Dealt with Elliot, very nice and easy to work with. He came out to give the initial estimate. Work was scheduled a few weeks after contract was signed. He called to schedule the actual date about a week in advance, and the work was done in one day, on the scheduled day. They replaced the whole roof with Certainteed Landmark (50-year) shingles, did all the flashing, replaced one ridge vent and added another, replaced 3 skylights and fixed a relatively large portion of our cedar shake siding. Property was cleaned up by the time I saw it. Roof looks good, and they gave a great warranty on workmanship. No complaints, very happy with the price and work.

The initial roof & gutter replacement estimate began with ER Roofing Company and was timely, professional, informative and worthwhile. I received additional estimates from other roofing companies and each was lacking in one way or another...pricing or over-pricing, roof replacement data, company and roofing materials literature and follow-up communication. I received a folder with complete information from Elliott at ER Roofing that had everything I needed as I worked my way through the decision process of which company to choose. I found myself referring to the ER Roofing information folder often. All of my questions were answered promptly by Elliott Wireman and often times with a useful link for the item in question to help me understand the material being used or the process. Elliott was very fair as I made considerations and choices for the roof and gutter replacement for my home. The new roof and gutter installation went as planned and as within the terms of the signed contract. It was done in one day from start to finish with not even a trace of all the activity by day's end. It was quite remarkable to view the transformation from the worn-out 25 year old roof to the new one. From tear down of the old shingles to installation of the new ones and all the steps in between, ER Roofing's crew worked seamlessly, efficiently, carefully and professionally with this major home improvement. ER Roofing was prompt, professional, very cordial, stress-free with quality job. Elliot Wireman and his crew openly entertained all of my questions and helped me work through options (especially regarding attic venting on our old house). The price was extremely fair and reasonable compared to other roofers.

The quality of services was very very poor. He seemed very professional during the estimation process or before the work started, Once he started the work, he is extremely unprofessional and unresponsive. The material he provided was of a lesser quality than what was agreed on the contract. He did give me a price reduction for that but only because I confronted him. If I did not notice that the roofing material was of a lesser quality then he would not have given me a price reduction. He is kind of fake. He did not finish the other side of the boarding work as he did not know how to go around the electrical wires. And he agreed to come back and finish the work. But regardless of my repeated attempt to contact him, he never responded. I blame myself as I picked him because he gave me a much lower price than the other companies that I have contacted. But roofing is a huge investment, I should have gone for other companies with little higher price. I would not recommend this company.

This company I would use again if I need to, I find their recommendations on other providers as well to be excellent. They don't leave until the job is complete and the customer is satisfied.

I discovered that the nails he used had gone through my dry wall in the master bedroom closet. Elliott's solution to the nails that came through my drywall was to nail them out from the inside. He said he would check to make sure the siding was still secure. He climbed up on the roof, looked at it and came back down. He told me just to be on the "lookout for something blowing off" and he left. The shame of it all is that I trusted him. The next day I had a Realtor come to appraise the house. She looked up at the repair and said "what happened", your siding is loose. I hadn't looked at Elliott's repair, remember I said "I trusted him..". Well, I shouldn't have. What he said was ok after he pounded the nails out, left a gap of a full inch that would allow water to flow right in the next time it rained. After seeing that, I called him, I texted him and told him that I needed him to come out, I even took a pictures. After 5 or 6 attempts, he finally comes back out and uses shorter nails and hammers it all back in. Well, that was worse, this time the vinyl siding was squished up against the house so tight, that the lap siding was flattened in linearly over an area of about 5 feet. When I got home that day, I could not believe what I was seeing, the gap was gone but now my NEW siding looked beat up and flattened, not to mention now my roof was curling from him moving up and down it. I called him, he assured me he would be back to take a look at it. He's never showed back up but he keeps promising. I wish I could upload pictures of the crappy work. In my opinion, he stole $850 from me because now I have to have someone in to repair his poor work. I trusted this guy.. my house was supposed to be on the market by now but I can't sell it looking like this.

