Very professional and prompt technicians. End result well worth the money because this is a 1930s home and these were original cast iron tub and sinks. Be aware that chemicals are used and there will be fume fro several hours. Necessary to prepare the surface.

Very good -- Pink and yellowish Tiles turned to a glossy white and 50+ year old wall tiles and tubs look brand new. Only took 2.25 days for the more extensive job and 1 day for the smaller. $ 2400 for larger, $1250 for smaller. Great finish -- no mold ever from now on. Raised the value of the house quickly.

The tech dropped his paint cam and it splattered on a few already finished areas so he had to come back the next day. Also the smell was much worse than anticipated. Couldn’t stay in the house with my 3 young children since the bathroom was near our bedrooms.

I was extremely pleased with Mirakle Method. Customer service was excellent. Estimator arrived on time. Contacts with office staff were all helpful. Workman arrived on time, was very courteous, very careful with covering all surfaces not being treated, and did meticulous work. The result was exactly as I had hoped. I paid $1800, many many thousands less than installing new tiles and bathtub. The company is not able to resurface toilets, so to get rid of my matching green toilet I did have to buy a new, white toilet. The company has shades of white available which match either the Standard company or the Kohler company toilets. I wanted an even whiter shade of white, which is also available, called Gloss White.
Description of Work: I have a large bathroom that had several walls of outdated green tiling and a matching green bathtub. I wanted all the green to be transformed to white.

We used Miracle Method to renovate our bathroom. All the wall board was replaced round the bath, concrete board and a vapor barrier was installed. New tile was installed. The floor tile was removed and the sub flooring was replaced. New floor tile was installed. Everything was kept clean. The estimate was dead on. The workmanship is excellent. The cost very reasonable. They suggested some changes that we gladly implemented. The business owner, Mary Ann O’Hara came and reviewed the progress and ongoing work. We are very pleased. I would recommend Miracle Method to anyone.

From the start the staff is very courteous and really tries there best to work around your schedule. I set up the estimate around my wife's schedule because well she will be the one making the decisions on color and what not. Sales rep Nick was very punctual he gave us a a call prior the appointment time just like they had promised and so did the tech when it was time for our project to get done. I had called other companies to shop around but one of the other companies did not even make it out to our estimate , and another company did not even have no time to give me an estimate in a timely manner. That is why I chose Miracle Method. The work is AMAZING and the cost is way much lower than doing a demo. I will definitely recommend this company to all my friends and family. they do an amazing job office staff and technicians very professional .

