Light & Day Lighting

During a kitchen remodel, I was not happy with the under cabinet lights that the designer offered. Good lighting stores are rare these days of big box stores. I found LIght and Day through their website and visited the store. I walked in and told them I was looking for LED under cabinet lighting that is low heat, bright enough for task work and dimmable to ambiance. Scott, the owner, said that he had what I what I wanted. It was an amazing product that I had never seen before--teeny lights mounted on a strip of tape that just stick onto the underside of the cabinets. Not those clunky things the big box stores sell. So I took the information back to my designer, who had the plans which Scott would need. To my huge annoyance the designer bought those lights but from another source, w/o asking Scott to match the price (which he would have). It was my intention that Light and Day get the business since I would never have found these lights but for them. Anyway, after the lights were installed, they were so impressive and so far superior to anything sold at any big box store that I decided to see what Light and Day could do regarding the overhead lights. Again, I wanted LEDs but had limitations due to how my house was constructed. Scott was right on the spot with advice and recommend a system that included a suspended rail that could accommodate both pendants and adjustable spots. It wasn't cheap but these were high quality lights that met my needs perfectly. They recommended an electrician who was familiar with the system. These lights are perfect, I'd never have found anything approaching either function or look but for LIght and Day. Beauty and effectiveness, I now have light in a difficult space. I cannot recommend Light and Day too highly. The staff is helpful and friendly. The lights are high quality and a real asset to my home. They fit my situation perfectly and I could not be happier.
