I truly can't say enough positive things about Hank and HH Homes. We had a major issue in my house with a bathfitter that was never installed properly. We had water damage and water was pouring to our first floor from the poorly constructed bathfitter. From the get go, Hank was really prompt with his responses and willingness to come take a look. Other companies I talked to were not very responsive, and even sent quotes missing details we discussed. Hank was responsive, detail oriented, and up for the challenge of the unique and non standard tile choices we had. We converted the bathfitter/tub into a standalone shower, and the result is an awesome spa-like finish that is exactly what we were looking for. I highly recommend Hank and HH Homes for any remodeling project! I will definitely be calling him again for future projects.

They were absolutely amazing. Hank was super professional and answered all my annoying questions. They got the work done in a very reasonable time and it looked amazing! The crew he had were also amazing and they were great with my dog! Showed up on time and always let me know when they would be leaving, informed each day what they were getting done. The price was very reasonable and I didn’t feel like I over paid for the work I was having done. I would highly recommend them to anyone and will absolutely use them again for future projects!!

Our basement was destroyed in the recent flooding experienced in Frederick. HH Homes came in after we had a basement waterproofing system installed by another local vendor, AA Waterproofing (who also did a great job). Hank gave us a fair estimate for the work, which included re-framing, drywall installation, painting, laying Mannington LVP flooring, framing and hanging new doors, bathroom tiling, installing plumbing fixtures, reinstalling electrical fixtures, and general touch-up. Hank was consistent in his communications and accommodated our travel schedules to get the work done around our calendar. His crew did a great job in all aspects, and were professional and friendly. We're very pleased with the finished product and can certainly recommend HH Homes.

Impressed with the professionalism and skill of Hank and his technician, Kevin. Kevin did all of the work at our house. He was very knowledgeable and very proficient in employing all the tradecraft required to put our basement back together. The work was done with dedication and completed as quickly as possible in my opinion. Better than before our water disaster. I have already recommended HH Homes to a friend.

The work was done well. Very professional in working to develop an estimate to make sure everything was understood. Any problems that arose were dealt with promptly. Clean up was thorough. All in all, very satisfied.

For some unknown reason, our 60's era ranch house was built without any direct access to the back yard.To get out there for gardening or other yard work we had to leave the kitchen,go through the garage to a little entryway,then into a sunroom and finally outdoors.Crazy,no?Plus,I love to grill and with the house as is the only place for the grill was on the front porch. After doing a lot of research and reading a lot of reviews of contractors,we settled on HH Homes, and this was a great decision. Hank spent a lot of time with us discussing all of the options for our project. It was a bit more complicated since once the bow window was out there was about 3 feet of wall from the bottom of the window to the interior floor that had to be removed,including brick exterior wall. Some wiring needed to be re-routed too. None of this was a problem for Hank's excellent crew.The work was done quickly,efficiently, with a minimal amount of disruption to our home. The deck,with stairs down to ground level was also first rate with first quality lumber. The guys that came to do the work were very friendly, and didn't mind me "supervising" from time to time. They answered all questions fully, and were meticulous in their work and cleanup. Now,I can step right out the door to the deck and my grill. We have a small table and 2 chairs out there and we spent a great deal of time out on the deck for as long as the summer and fall permitted. This was a no B.S. job. Hank and the crew showed up when they said they would or called if there was any delay,which was only once or twice. They went out of their way to make the job fit into our needs and schedule. All in all, we couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Hank and his team did an excellent job making our ideas a reality! His crew was great to work with as were his subs. This is our second job from HH Homes (The first being adding a set of stairs to the rear of our home last year). We will definitely call Hank first for any other household remodeling or projects.

It went well. Hank was very responsive to my questions and kept me uptodate on how it was going. Price was inline with other quotes I'd gotten (in the middle).

They wanted too much money to even just do a design. It was a good experience, they were good. They wanted too much to really do a design to even get started. They didn't really do a quote on the whole job, they did a quote on the design. Responsiveness, they were good. I would probably go with another company again.

Excellent. HH Homes are very professional, very clean and tidy at the end of each work day and always arrived on time in the morning. Hank and his team are very good craftsmen. We would recommend using them to anyone. They were able to start our project very quickly and finish on time, per their contract with us.

