Best experience I have ever had with a contractor. I called & Elliott came out within a day and gave us a great price. He was back within a day or two to do the work. From initial phone call to completion of work it was a great experience. Fast, Friendly and Efficient.

They did a fantastic job. They were prompt and the roof looks great. I cannot speak high enough about them. The quote was substantially lower than their competition and the work was very good. I went with the low bid and I was apprehensive but they did a fabulous job. They honored a promotion through Angie's List and they were the people that told me about the discount. I felt like they were very trustworthy.

After the weather allowed for the roof to be replaced Elliott and his crew showed up at 7am and finished the roof in one day. Great job.

Had a fantastic result with Elliott and ER Roofing. My large project had 65 squares of roofing including a small barn, 7 skylights, new oversized gutters, leaf guards, and designer shingles for laydown atop a complex roof geometry. Of three Angie's List 'Super Service Award' winners (all running similar 'specials'), Elliott undercut the bids of the other two roofers by 28% and 38% ... significant savings on a job like mine. The next closest bidder, who has salesman and showroom staff to support, said they'd be available if needed to bail out the low bidder. Never was there a need. Elliott's crew started on time, worked around a snowfall, facilitated my installation of a new wood stove chimney, and finished the job sticking exactly to his original estimale. As ER Roofing is a four-star installer, the manufacturer warrants my roof for life. But most importantly, the two roof's turned out beautiful, every bit as grand as I'd imagined. I can highly recommend ER Roofing on large, residential projects with complex shingles, and I'm sure their work would be just as professional on mainstream roofs.

I thought they were a little rushed. They came out on a Saturday and it seemed a little rushed to me. Maybe they had a lot of responses or something. To be honest, what needs to be done is not something they could do. I was having leaking and dripping coming in around the exhaust and the roof is leaking around that and they re-sealed that but basically, I think, it is not going to be resolved until we get a new roof.

Elliott was understanding of our emergency and worked with us to get our boarded up house back to normal. He and his crew worked us in around the holidays and the winter weather to replace the insulation, siding, and peace of mind we lost in the fire.

Elliot was terrific! There was water coming in from the attic, and I thought there was a hole in the roof. I used Angie's List, found ER Roofing, contacted Elliot, and he was at my house in a matter of a few hours. He replaced two pipe collars, and replaced some seals around those same pipes. Bottom line: not a leaky roof! I plan to use him again. Great service!

Very well. The company did what it said it would in a highly professional manner. Note: I don't know what this Band of Neighbors stuff mentioned below is (and don't want to get involved with that), but I have already spoken favorably about E.R. Roofing to several of my actual neighbors.

I found E R Roofing on Angie's a List and called based on the reviews. I spoke with Elliott on a Friday afternoon and he came out the next day in the morning as promised. He was very professional and knows his trade well. The rates were reasonable and I will definitely use him again.

Explained the anticipated job, provided a firm estimate, performed on schedule (in cold weather). Crew was very politie and answered my questions. Cleanup was well done in 4" of snow! No Problems to date.

This process was smoother than we expected. Elliott was onsite walking our roof the same day we called for an estimate. The only contractor which actually walked the roof while providing the estimate. Elliott provided a fair price and patiently waited while we received two additional estimates from other local roofing companies. After speaking with two other companies it was obvious we were going to go with E R Roofing. They were there punctually at 7am the morning of the job and were done and gone before we got home from work that evening (as promised). Roof looked great and cleanup was so good you did not even know they were there. We would recommend Elliott and E R Roofing to anyone. Thanks Elliott!!!

Very good job, and we're very pleased.

He came out an fixed some possible leaks on a peak cap. Unfortunately, took several months to verify the leak was repaired, based upon some eventual rain storms. Considering the amount of time that was spent on the work, $349 seemed a bit high. But he did offer to return if the leak continued, which it hasn't so far.

Elliot was great. He was very responsive and his team worked very hard and very fast, completing the whole job in a single day. They were great on the cleanup, with nary a stray nail found, and they even came in the house and cleaned up after the skylight replacement. Elliot did everything from the initial quote to being on site during the whole job. Even better, ER was the cheapest bid we got.

