Elliot was wonderful to work with. His estimate was right on, his crew punctual, clean, courteous, and professional. He was quick to return to touch up some trouble spots and we are very happy with the quality of his work and the service that he provided. He was even very patient and understanding about a financial mix-up on our part that delayed his payment. Again, he was absolutely great to work with.

It went well as my remarks above indicate. I should add, as they reinstalled the siding that fell off, they, on their own, removed ice in a nearby gutter that was blocking the flow. If I hadn't "caught them in the act" doing this good deed, it may have well gone unmentioned. I feel I am in good hands with E.F. Roofing company.

It went great. He was very busy when I contacted him, but was honest and created realistic expectations about his timelines. His crew showed up when stated and worked non-stop to complete my large roof within a two day timeframe. There was absolutely no mess left when the job was completed. They went around with a big magnet at the end to insure that all nails were off the lawn. This was very important to me because I have multiple dogs that run all around the yard. The roof looks great and so far, I have not experienced the leaks that were present prior to replacement. I would use Elliot again when needed. Should be in about 30 years.

When I first contacted the company, Elliott answered and asked if he could call me back in 15 minutes. I said yes and waited, never heard back. Called someone else and got a quote, which seemed high, so I called him back about a week later. This time we were able to schedule a visit for an estimate. I liked that Elliott took photos with his phone while he was up there so he could easily explain what the problem was. His estimate was much less than the other roofer's, and based on his great rating on Angie's List, we hired him. He set a loose appointment for the following week, but he didn't show or call. I wasn't too concerned about it because the leak is not a big one and not in need of immediate repair. When I called him, he was apologetic, and we set up an appointment in another week. He and his assistant showed up promptly and completed the work. As far as we can tell, the area is no longer leaking; it has stayed dry during the last two rains.

The owner was very responsive and kept to his word. He took a picture of what the problem was and also took a picture after it was repaired. He was friendly, polite and professional.

I contacted Elliot early the week of October 4th and explained that I wanted my slate roof to be properly inspected, especially after last winter's heavy snows. We talked in detail about the heavy snow that produced some seepage after it had stayed on the roof for a couple weeks. He agreed that it might not mean a problem but could do an inspection. I also indicated that there was one very minor leak. He said he could do an inspection and minor repair for about $250 and would come out around 7:00 a.m. Monday, October 11th (said he wanted to do it at the beginning of the work day). He asked that I confirm the appointment that Friday (October 8th) by calling him. I did so, leaving a message and asking that he also call me back to confirm, but he did not. On Monday, around 8:45 a.m., I called after no one had arrived. He said he didn't have my contact information anymore and asked again what I wanted, whereby it became clear that they do not perform slate roof inspections. This was a waste of an entire week for me and I will not consider them again.

It took several weeks from the time of my request for them to do the repairs - they're quite busy. When they arrived, all the work was done in less than a day. The quality of the workmanship was excellent and the workers very professional.

The experience could not have been better. I called on 8/19/2010, desperate, because I found a leak which caused a hole in my ceiling of my closet. I needed to have it fixed before the next rain storm. I left a message and within an hour, I got a call back. The job was scheduled for the next morning between 8 and 9am. They showed up promptly and went up to find the problem. Within a short time the problem was fixed. They even removed some leaves from my gutter. I found them very personable and polite. I am very pleased and I would highly recommend this company.

Our lower roof and siding were damaged by this winter's blizzards. I called Elliott and he came out in a few days time to provide an estimate.While he was here, I asked also for an estimate to replace the upper roof and some gutters. Elliott patiently answered all questions while he was here and also follow-up questions via phone and email. E R Roofing's estimates were very fair and on target. Elliott and his crew handled themselves very professionally from start to finish and kept us updated on their progress and anticipated weather delays. The crew was friendly and approachable. The roof and siding look terrific and we have couldn't be happier. We highly recommend E R Roofing.

Elliot at ER Roofing provided a fantastic experience. When I first called for an estimate, I received Elliot's voicemail. Approximately 1 hour later he called me back and said he could stop by the house the next day at 6:30am to give us an estimate. This worked out perfectly as he was passing through our area for another job, and I was able to not be late/leave work due to the estimate. He provided us with brochures of the CertainTeed shingles and explained to us the difference between the various shingle options. He also told us about the warranties for each single, as well as his 20 year labor warranty (which puts to shame all of the other roofing companies we received bids from. The highest of which was 7 years.) Roughly 2 days had passed after he came out to the house, and we received the estimate. It isted all steps to be done during the roofing, what products were being used, and even included replacing our old attic fan with a brand new one (which no other company included). His price was extremely fair, and by fair I mean better than every other roofing bid we received. Although I was skeptical of taking the lowest bid, we felt comfortable proceeding anyway and we are extremely happy we did. In between signing the contract and the job starting, we had a tree branch puncture a part of the roof which was not being replaced. Elliot said repairing it was no problem, and only charged us for material costs as he did not have any on hand (which was very fair). The day before the project began, all of the roofing materials were delivered to the house. On the scheduled date, Elliot and his crew arrived when they said they would and began working. I received a call 5 hours later to let me know they were 20 minutes from completion so I went home to inspect the job. When I arrived, Elliot and his crew were cleaning up and doing some last minute touch-ups on the roof. I went on the roof and everything looked great. All of the flashings were sealed with ample amounts of silicone sealant, even the nail holes on the corner joints were siliconed to prevent leaking. It rained very heavily that night, and I went in the attic to see if the leaks we had previously were still present, and to my pleasant surprise they were completely dry. ER Roofing was very professional, polite, and did exactly as someone paying a contractor would expect. I would use ER Roofing a million times over, and have already recommended them to other people.

