+ -1 moreThe results looked great at first. But soon the asphalt began to wash away leaving a rough surface and the gravel showing. We called and talked with Jim himself. He said that he would come by, look at the condition and call that evening. He never called. We have tried to contact him several more times but only got his answering machine. We then had one coating put on and will need at least another soon.
Description of Work: They put a 2 1/2 inch topping on our driveway

+ -1 moreJim's paving is Testa Paving. Did my driveway; The work is so bad the driveway started eroding immediately. Does not return calls, does not show up when he is suppose to, can be aggressive when he doesn't agree with others opinions did not fulfill terms of contract (not done according to spec, not enough material). Complaints filed with county and state.

+ -1 moreContractor has disappeared. Cell phone is disconnected, no business listing. AVOID Update 11/2015: asphalt washing away in less than 2 years - completely wasted money
Description of Work: Jim had paved a number of driveways in the neighborhood and the quality looked good. He gave us an acceptable quote and came the next day. The driveway looked perfect. However, the first rain showed a slight grade TOWARD the house at the top of the driveway, which had not been there the previous 19 years. I spoke with his crew boss, who was working next door, and he promised to investigate. When I did not hear anything, I called Jim back, got his brother, who again promised to look at it. Again, no action. I tried a third time, spoke with the owner, Jim, who again promised to investigate. After two months, I have given up on it being fixed by his firm.
