From the beginning when I spoke with the owner, Elliott Wireman, to the completion all went extremely well. Elliott answered all of my questions and even brought up things I had not thought to ask. I went to more than just ER Roofing to compare pricing for this project and ER Roofing had the best pricing. I compared ER's quote against another good contractor who had higher pricing just to make sure I was comparing apples to apples as to what work and type of shingles were to be used. They were the same. Further, I had two neighbors that had ER Roofing do their roof replacement so I had their input as well before deciding on ER Roofing. On the day that the work was to be done, the contractor came on time as they said they would. I met with the foreman on the job, Ramel who was very knowledgeable, professional and courteous as was the entire crew. Lastly, they completed the work exactly as they said they would and did a thorough grounds and area clean up so that no nails or debris would be left. We highly recommend this contractor if you need a roof replacement.

It was okay nothing special I found them a little non responsive I reached out a couple times to ask for an update he said he come back out but the weather was really cold it was a bad time and I was actually pretty good about that I just really didn't cared that he hadn't come back I was just curious when he was coming back and I never did hear from him finally my wife got hold of him and said well he was into something what you did or what saw what you repaired and he said okay yeah I sent you an email and we never hear anything more, there is a period when he fixed the leak that I hoped he fixed but on the other hand I don't know that I would hire again. I don't know what he did I don't know if it's a temporary fix or if it a long term fix I like to know what it was I never gotten any confirmation what exactly he did do and if there is any other problems so I said he could explore and see if there is anything else that need to be done, that's fine but I found other people in the past to be more helpful and more informative and I don't think I will ever use him again.

Elliott and his crew were very honest and professional. My house is 50 years old and needed a lot of attention. Elliott addressed all of my concerns and explained everything that they were doing. He did not want to leave until I was completely satisfied with the work performed. They did an excellent job and I know that I will use them again.

ER Roofing was exceptional. The price was extremely competitive and the job was done in 1 day from complete tear off, to new roof installed. They even helped with some wood trim work that had fallen behind schedule. The company owner was on site almost all day supervising the crew and numerous "old house' challenges were overcome. If you are looking for a well done roof at a competitive price, ER is the one.

Fantastic. He came before 7 AM on a day that worked for me to check it out, since it was small he finished it up right there and then. I'm assuming $125 is his minimum. Very friendly and responsive and we got it fixed without having to reorder our job schedules around it. Will contact again if future work is needed.

They came and inspected the roof and repaired one known leak we had. They showed up as promised and we have had no issues with the repair.

Elliot came out to my house and gave me a great estimate and did all the items listed below later that week in one day. I could not be more satisfied. 1. Remove existing shingles and plywood on house. 2. install new OSB 7/16 plywood on entire roof. Plywood to be installed with 2? pneumatic gun nails. Plywood clips to be used as needed. 3. Install winter guard on eves, low sloped roofs, valleys and surrounding any roof penetrations such as chimney?s, skylights and vent pipes. 4. Install 30 Lbs roofing underlayment on rest of roof deck. 5. Install new F 5 drip edge on eves and rakes. 6 Install Certainteed swift start starter shingles on eves and rakes of roof. 7. Install Certainteed Landmark (50 year architectural) shingles with 6 1 1/4? pneumatic gun nails, Color:_______ 8. Remove and replace all flashing, counter flashing and pipe collars. 9. Cut approximately 1 to 2? out of ridge as needed. 10. Install shingle vent on ridges of roof with matching cap shingles. 11. Install matching cap shingles . 12. Remove existing gutters and fascia boards. 13. Install new fascia boards. 14. Install new vinyl triple four vented soffit. 15. Wrap fascia boards with aluminum trim coil. 16. Install new seamless 5? gutters and 2x3 downspouts. 17. Tarps will be put down in yard to collect debris. 18. Gutters will be cleaned of all debris. 19 Magnets will be used to collect nails.

It went perfectly. They were pleasant, prompt and honest.

Due to the major snow that occurred on January 22 and 23, we had a leak in the roof above our home office. We always obtain three estimates before choosing a contractor. I spoke to the owner Elliott Wireman and told him that I wanted him to prepare an estimate. He came to our house on January 28. My wife was home alone. After he inspected the roof, he gave my wife an invoice for $300. He stated that he fixed the problem. My wife felt uncomfortable and paid him the $300. This was completely unethical because we never asked him to do any work, but simply provide an estimate. One week later, when it rained water came through the same exact area that Elliott claimed that he had previously repaired. I called him and he said that he was going on vacation but would return on February 9 and would fix the issue. Since February 9, I have called him several times and he has never returned my calls. He did send me a text stating that he would come to my house but he never showed up. In sum, I would never use this company again not only because they are incompetent, but they are also dishonest. I plan to file a complaint with the Maryland Home Improvement Commission.

I called a few times before I was able to get ahold of someone. The gentleman named Elliot stated he was going to come for an estimate, but did not show up. He also did not email me the estimate like he said he would. They have bad customer service. I would not recommend this company due to the lack of professionalism.