In the spring of 2016 we inquired about the “Miracle Method” refinishing technique and its cost for refinishing a standard small shower. At the time we were also considering replacing the existing fiberglass enclosure with a tiled one. We were given a price for the work over the phone, but I asked for a representative to come out to look at and estimate the actual job because I wanted to personally talk to someone familiar with the procedure so I could get insight on what to expect during the treatment and what the quality of the refinished shower would look like. Early in May, a representative arrived at the appointed hour and we discussed the job. Long ago in another house we had two porcelain bathtubs refinished using the “Porcelite” method. This process proved entirely satisfactory with the exception that it eventually peeled along the junction of the recessed fixed tub drain and the old porcelain surface. The finish, though less durable, itself closely simulated the original surface and did not look obviously “refinished.” The representative assured me that “Miracle Method” would produce a surface similar to “Porcelite” and would look like the original fiberglass finish. He also said that it would not result in peeling at the drain. It would, in short, “look and feel like new,” as Miracle Method's advertising literature states. He also explained to me the steps involved and the color choices available. He did caution me that that leaving water standing, or worse, soapy water, on the surface would eroded the surface, and that the new surface needed to be cleaned and maintained in a prescribed manner to maintain its look. After receiving these assurances, I contracted to have the shower refinished. The technician arrived promptly at 8 AM to do the work on May 9. I checked in with him periodically during the procedure to see how he was progressing, and to ask questions, but I avoided the area as much as possible because the smell of the products being applied was absolutely obnoxious and certainly hazardous when applied in an area with inadequate ventilation. The bathroom being refinished has no window and the ceiling exhaust couldn't clear the fumes. Even the exhaust fan he set up and vented to a distant door did little to mitigate the stench which spread to the entire house. The technician finished his work about 2 PM. At that time I examined the work visually, as it could not be touched, and noted that it looked very grainy and that its reflectivity varied considerably. I asked him about this then and there, and he said that when it cured it would even out. After the minimum prescribed curing time, I examined the finish again. I found that it still looked exactly the way it did when it had been just finished. It was grainy, dull in some places, glossy in others. To the touch it was rough in the dull areas; nothing like the feel or look of the original fiberglass finish. I left a message with Miracle Method's representative to call me in regard to the job. When he called, I stated my concerns about the appearance of the job and asked him to come out and have a look at it to see if it had been applied correctly. The material continued to smell strongly day after day and could not be abated by the ceiling fan vent. It was cold and rainy for days, and there was no practical way to vent it to the outside, causing a restriction in the use of the adjoining rooms. When the representative arrived to look at the work, I let him do so without comment. He volunteered that something must have been wrong with the spray gun and then he pointed out an area on the outer edge of the enclosure that was very glossy as an example of what the finish should look like. I also pointed out a number of small “bumps” on the floor, one “drip” where the material sagged before drying and the general inconsistency, roughness of feel and graininess of the surface. He agreed to have a technician return to buff down the first application and recoat it. He said he would call to schedule the work to be done, but when he didn't for several days, I called and left a message that either May 24 or 26 would be best. We had to go on a short trip and could not work it in earlier. I also suggested in the left message that because the first technician had only been doing this work for three months, perhaps he should assign someone more experienced to do the follow up work. Eventually, the office called and scheduled the work for May 24. When we arrived back home on May 22, the treated area still smelled of the noxious chemical treatment, and I wasn't looking forward to renewing it. However, a second technician arrived on May 24 at about 7:45 AM. Before he began, I pointed out the “bumps” on the floor of the shower and what I considered other defects of the finish and asked him to make an effort to get off some of the coating spray that had accidentally landed on the ceramic tile floor during the first treatment while he was at it. Unlike the representative or the first technician, this technician said that it was normal for the finish to be “grainy” looking, even though I pointed out the place the representative said was what it should look like. At about 8:45 he called upstairs to say he was finished and, unlike the first technician, he said that the finish would look just the same as it did at that moment as when it cured. I did not watch what he did, but he apparently rubbed the old finish down with some sort of solvent and reapplied more of the finish coat. I don't believe he “buffed” anything, as I was told to expect. In the process, although the new coating somewhat improved the appearance and feel of the first attempt, none of the problems noted by me and verified by the inspection of Miracle Method's representative after the initial procedure as not standard were completely rectified. There are still a number of small inclusions on the floor of the shower, an uneven reflective surface and grainy look and feel to parts of the finish, and the overspray on the tile floor is still there. Additionally, the second coating noticeably sagged in places where too much of it was applied, something you would never see on an original fiberglass or acrylic finish. I had to run a window fan to vent the area, but the noxious smell of the chemicals used was still very evident more than a two weeks later. Therefore, I personally consider this result as unsatisfactory. From an aesthetic point of view, except for the small chips and a hairline crack that were repaired before refinishing, the shower looks worse than before treatment. Although the finish applied must certainly be more durable, it looks as if it were spray painted from a can. It certainly does not meet the promise of looking and feeling new. From this one experience I have to conclude that either Miracle Method's claims for their product are inaccurate or that their technicians are not competent to apply it in the manner that would make them accurate. As a result, I am faced with either living with it as is, or ripping out the entire enclosure and replacing it with a new shower, something Miracle Method's literature touts its process as saving the homeowner the trouble and expense of doing. We recently had an identical shower removed and replaced with a tiled one, so we can make a comparison of the two results. Although far more expensive, the removal of the shower proved a less messy and inconvenient job than Miracle Method's attempted refinishing, and it didn't leave an obnoxious odor that promises to linger until I have the treated one removed from the premises. Additionally, I won't have to “baby” the surface of the new shower the way Miracle Method's representative instructed it must be treated to maintain it, and the tiled shower has probably added something to the resale value of the house. The “Miracle Method” added nothing but the added expense of the refinishing to the amount I will eventually have to pay if I decide to replace its unsatisfactory work. I want you to know I would not recommend “Miracle Method” to anyone. As practiced by their Frederick, MD franchise, it is not worth the inconvenience nor the expense, as the result, and no matter its alleged extension of the usefulness of the fixtures, it looks like an amateur spray paint job. Just on the basis of the toxic chemicals used, I could not recommend it to anyone who still has intact sense of smell, alone.

