They were professional and gave a fair estimate. If I decide to replace the fence in the future, I would definitely do business with this company.

They also were absolutely excellent. I would absolutely use them again.

The overall experience was excellent! First I met with Louise, whom was the consultant for Frederick Fence. Louise went over the fence options, installation and scheduling procedures, and finance options. Once all the paperwork was completed, Louise set up a timeframe of when the team would come to install the fence. Second step was the installation of the fence. Eric and Will were the two gentlemen who I met with on day one of the install. Eric went over all the steps that would be performed during the installation and was very professional. The installation consisted of two 5' gates and approximately 380' of vinyl tongue and groove fencing. On day one the two gentlemen completed the removal of chain link fencing and installation of all new vinyl posts. On day two they finished installing all of the fence, job complete!!! To those who maybe considering installing a new fence, I would HIGHLY recommend Frederick Fence! Two days for over 380' of vinyl fencing and even removing an old chain link fence.....AMAZING! They have the right tools, right motivation, and right people for the job!!!

Removal and installation went very well, and proceeded as expected from the description provided by the sales staff. A few minor omissions were satisfactorily corrected immediately after I pointed them out. One extra small job, which was not included in the cost and was agreed to as a favor, was not in fact done.

Chris very impressive with his efficiency, attention to detail and knowledge. With a clipboard, tape measure and metal detector, he walked the property locating the boundary stakes and seemed very competent. For example, there's a neighborhood verizon fios access manhole in the backyard and Chris recommended the additional installation of another smaller, cheaper gate just to provide maintenance access, problem solved. Very nice to deal with I told Chris that though ultimately he was priced higher than the company I did choose to go with, that I would write this good review because I thought he deserved this recognition. Even if not chosen this time that he should be in the running for consideration for bids on other jobs.

I called them to get an estimate. They came in slightly under everyone, but one. The one that was lower was a little shady, so I didn't go with that company. They came out and met with with me. They measured and took notes on what I wanted. They emailed me a quote for the work the very next day. I signed the contract and faxed it back that night. They called to schedule a date. It was 3 weeks out because it was the busy season for them. That gave them the time to come out and mark the property lines and get MIss Utility out there to mark the utilities. They came out and had the fence installed and excess cleaned up with in two days of start.

It's a local business. They did a really good job! They had a good price and worked along with me really well since there were a few times I needed to make adjustments. They were responsive in making those adjustments and met all codes. Everything went pretty smoothly for having to change some things.

They did an excellent job of replacing my two sections of damaged fence and repairing my gate. Once minor thing they didn't do properly was to dig a small trench under my gate so that I could fill it up later on with concrete to keep my dogs from digging out. The trench that they did dig wasn't exactly under the gate, so I had to go dig the trench myself. Of course I cannot really blame them as my instructions given to the worker as I was leaving for work seemed to go in one ear and out the other. Plus, I did not like the fact that he took all the chopped up logs I had put in front of the fence to get the dogs in and rolled them down the hill instead of just placing them aside. I only wish I had been there to supervise is my only regret. But I will use them again in needed.

I got 3 quotes from Angie's list companies in early May to have a split rail fence installed at a house I was closing on in mid-May. All quotes were similar in price. I selected Fredrick Fence because my sales person, Mark, assured me installation could begin on Friday, June 1st. This was the critical point because I wanted the fence completed by Tuesday June 5th when we moved into the new house. Mark said if we completed the contact early and I called with my deposit the day after we closed, he would put me on the schedule for June 1 and it should take 2 to 3 days to complete. Sounded great. I called with my deposit after we closed as requested. On May 31, I sent Mark an email asking what time the crew was coming the next day since I wasn't living in the house yet I wanted to make sure I was there to meet them. He replied between 9-9:30 am. However, after no one showed on June 1st, I called Fredrick Fence to see where they were. I was transferred to the women in charge of scheduling installs who did not have my install scheduled or any knowledge that I was told my install would be June 1. After I explained the situation to her (that I expected the install to start on the 1st) she said she would see what she could do to start the job June 5th but it would probably be the 6th or 7th. Thankfully, she called me the next day and the install started on the 5th. When the crew arrived I said to them "ok so this will take 2, maybe 3 days, yes?" They laughed and said who told you that, this is at least 3 full days probably 4. So nothing that Mark told me was correct, except the price. Also when I emailed him about the scheduling mix up and suggested that I should be compensated for the inconvenience, he said he would talk to his manager and get back to me. I have never heard from him again, although the bill for the originally quoted price showed up in a timely manner. However, my estimate included one pole being and ldquo;core drilledand rdquo; into asphalt (Mark told me it would cost a little extra); however the post was not core drilled (the great foreman decided to do something else instead that was just as effective), so I feel my bill should have been adjusted for that but wasn't. Overall, I was completely unsatisfied with the costumer service I received on the sales end (grades given for responsiveness and professionalism), but very satisfied with the great installation crew (all the "A" grades). They knew I was upset, and worked hard to finish in 3 days despite the obstacles to work around in the yard. They did a fantastic job and the fence looks great!