When we decided to install solar panels for generating electricity, it was clear that our roof would need to be replaced this year rather than next. Realizing that solaris a big investment, we shopped as carefully for a roofer as for a solar contractor. After analyzing six bids, we selected E.R. Roofing, and we made an excellent decision. Our job was done professionally and economically, with close consultation every step of the way. We?re completely happy with the professionalism of the ER staff and with the final job, which has drawn compliments from neighbors and friends. Usually, we throw out the highest and lowest estimates, assuming that the lowest will cut corners and the highest packs unnecessary profit. In this case, we?re glad we re-visited that rule. ER?s estimate was considerably lower than the competitors, some of whom are on Angie?s List as well, but I liked President Elliott Wireman?s candid and detailed presentation. ER and 2 of the competing bidders (among the highest we received) are Certified Certainteed installers, using top-quality materials and tested procedures that result in an extended guarantee. So why was ER?s bid roughly 65% of that of their competitors? I asked Elliott that question, and his response was modest, but instructive: ?Beats me. We pay the same for materials and labor.? But I know why. One company salesman drove up in a brand-new truck that must have cost $70,000. Elliott arrived in a slightly battered Silverado with a few years on it. Another sales manager left a booklet identifying managers, overseers, CEOs, CFOs, nearly enough bureaucracy for a small state government department. That overhead mounts up. And consumers pay for it. With ER, the president handles sales, scheduling, materials, and installation. The long day they installed our roof, Elliott worked with his staff all day except for an hour or so during which he estimated another job. There was no need for a quality control guy. The boss was on the roof. With a hammer. ER also managed the unique features of our installation cordially and well. Elliott reached out to our installer, so everyone knew what needed to be done, and when. The installer requested that the roofers move a vent pipe to allow panels in a high-efficiency location, and ER readily completed this, asking only that I provide the additional materials (pvc pipe and fittings). We wanted to install a sun tube, and that required cutting a hole in the roof deck and working with the solar installer to stay away from space needed for panels. At our solar installer?s suggestion, we selected a light colored shingle. Because Certainteed offers only one energy-star roof, ?Silver Birch,? we went with that. Elliott willingly amended to final bill to indicate exactly how much of the project cost covered the shingles, because only those expenses qualify for a tax credit. There was one minor glitch, and ER responded effectively on the go. A worker forgot that the sun tunnel hole had been cut, then covered with felt, and he fell part way through our ceiling. Fortunately, he wasn?t hurt and I had some sheetrock scraps. He set to work and repaired the hole in the ceiling while his fellow workers continued with the roof. We?re completely satisfied with ER?s work and would recommend them without reservation to anyone needing a roof but eager to get full value.

They started on 10/22/2013 and completed the roof shingle replacement in one day, as they brought a large crew as the roof area was quite extensive. The only complaint my wife had is that they were not very careful in disposal of the old shingles, and she did not like the fact that they did not care about her extensive plantings. Other than that one glitch they did a great job. We told Elliott their chief to train his workers about that one aspect of the job. They came back the next couple of days and completed the siding replacement and cleaned up before they left.

He did a great job repairing some minor leaks on our roof. He was courteous and professional and was able to work our repair in the same day we called. He also performed an inspection of our entire roof for any other potential issues. We would recommend him.

Elliott was awesome. I could not have wished for a better experience. He was in constant contact with me, answered all of my questions. Lets face it - we don't install roofs everyday, so we have a lot of questions and not alot of experience. Well, Elliott has the experience and has no problem answering your questions. He is not pushy, he takes the time to explain the process. He shows up when he says he will and takes pride in his work. This job could not have gone smoother. A real professional. I would highly recommend. Now his call backs and email replies are usually in the evening- I guess he is working during the day. When he first arrived, he got out of his truck and said "Look, I'm not a salesman, I'm the guy who's going to measure your roof, I'm the guy who's going to be up there with my crew installing your roof and I stand behind my work." And that pretty much says it all. I did have salesmen with the fancy cars, with high dollar secretaries give me estimates. And in that company, the right hand didn't know what the left hand was doing. And their prices were 50% higher. I guess I had to pay for the fancy car. I'm telling you, stick with Elliott.

ER Roofing was contracted to replace seven townhome roofs in my neighborhood, including mine. Because I've known Elliott, I acted as the main point of contact for all seven neighbors. Initially, things were great. There was good communication to get pricing, quotes and to get scheduled. There was confusion in selecting colors - I understood that we would be able to see samples beforehand, but we only could access colors online. Neighbors that did not look online were given a best matching shingle. The work went relatively smoothly to the best of my non-expert knowledge. Two neighbors had and still have concerns/questions regarding the work that was done on their house - which makes me question the same regarding my house. I reached out to Elliott three separate times and asked him to call the two neighbors with concerns. No contact has been made. Not only would it have been nice for Elliott to reach out to the neighbors after I asked, but as a home owner replacing a roof, a follow up call after the work is complete would be great. Replacing a roof is one of the most expensive things a homeowner will have done and a call to ask how the work went, if we are satisfied, etc. would be very much appreciated.

Worker arrived on time, explained what he would do, and performed the service promptly and efficiently.

I called Elliott and set up an appointment, he showed up on time and was able to answer all my questions in detail, he explained to me how each phase of our project would be completed, what materials they would be using and an approximate time line. I was impressed when he climbed up on our roof to inspect, ( he was the only one that did that) after deciding to move ahead with E.R. Roofing the job was scheduled and the materials were ordered. The day they started elliott and his team arrived on time and got right to work. They did everything they said they were going to do and were able to finish the work the day that they said they would. Elliott was there every day working with his team, they all were very polite and accommodating, they even took off their shoes when they came inside to change the windows or use the bathroom. I could not be happier with way our project turned out

It took a while to get started because of their schedule, but job was done in a day. They forgot about the piece of the trim, but they ordered it and came back without a problem. Very neat and clean! They were also very reasonably priced considering I got 6 estimates.
