This was the second home we had inspected in our search for a home and found the other inspector had either completely missed and/or been too vague when explaining the home's issues. Not wanting to make the same mistake I discovered Bob's web site. Both his web site and hall of shame pictures were very informative. When speaking to him, even through emails and phone conversations, explained clearly and in detail aspects to look for in a home. When we arrived Bob had already gone through the home and discovered some issues that he showed to us. I am sure the electrical will showing up his hall of shame. He went over those issues in detail and in terms that I could completely understand. I found him both personable and informative. With each explanation, I got a better idea of needed repairs. As we followed him around, he was more than willing to answer question, giving us a 101 of the home. This was not just a home inspection, but a detailed lecture on the home. At the end of the inspection, Bob went over his check off list and his notes. When we had questions and were looking for advice on repairs, he emailed quickly and extensive answers. If you are looking for a great inspector that does more than just check off a list, then you should hire Bob. I will recommend his services to anyone.
