Rollins Repair

Our existing generator died. James diagnosed the problem and gave us a few options to repair or replace it. We chose to replace it. James handled everything, from getting and installing the new generator to electrical and fuel (propane) connections. We have asked him to schedule us for the annual maintenance on the machine. We are pleased, though we haven't lost power since it was installed, LOL.

James zRollins owner, proprietor personally called me to discuss symptoms and discuss what might be at fault scopes of work to repair most probable cause and approximate prices for different scenarios due to the weight of the just under 1000 ponds he suggested that he would come pick it up and take it to his repair shop Service! I was pleasantly surprised to get a call within 96 hours to tell me the unit was repaired and he arranged when he might be able to return it! Mr Rollins is a pleasure to deal with obviously knowledgeable about his field and honest forthright gentleman to deal with Can’t reccomend him any higher altlthough I wish I could have given 10 stars!

Mr. James Rollins was exceptional. Had an issue that came up last year with my Generac generator and he was quick to respond but I was not able to be as fast. Power came back on so I didn't follow up. Generator hasn't worked and was worried about a power outage, so I reached back out. He came out on the same day, diagnosed my issue in a minute, and fixed it. His work was outstanding and I can understand why he is so busy. Everyone wants Rollins Repair. If you can get him, I would ask James Rollins to help you.

Mr. Rollins was very knowledgeable and willing to help in anyway he could. Made sure our generator was working like new when returned to us. Gave us pointers on care of generator to keep it running and be reliable.

Mr. Rollins was available on short notice to perform a tune-up of my Generac generator. (This included change of oil and filter, air filter and spark plugs, plus general system check.) I found his pricing to be significantly lower than what larger, chain-type service providers had quoted, yet he is certified to service Generac generators. Mr. Rollins also spent time discussing generator service and maintenance issues with me after he completed the tune-up. I found him to be a very friendly person as well, and I really like being able to support a small business owner.

He found an electrical problem that Potomac Edison arrived to do a emergency repair. It was a fire hazard. So thankful he found the problem and did an excellent install with our Generator.

When warning lights appeared on our General generator we called the man who installed - he never returned the call. We called Michael and Son, paid for the generator maintenance plan, and while someone came to look at the unit, no one ever got back to us about what needed to be done to get the generator working again. We called the generator division and the main offices of Michael and Son and still never received a call, let alone a solution to the problem. In desperation, I searched the web for someone with experience in Generac generators and found Rollins Repair. Within an hour, Mr. Rollins returned my call and came to the house that evening, even though it was quite a long trip for him. Mr. Rollins made a couple of trips back over the next few days, trying to diagnose the problem. Finally he took the unit with him, and after trying to repair it, he dealt with Generac and the warranty and got us a new unit for less than I expected a repair to cost. Mr. Rollins could not have been more professional and persistent. He kept us informed every step of the way. He spent hours in work and travel time, and we are thrilled with the new unit which works beautifully. My husband and I give him the highest possible rating, and look forward to working with him for a long time to come.