Work was done well. Worker explained things to us clearly. He was professional and friendly. The only thing that could have gone better is that the project manager was a bit unclear about the different options for the work and additional charges. Nicki came out to our house on Wednesday, March 11 and we decided on two surfaces to be finished. They had an opening on Friday so we arranged to have it done. It involved removing everything from the counters. Two workers came in that morning and covered everything with sheets of plastic - the preparation took several hours. Another person came that afternoon to spray on two coats of their product. Another person was supposed to come in after that to spray on the sealer, but could not come that evening. He came the next day to put on the final coat. It was probably a good thing to let the spray dry overnight even though it's supposed to be done in one day. Anyone planning to use this method to refinish should be made aware that the odor of the final coat is very strong. Even with the exhaust fans, someone sensitive to the odor should not be in the house for a while. We were told to give the top coat about 48 hours to dry. To be safe. we allowed almost 3 days. So far, the finish has held up just fine and we are very pleased with the look and feel of the surface.

The representatives that I talked with were very courteous and professional. They suggested the most cost-effective way for my bathroom tiles over the tub to be refurbished rather than replaced. The service people who did the work were punctual, did excellent work, and cleaned up so well after themselves that the only way one would know that they had been there was that the bathroom tub and tiles looked like new.

The man who came out to give me the estimate was very nice. They do offer discounts for multiple "surfaces", which was helpful. I appreciated that nobody bugged me for a decision. I think I had one follow-up call from the office, but that was it. The men who did the work were pleasant and efficient. They were done quickly and the tubs looked great! They made sure to review the care instructions with me before they left. The only thing I wasn't delighted with was that there were tiny grains in the new surface, but I thought that must be some residual "non-slip coating" left in the spraying equipment. I asked to not have the coating, but figured they use the same sprayers for people who do want it. Unfortunately, in January I found the coating beginning to peel off around the drain cover of my most-used tub. I called and they offered to have someone come out the next day, but I wasn't available then. The office rep said they would prefer to set the work up when they would already be in my area on a job, so she would call me when there was an opening. I haven't heard back from her, but I'm assuming that it's a combination of the weather and forgetting about me. I don't get upset over things like that, because I can always call them when it's convenient for me (and nobody's perfect). So right now, it isn't a problem and I hope it doesn't become one in the future. I won't find that out until we get together about the repair. After that, I'll update my review.

Miracle Method put a gloss white finish over my basement bathroom tub and tile. I was tired of always needing to clean and repair grout that had never been sealed properly and caulk that always got mildewed because it wasn't used as often as upstairs but also wasn't dried properly after each shower. The technician was prompt and sealed off the entire area so that the only thing we noticed was an inoffensive odor. Everything was cleaned up completely when the technician was finished. It dried and was ready to use in 24 hours. | We were very pleased with the results for the price--especially compared to what it would have cost to replace the tub and tile with a tub surround. I was a little surprised that he was going to caulk where the tile met the tub, and I asked him not to. He said that with settling, sometimes there can be some cracking there, but I would rather caulk myself it that happens. Also, I would rather the coating on the grout areas were thicker, but it is holding up fine, and this is a shower that doesn't get as much use as the others in the house.

Contractor came in and performed the work as requested as part of a larger project. Services were warranted for 5 years. We have noticed some cracking and when we called to discuss the situation with the contractor they have ignored our calls. My wife and I have called 4 times and have not received a callback after leaving home, work and cell numbers with the receptionist. Ryan, the manager, seems to never be in and he has yet to return our calls. We are very disappointed in this as it is very unprofessional.

It did work really fine. Carlos was very nice to have in my home. He was very professional and punctual. It was just completed now and we haven't really gotten into using it. I made a color change in the middle of everything and they picked just as easy as anything. They already ordered the paint and they made the color change without a question or delay in the application so I would say that they are very much customer oriented. The job looks beautiful. Let's see in terms of durability but I'm very pleased and everyone who has seen it saw the transformation in the area that was done. The fact that it's guaranteed, the process has been placed for many, many years. It's not like kind of a new thing. They've got a methodology down and it's been working for several decades. It was the best choice to try to get it done with and they definitely came through with this particular franchise and how they approach the business so I'm pleased with it so far.

A great and very professional experience. Ryan was prompt at returning my call, and was able to come give me an estimate the next day. A quick walkthrough, discussion, and explanation of the process, and I settled on their work. The workers arrived exactly when they said they would and got to it. They actually finished a little early. My 30 year old bathrooms look new again. The change is remarkable! And the cleanup was great. Quality was only listed as a B because some of the paint came off of the bathroom drywall during the finishing process. In their defense, they explained to me that that was a possibility, but I guess I wasn't expecting it to be as much as it was (which was still not a lot). A paint can, a foam brush, and a few touch-ups in each bathroom later, everything looks good as new.
