for $230.
