Long Electric was a pleasure to deal with and were very very professional. Their electricians were knowledgeable and very customer oriented, along with being cordial. The office staff was a pleasure and very helpful in answering questions and keeping us informed. Anyone needing a generator would be remiss not hiring Long.

Long Electric was a real pleasure to work with. Tom Denell in particular is a veritable encyclopedia about generators and went out of his way to be helpful throughout this process, including making several visits to my house to answer the numerous questions I threw at him. They arrived at work on time and worked very efficiently to complete the project. When they needed to return the next day to complete the project to accommodate the schedule of Washington Gas, they showed up promptly the next morning as promised. They explained the operation of the generator in detail and left the job site in immaculate condition. I especially appreciated that they accommodated my scheduling needs. Tom is a real professional and I appreciated the level of perfectionism he and his staff devoted to this job.

Long Electric was very efficient and punctual from the time we went over the project to have backup generator installed including some additional custom work. The whole team was a pleasure to work with and their professional approach to everything from prompt communication through the installation process to completing the work was phenomenal to say the least. Before the installation we were concerned about how it would look with all the exposed electrical wiring and plumbing. But they listened to our concerns and suggested ways to complete the installation to put our concerns at ease. The installation turned out great and we are so happy we went with Long Electric.

After reaching out and getting presentations and quotes from several other vendors, Long Electric by far was the most conscientious and comprehensive. The office manager Melissa shepherded me through the entire project and made sure all the county inspections happened in an orderly way. I managed this project in Baltimore County while living in Chicago. Long Electric made me feel comfortable from beginning to end. They are top shelf.

We updated our 15K, partial house generator to a 24K whole house generator in July 2022. The estimate was very reasonable, Contract was signed in June and within 30 days the new unit was installed. The entire crew was on time, efficient and were done with minimal interruption to our service. They even accommodated our request to maintain power to our fish tank during the process . Great job !!

We hired Long Electric to upgrade our 17KW generator to a 22KW whole house generator. From the beginning they explained everything needed for the upgrade. They arrived at the appointed time and went right to work. They worked efficiently, cleaned up all debris . The installers were knowledgeable , respectful and very conscientious I would highly recommend Long Electric for all your electrical needs. Also I want to give a shout out to Melissa who answered all my questions.

The team at Long Electric did a great job start to finish. They quoted a reasonable price for a generator & propane tank installation. Once the generator arrived and work on site began, they were always neat about their work and had things cleaned up at the end of the day. These guys great to work with!

I didn't realize how much work would be involved to install a standby generator. Long Electric did a fantastic job from start to finish, and the high quality of work is obvious. They also installed a new circuit breaker panel. Could not be happier with the work and the reasonable cost.

Long Electric recently completed installation of a whole house generator for our residence. The experience went very smoothly and they showed professionalism in every respect. We were especially impressed by their responsiveness whenever we had any questions about the procedure, as well as the extremely detailed proposal they provided. In the week since the completion of installation, we have already had a 2.5 hour power outage--and the generator worked like a charm. Overall, a great and painless experience. Highly recommend.

They buried the line using a missile instead of opening a long trench. This kept everything nice and neat.