Rarely do I encounter excellent customer service, but am glad to report that ER Roofing went beyond my expectations of how a customer should be treated. Mr. Wireman was quick to respond to my estimate request and scheduled a time to visit us in the next two days. He sent us a detailed, organized and itemized estimate on the same evening he met with me. Other companies took over a week to get back to me and several quoted higher prices. ER Roofing's estimate was not the lowest, but was very fair and was the only estimate I received that included the cost of everything we had asked to have done. On the day of the job, the crew arrived promptly and the company owner was present the entire day to work on the roof and oversee the entire operation. From start to finish the whole project took less than 6 hours. The crew did a fabulous job of dealing with our neighbor?s concerns (we live in a townhouse) and cleaned up very thoroughly. I was impressed because the men who smoked even took their cigarette butts with them, unlike other companies I have employed in the past. They searched the yard 3 times for nails because I have small children and they wanted to be certain that they had the yard as safe as possible. Overall, this was a hassle free experience and it was a pleasure to conduct business with Mr. Wireman. I have recommended him to several friends who are in need of roofers and we have contracted him to return and replace some windows in the house. I could not be more pleased with this company and the work they did. On a side note, we had a satellite technician over to realign the dish and he commented on what a fine job our roofers did! I would highly recommend ER Roofing Co.

They were here the very next day after I called. Their service was good and their price was good.

Everyting was explained, questions answered by Elliot Wireman who was very proffessional, estimate followed, no added expenses. I was given contacts and did call them before giving ER the job. The reports of previous work was quite satisfactory. Elliot recheduled work to accomodate me and get my roof done before it got too cold. The crew came out and worked well and continuously until the job was completed. I had asked them to make sure all nails were picked up at the end and found multiple nails as soon as they left but that is my only complaint. I have been picking them up ever since.

It was a lot of money but it was well worth it. They did a fabulous job. The owner, Elliott, was very professional. He gave us an estimate and we worked out terms. He answered any questions we had. They did exactly what they said they would do. They came very early in the morning and worked all day. Before they left each night they cleaned up and went around with a metal detector to pick up any scraps of metal or materials. Each day they left the site as well as you can leave a site that is in the middle of construction. They were very courteous. We were very pleased. They took their time to do the job right, but they didn't delay it and they were very, very professional. They were also very knowledgeable and it was a very good experience. Their price was one of the lowest that we got. We got five different prices for this job. Three of the contractors recommended that they would put the siding on over the old siding and we didn't think that was a good idea. Elliot was one of two that recommended taking the siding off. There is a lot of exterior area on our house. We have already contracted with them to do some other work.

He was fast, efficient, confident and trustworthy. I had no complaints at all about him. It took him 3 days to complete the job because the rain got in between. His price was the lowest of the 4 people that I interviewed. I would use him again if need be.

They did a very nice job. Their price was the lowest bid and the quality matched all of the higher bids. I needed it done the week before Thanksgiving and they had it done two weeks before. I have a fairly big house, I have three rooms and they did the whole thing in 2 days. They also took out and installed 3 skylights. When people work on your property you can get a sense of how professional they are and how well the business is ran by their behavior. Everyone on the team showed up on time and immediately started working. All day long there was this pleasant bantering between them and frankly I never saw them stop for lunch or anything. They worked straight through from 7 a.m. until the end of the day when they quit. I had a good experience with the owner in terms of some questions I had and he came over to address. I had a good experience with them from price to product to installation.

He corrected some previous repair work that was not good and completed some other repairs. The guy he sent out, Roberto, was just excellent. He did very good work.

Elliott came and gave me an estimate on the spot for my work, and said he could do it within a week. He had a very good price and we made a deal. On our agreed to day, he arrived on time, and finished the work quickly. Very satisfied with him. I would have him out again if I had a need.

Called friday evening around 5pm and scheduled an appointment for the next day (Saturday!) at 8:30am. Roofer arrived at 8am (called to say he would be early and was that okay), got up on the roof in the cold, wet weather, told me the roof was missing shingles which was causing the leak. He went to buy the shingles, came back and replaced them within an hour.

Great! They arrived within an hour of my phone call, performing work outside their normal business hours during a hard rain..

Mr. Wireman responded to our call immediately and set an appointment for a few days after that to come and give us an estimate. He arrived when he said he would, assessed the situation, and because he had the time that day, he got right to work. He was professional, courteous, and friendly. The work was done well. We would use him again.

Called ER and they came out very quickly, provided an estimate, and got to work when scheduled. Friendly and competent experts repaired part of the roof that leaked and while up there checked other areas. Hard rain since then proved they did the job correctly, since we have no leaks now.

They were very responsive and were able to repair the roof within a day of me calling. I was very satisfied with their work and responsiveness. The owner was not on site, but was communicating with the crew over the phone and called me the next day to make sure I was satisfied with the job. The only thing was that there was a problem with a gutter and some wood on the roof, but I should have called them.

Received quote within a couple days. Work completed within one week of OK to proceed. And I was able to use the discount coupon offered on Angie's List website!!

I contacted Mr. Wireman for an estimate & he got there within the week. I had described the history of the building and the leak & he checked out the prior fix the builders had tried and said it was done properly (they had fixed TyVek and siding around a window). He pointed out how the valley between the old and new sections was not shingled properly, and described that underneath the shingles it was probably not flashed properly. He was knowledgeable, polite, and confident. He gave me an estimate, we scheduled it for a week later, he confirmed and arrived on time. They worked for about 5 hours and did the work properly. I hope that this did the trick - as always with leaks, we'll have to wait until the next pouring, lengthy rain - but his work is guaranteed for a year and I don't anticipate any problems!
