Description of Work: Bamboo hardwood flooring was installed in our master bedroom and sitting room. The estimator did not show up when he said he would and did not call us to let us know he was sick at the time. We called him and he apologized and rescheduled for that Saturday. We were okay with the estimate but did not get an estimate for the install just material. That added 1600. 00 to the total cost. But when it came to the install they did a great job. The installers showed up on time and did a great job. We are very happy with the the end results. Even though we had some miss steps in the beginning, we would return to them.

I spent about $3000. The actual installation was done by a contractor and he did a great job. Lumber Liquidators were fairly helpful. I would recommend their product. However, I would suggest others to investigate their actual installation policies beforehand. They messed up with the original quote. When the installation team arrived, there were some things that were missing from the original quote. So, our installation time was set back and we had to wait for the correct product to arrive. The price was fair.
Description of Work: Lumber Liquidators installed the hardwood flooring for us about three months ago.

We purchased wood from this store and used their contractor to estimate the square footage of the room. During installation we discovered that not enough wood was ordered. I contacted the store explained the situation fully expecting that I would need to buy an entire box of wood even though I only needed a portion of a box to finish the job. When the store manager, Michael, said he had an open box of the wood we needed and could sell us just what we needed I was pleasantly surprised. That all changed the next morning when Michael greeted me at the store with unprovoked hostility. He announced immediately that I should expect to order a new box, but that he was "doing me a favor" by giving me a discounted box. He pointed to a stack of boxes, some in pretty bad condition, sitting outside in the wet weather. He provided no assistance as I attempted to examine the boxes which were stacked about five feet high. Every question was met with hostility. The manager repeated that he was "doing me a favor by selling me this wood at a discount." I decided to buy because another employees said he had examined one of the completely sealed boxes the previous day and found it complete and without damage. I was offered the box at a discount of about $45 and required to sign a waiver of warranty. The manager would not even answer my questions about the waiver. At home, we found that the box was not in fact completely filled and a many pieces were damaged. As it turned out, I paid more for the wood I got then I would have if I had ordered a new box. I remain stunned by the manager's hostile and arrogant attitude. He clearly intended to get rid of the damaged wood using this tactic. I only wanted to get the job done as soon as possible. I will, of course, never do business with this store again and with so many other options, cannot imagine doing business with this chain again. This man did not do me a favor. He got rid of a box of wood that he could not have sold for full price but for the $99 he made in the deal, he left in his wake, one less customer for the chain.