At first, everything went very smoothly. Elliott, the owner very promptly answered my questions regarding the coatings for for the flat roof as well as the recessed gutters on the flat roof. He provided resources for me to check out the skylights. After contacting the distributor of the sky lights, it was pointed out to me that glass skylights were more energy efficient than acrylic skylights. So, I contacted Elliott and told him that I preferred glass skylights to replace my aging acrylic skylights. I asked him to tell me what the price would be. He said, he would come to my home to remeasure and get precise measurements and get back to me with prices. Elliott, called me with the information (price increase) and I said without hesitation "fine, please send me a contract". After a reasonable period of time passed and I had not been sent a contract or heard from Elliott, I emailed him . He did NOT respond to the email. I called and left a voicemail. And, again, I emailed reminding Elliott that I preferred that the work be completed before the weather got too cold. We were having unseasonably warm weather so conditions would have been ideal to have the work done. Well, I have not heard from him, he did not have the courtesy to tell me that he changed his mind about doing the work, and wasted both my time and his. I had good vibes about this company and felt confident in entrusting the job to ER Roofing. As I mentioned, he answered all my questions accurately and promptly and I never questioned his prices. I do not understand why he dropped me and why he couldn't just tell me if the job was too much for him to undertake . He certainly has favorable (mostly) reviews which I also seriously took into consideration when I decided to contract him. Elliott and his company ER Roofing really disappointed me and I hope others will consider my review prior to even calling the company.Especially since I had so much confidence in the company and was going to have the job completed by them.

The owner of the business was very professional and responsive by phone, but had to reschedule on us twice due to previous jobs running long. Because he was so responsive and also able to schedule early morning appointments (before I had to leave for work), I didn't mind all that much. The work seems to be done well. We haven't had a water issue since. The men were here and gone within 20 minutes, but showed me photographs of their repair and explained to me what the issue was.

Another roofer tried twice to fix but failed. ER came out and gave a concise estimate and fixed the issue tow days later. Very capable, very professional.

My neighborhood is 20 years old and the roofers are all up and down the street, replacing worn out shingles. I had several referrals from my neighbors but in the end I went with E.R. based on the reviews in Angie's List and also a very competitive offer from Elliot. The details: After comparing offers I knew what I needed, and Elliot's proposal touched all the bases; The contract adequately described all of the tasks that needed doing; The price was very competitive; The scheduling was very clear and the crew adapted to the weather without disrupting my own schedule (they are efficient - there's no standing around); The crew was easy to talk to, they respected my property, and they did a good job cleaning up afterwards; Elliot was always available by text message and came by several times to assure all was going according to plan; I got exactly what I expected, for the price I expected; and The roof looks GREAT. It is so nice when a project works out without surprises - and it doesn't happen often! I hope I never need another roof but if I did.... :)

Short answer is that it went very well and I'm glad I worked with this contractor and recommend them. I received estimates from 3 companies, 2 of which were larger outfits than E R Roofing. With E R Roofing I dealt directly with the owner who was also involved in the work. There is a different feeling in dealing with larger companies including slicker marketing materials, but I concluded that there would be no difference in the final result, only in the price - which was substantial. Now that the work is complete, I still feel that way. All proposals included drip guard along all roof edges and special ice and water protection material (against ice dams) along the roof edges where there are gutters. The only difference in material that I noted in the quotes was between the use of 30# felt paper underlayment vs a synthetic product. I could have insisted on making this substitution but I've seen felt's endurance. As an example on price differential, I asked using a different, more costly shingle. Since the material itself essentially would be the only change in underlying cost, I was able to compare companies with the change in materials and see what struck me as an extreme mark-up on materials. This exercise convinced me that the outcome would be the same with E R Roofing, only that I would pay less than I would with the larger firms. The materials were delivered onto the roof the day before the job, and on job day the crew showed up on time and the work went smoothly. The team hustled and the work was done in a single day. Only one of the roof's plywood sheets had to be replaced, but there was a lot of work devoted to completely reflashing old, custom skylights. Site clean up was thorough. All-in-all I was pleased with the experience and recommend E R Roofing.

Once again, Elliott to the rescue! Had a small leak around a flashing. This was noticed during the recent historical rainfall we had this month. E R Roofing had replaced the roof on my home years ago, and naturally when this second property needed some attention, I called Elliott. He came out in the same week I called, to inspect. Once on the roof, he found the problem, had all the materials with him and did repairs on the spot. Fixed the flashing in a flash! I have recommended E R Roofing to at least 8 friends/family. They all say he did a perfect job and all were absolutely thrilled with their new roof and his performance. I have nothing but good things to say about E R Roofing.

Mostly went smoothly - they were done by the middle of the afternoon. Two return trips were needed to completely finish it - first due to running out of ridge shingles for one of the bay windows, and second due to not having left quite enough flashing to finish after coming back with the ridge shingles. We finally had a big rainstorm, and I climbed up into the attic with a flashlight - everything was dry, so I'm happy.

In May, I had this vendor come and make an inspection of the roof. The report indicated that the roof looked to be about 20 or so years old (consistent with the age of the house and the shedding of shingle grains. In July I had Elliott return to give an estimate and schedule a work date. He provided an estimate. He said because of weather, he would contact me about 10 days before work was to begin. He did so. His crew arrived a little late, but that was due to a flat tire. They got right to work, starting about 8:15 AM. They were completed about 4:00 PM. The work looks good, the clean-up was good. and the crew was helpful and professional.

We highly recommend E.R. Roofing for their work ethic, outstanding workmanship, and great value. Very impressive company, a pleasure to deal with. They did excellent work, very efficiently, protected shrubbery, and cleaned up nicely. There was not a long wait and there were no problems. Elliot replaced some of the gutters with a larger size to prevent problems with overflow—a solution not offered by other roofers.

I called several companies. Elliot was very quick to respond, very prompt and his price was very competitive. The most important thing was he was able to work on my short timeline. I needed the roof replaced fast because we were putting the house up for sale within weeks. They did the job in one day. All the neighbors were impressed. Very quick and professional. Clean up was pretty good. They didn't ruin my shrubs/landscaping like the last roofer I used. I used them again for a siding job about a 3 weeks later. This time he was not as quick to respond but did fit me in in his tight schedule. He apologized for not responding sooner because he was getting slammed with work. I am keeping him on my contractors list.