I like that they manufacture their own fencing. There was no hassle dealing with them. One thing I don't know about is that on one of the three gates the lock isn't working right. The came and looked at it and said I needed a new locking mechanism but I was out of the country for a while and they have not had a chance to come back out. I assume they will take care of us since it is under warranty but I am not sure of that because we have not yet gotten it serviced. When they came out they did what they said they were going to do, they did it well, and they did not leave a mess. They were efficient and competent. We didn't have any problems with calling them back out for loose boards or anything. I didn't have to talk to them about any of that. I called them, we arranged the details, they came out and did the job. Their pricing was not out of line and their quality was very good. I am looking at getting more fencing from them.

I thought they were friendly, I thought the quality of work as good. They showed up when they said they would and they were helpful and flexible.

the team arrived on the date and time scheduled. They removed all of the old wire carefully and quickly, replaced 25 fence boards that were in less-than-optimal shape, installed a tensile wire (to prevent my dog from pushing the fence out - I have a 50 pound Houdini), aligned the gates and straightened a few posts, and did a great job pulling the new wire tight and even. This team went above and beyond because there were grass clumps that they had to clear out by hand with shears and some plants very close to the new wire - they used care and didn't disturb anything. They were very careful not to let stray u-hooks escape into the grass (avoiding possibility of paw pad injuries). I gave both individuals a nice tip for their trouble. The yard looks great, and I now have confidence that I can let the K9s out to relax or gnaw on a marrow bone without fear of them escaping into the park after deer. Yay!

It can take a little while for them to get to you, but once they do the fence it is very very good work. They are by far the nicest and best quality company compared other people I have used.

Great pitch, but we ended up going with wrought iron.

The service went extremely well. We would highly recommend them to other people. We would use them again in the future.

I'm not pleased. The original estimate they quoted me at ended up being $300 more. They misquoted it, and forgot to add in a couple of pieces of material. The time to get it installed has been quite lagging. I signed my contract on May 4th, and they're just now doing it.

Wonderful. They came exactly when they were scheduled\, then the installers walked us through waht they were going to be doing and made sure their diagram matched ours and the fence was going in exactly where we wanted it. They picked up all of the trash and were very respectful of our property and the neighbors property. The end result was fantastic, better than we expected.

While salesman was positive and pro-active, installers were not convinced that this was a simple process. It did take extra effort to get the lines pulled to keep the look we wanted. When the fence was finished the installers actually impressed themselves with what the finished product.looked like.

Frederick Fence did a fantastic job. They came out to do an estimate, and quoted us a fair price. On the day they came out to do the fence we were amazed how quickly it got done and how hard they were working. Not only that, but they went to the extra effort to make sure the fence was as close to the house as possible, because the worker knew we had a small dauschund, who could possibly squeeze through if not spaced properly. It was really thoughtful, and took a bit of extra time, and I was so grateful he went to the extra effort. It meant a lot to us.

The owner is Steve powers and he is a very nice and a great guy. He started that company himself by installing fences and now he's done really good. He is reasonably priced, etc. I would rate them high across the board and I would use them again in the future.

Do ask about their own fabircation for vinyl--if you can get it! Do ask about their custom posts.

They are amazing. Prices were better than any competitor and their quality was first rate.

Requested to get an estimate from company. A representative called and scheduled a date/time to meet at my residence for an estimate. Gentlemen never showed up, nor called to reschedule/explain. Wish at least I could have gotten a call saying that he couldn't make it as I had to take time off from work to meet him. Obviously, I did not select this company to build our fence.

Overall it was very good. Their price was very competitive. The work was done quickly and professioinally.

There were some difficulties and problems when the fence was first installed, and I called them to have them come back and fix it. They had to do some adjustments three weeks after the initial job. The job went very well. They made a number of helpful suggestions on better ways to install a fence. When the job was done, it was very, very nice. I thought they were quite professional. Their service was really excellent. A few weeks later, we had difficulty closing the gate. I called them, and they fixed the gate within three or four days. We were very pleased with the work they did and how they came out with no questions asked. We got five estimates, and they were the second lowest. They took a while to set up the original appointment, but once that was set up, they were on time.