They did an excellent job. Communication with Hank was awesome. He and his team were always punctual. Price was very reasonable, (not cheap), but a great value. Good quality work!

Not every project goes as planned and you learn a lot based on how your contractor responds to a mistake. The carpenter made some incorrect cuts on the stairs and Hank at HH could not have been more apologetic and professional. He told me exactly where his carpenter made the error and explained that he was going to fix the problem ASAP. He said his #1 priority was ensuring that my wife and I were happy - and he followed through 100%. The finished product was exactly what we were hoping for at a great price.

I purchased 2 coupons on Angies List. 1st visit was good, very helpful and professional. Problem started with 2nd visit. The owner wasn't happy I wanted to use another coupon. Told him he needs to put comment or disclaimer or something because there are no restrictions etc.,. because I checked before buying the 2nd coupon. I had 1 hr left but he says he can't do anything about that & I couldn't use the 1 hr toward another job. Again, told hm he should have all of these things with full disclosure & save others time & aggravation. Coupon states how many hrs you are buying & nowhere does it say if there is any time left over, it can't be used. Bigger issue is my garbage disposal. Installed 6/14/16, it is yet to work correctly. I'm lucky if I can get it the work more than 10-15 seconds before it shuts off. You have to get tool they provided and work it back & forth, do the reset button. Very awkward (& frustrating) having to do this over & over again. Owner told me I shouldn't put banana peels & a few other things down it. That is the first time I've ever heard of this nonsense. Went to website and nowhere are any of the things he told me were on their list for things not to put in the disposal. After a few calls back & forth, knew he was just blowing me off even though I had 1 hr balance (which he is saying I can't use). This was in June, it is now October. Still can't get it to ruin for more than 10 - 15 seconds. Thoroughly disgusted & frustrated. After going back & forth trying to resolve this (sometimes I had hard time getting him to return my calls or texts); I gave up. In September, I notified him I wouldn't be giving him a good review. Then he finally asks if I wanted him to look at it. Declined his offer. Too little too late. won't recommend him to anyone.

These guys were great, the communication was really good. They showed up did all of the work and removed all of the debris.

Hank and his crew were FABULOUS! Handy Hank himself came out to work the estimate and talk through the job with us. Communication from start to finish was timely and often proactive on Hank's part--something we were particularly pleased by. As first-time renovators, we weren't clear on what needed to be done versus should be done versus really shouldn't be tackled. Hank was patient, kind, and clear about everything. He suggested improvements we wouldn't have thought to make, and steered us away from poor decisions (even though it would have meant more money for him). There were even extra touches thrown in along the way, like an accent line of tile in the bathroom, that reflect the pride and care Hank's team take in their work. When we had questions or concerns, Hank was always ready to explain his thinking or to change their plan of attack to accommodate our ideas. We even sprung an extra bathroom remodel on him halfway through the process and he didn't bat an eye, just got it all worked in. Since the completion of the work, Hank has continued to be communicative and when occasional problems or questions have arisen he continues to be right on it every time. I simply cannot recommend Hank highly enough, and we'll be returning to him for all our future needs!

Hank was very thorough in his research to provide us with numerous options for design & brands. Once again the boys did a great job. We will use this company again!

We are so pleased with our new 8 foot wide steps with built in flower boxes down the side. They worked with me on the design & the end result is awesome. They were so friendly, knowledgeable & cleaned up at the end of each day.

Tim from Hank's was prompt and quick but detailed in his service. He also took some information for estimates to be done for some other projects. He was polite, overcame a couple small challenges, and excellent to have working in our home. We hope to do business with this company again soon.

Tim arrived promptly at the arranged time. He was courteous & very knowledgeable. The work was completed & he cleaned up. We were very pleased with the services. We already have plans to use this company again for 2 larger projects.

Excellent - not only were they early, they were efficient by multitasking two projects and provided expert advise to help us fix a problem door the right way. We are booking another appointment with them to complete other jobs.

I was not able to get everything done that was requested. Contractor needed to build a small couch riser for the movie room. After consultations with others I found his estimates out of line with industry norm -so I declined to accept the additional cost.
