Painter quoted on above job, which needed to be done in a tight timeframe to comply with lender requirements. He was available and my wife and I had little choice but to go with him. We have no complaints about the quality of the work, although we thought $11,000 was exhorbitant for a project that was completed by two men in six days. In our opinion, we were taken advantage of by someone who saw the situation we were in and was more than happy to profit at our expense.
Description of Work: Prep and paint wood trim on face front of three story townhouse, i.e. scrape loose, peeling paint, remove loose deteriorated glazing in window sashes. Scrape loose paint from brick. Install new glazing compound where needed, prime and paint wood surfaces. Paint to be supplied by owner. Ensure no peeling paint to comply with VA requirements.
