Description of Work: I used Pet and Home Care to stay with my 2 dogs while on vacation over the holidays. The house/dog sitter knew my dogs because she comes when I need cover during the week occasionally. Description of Work: We used Pet and Home Care becase we thought it would be great to have dog walking services and housecleaning services by someone who was accustomed to dogs. They housecleaning services were great, Herminia was wonderful and did a great job. The dog walking services were not professional. You can select different levels of services from a let-out to a long walk. Frequently when we paid for a long walk for our high-strung weimaraner he would only get a let-out in the backyard or only go once around the culdesac. When we addressed this, the company told us they discussed with the walkers but we did not see any changes. We decided not to use them any more because we didn't feel we were getting what we paid for on the dogwalking services, and we didn't think the housekeepers were being paid enough by the company.

Description of Work: I used their service for 8 or more years when I lived and worked in the DC/MD/VA area. Their services were reliable, professional, and flexible in a pinch. The staff was patient,caring, knowledgeable and well trained. They were always able to match their staff very well with the finicky Chows I had over the years. They won the trust of my Chows (when they were young adults and through one's senior years) and that meant everything to me! I highly recommend them!! They would be my first choice if I moved to another area they serviced! (Their flat fees are also a plus - similar services in Raleigh NC charge additional fees for gas, travel and add on services per visit.)
