We bought a 21 yr old home this summer that had drafts & leaks, so we had Glory Energy come in & do an energy audit.They pointed out to us that our electric company would pay up to 2000 dollars of any repairs to make the home more energy effecient. So we will get 2000 back in about 6-8 wks for Potomac Edison. Glory energy showed us with infra-red cameras where the worst leaks were & proposed how to repair them. They were proffessionnal & polite. They were almost like family!They found some other items that needed repairs & just fixed them right on the spot. When they were done the rooms were so much warmer! Tehy were on time & stayed till the job was done throughly.They cleaned up after themselves & explained everything that they did & why they did it. It was a wonderful experience & are so excited our indoor thermometer has risen without turning the thermostat up!

The technician arrived on time and performed a comprehensive audit of the home. He honestly evaluated the cost effectiveness of hiring a contractor to fix various insulation and air sealing issues. When hiring a contractor to resolve an issue would not be cost effective, he provided helpful suggestions for fixing the issue myself. I appreciated his willingness to tell me that I didn't need any work done.

We did not end up using Glory Energy because the house in question was not purchased. However, after speaking with many insulation / energy consultants - particularly related to spray foam - I found Tim to be the most helpful and most willing to give of his time. He responded to numerous questions and provided very helpful information. He went out of his way to provide insulation references we could actually visit. I would not hesitate to engage him again on a future effort.

This company was great from start to finish. Tim came out in the early evening in Nov 2011 and performed an energy audit. He walked through the house with me and showed me things I could easily repair on my own, and even took pictures of the spaces in the attic that needed to be sealed and showed the depth of the insulation. He then reviewed with me his recommendations on what and how to fix somethings myself and what service they could offer. He did not try to over sell me at all. I thought I would need new windows (16 yrs old) but Tim said they were fine. Had the work done in July 2012 (new rebate was offered from my electric company). House is much cooler now. Even had to increase the temp for the AC because I was getting cold in my home. They also fixed my storm door so I could put off buying a new one for a few months. The company send me the completed rebate forms within a week of the completion of the job and I signed and mailed them off. I would highly recommend this company if you are looking for an honest company that delivers in the quality of work.

The audit price is set by the power company but then we hired this company to come back and do the work they discovered from the audit. They are thorough and do not exert any pressure. I would highly recommend them and will use them again in the future.
