Jason Long was a true professional every step of the way. He gave us an estimate in a timely manner and completed the work with courtesy and skill. I understand it can take as much as 18 months to install a stand-by gas powered generator. Jason completed the work in 5 months.

Requested a turn key system to cover my entire house. Jason Long worked hard to design and coordinate all the teams in the implementation phase : Gas, inspectors and the electricians to deliver a system that was tested recently. During the November 2012 black out The generator kicked in immediately, supplying power for the entire house for 4 nights at a cost of $300 for gas.

The estimator was helpful, friendly, and professional. He gave a fair price and explained exactly what he would do.

Jason Long provided the best price by far and his work was very professional. His team was on time , completed the job and cleaned up . This was one of the best experiences I had with a contractor. He returned after all inspections were completed and tested the generator which worked like a charm. It runs a weekly test on time every week.

Jason Long and his crew did a very professional installation of my generator, and answered all of my questions and concerns completely. They are very hard working and continue beyond normal working hours to get the job finished promptly. They arranged for all permits and their work passed WSSC and County inspections without any issues.

Install was good, but follow-up service is not good. For the first year, there were to be two automatic service visits. None happened. I recently called three times and e-mailed the company . After three days, the company e-mails me back stating they are very busy, and that they would be in touch with me in a few days to schedule an appt. to provide service.

After two rounds of quotes and site surveys by other firms and Long Electric prior to award, it was not hard to expect what we came to find was an excellent quote, coordination install and back check. All staff on job pleasant, quiet, clean-up was great, and no trail of mud through the house! Jason went through 3-4 quotes and research of accessories and options before we settled in on the system installed. And it even more quiet than I had hoped for. Can wait for spring to plant and landscape. What an improvement to my licensed home business and peace of mind.