First of alI, I have to say that we used this company in the past on two different occasions (two minor jobs) and we were happy with the quality of work performed. Well, the third time was not the charm. Sometime early August I was able to get in touch with Elliott, the owner and we were trying to get the date set for him or his assistant/partner to come to our house and inspect the work I wanted done. At this point I was considering fixing the gutters, so another small job, but I was also considering installing the new gutters. Elliott called me to set the time and day his assistant would stop by and I believe we sat it to be 4:30. When no one showed up I called Elliott and a bit later, his assistant called and apologized for apparently not knowing that Elliott has set up this appointment. I was upset since I had to leave work early (I work in Virginia, and live in Maryland), but the young man was polite and we set another day for him to show up. He said he would be working nearby and would stop by after finishing work at that site. I waited and waited, and needless to say, no one showed up, nor called. Since this situation was handled in a very unprofessional way, I cannot possibly recommend E R Roofing to my friends and neighbors, or anyone else. I hope they learn a lesson on how not to treat a customer and use this experience to improve. I wish them all the best, because we all know that growing a successful business is not easy.

Provided Estimate - Excellent The work estimate was the same as the two other companies that provided me an estimate. E R Roofing's was lower than the others. Timeliness - Excellent Elliott kept in contact with me to determine a date to do the work. He worked with me as I got the approvals from the homeowner's association. Promptness - Excellent His crew came out and coordinated the work the day before. Elliott stopped in also to make sure everything was ready. Day of Work - Excellent Crew showed up at 6 am to start the work. They were very professional and worked non-stop to remove the old roof and then put on the new one. Elliott provided supervision of the project although he had a foreman overseeing his work crew. A real superb work crew. Clean Up - Excellent. They cleaned up everything and swept the area for nails. Price - Excellent I bought the CertainTeed Landmark Pro Shingles and am extremely pleased. I would recommend this shingle and ER Roofing to anyone needing a new roof.

He showed up, looked at the roof, was very nice, said my roof was fine and suggested that I get a refund.

It went well. They did put holes in 4 of our house screens, but we were reimbursed for the material to repair them. I'm sure if I had taken them somewhere to be repaired they would have covered that expense as well. All work was completed in 1 day.

On July 16th, I purchased a roof maintenance package. I have spoken to the contractor and this deal isn't right for the repairs I need. Please, issue a refund.

I called Elliott on July 21st for a roof leak repair. I was out of town on business and wanted to get the leak repaired before we got another storm. By noon on the same day, the leak was repaired!! Since the repair, we had a short, moderate thunderstorm. I didn't see any leakage. I will certainly use their service again if the need arises. I gave ER Roofing a C grade in Responsiveness only because of my initial contact. I sent them an email, which never got responded to. And when calling for the first time, nobody answered, I wanted to leave a voice mail, the mailbox was full, so I was unable to leave a message. Since ER Roofing had great reviews, I didn't look for another roofer. I just kept trying until I they answered!

This was a wonderful experience. The crew arrived promptly, protected all of the plants surrounding the house with tarps, did a great job on the roof and cleaned up completely. The price was lower than I had expected and I've got absolutely no complaints.

I consulted with multiple contractors before deciding to go with E R Roofing Company. I was very impressed by Elliott Wireman?s relaxed and detailed explanations of what the work would entail. I felt no pressure and was more than satisfied that Elliott was extremely competent. That he offered the best price was an added bonus but wasn't the deciding factor. I need to feel confident about a company that I let work on my home, and I felt that much more with E R Roofing Company than the other companies I consulted with. Elliott and his team finished the entire new roof installation in one day and did a fantastic job. They had to remove two layers of old shingles yet left my yard spotless. My wife and I have received numerous compliments on how nice our house looks with the new roof. I can't recommend E R Roofing Company highly enough.

Elliott Wireman was very responsive and professional. His quote was competitive and very detailed incl. what materials he would be using. It gave me confidence and I was not disappointed. The job was done within 2 weeks and completed in one day (2 roofs and a wrap around porch). After removing the old roofing, it became clear that we needed completely new decking on the main building. We gave the go ahead and the job was finished by 3:30 that afternoon, including good cleanup. Excellent work !

Upon the recommendation of a friend, I called E R Roofing to get an estimate for siding for my mother's house. He called about a week after my initial phone message and he set up an appointment for the next day to go to my mother's house and give her an estimate for siding her house. He never showed up, nor did he call. Giving him the benefit of the doubt, I sent him a text message yesterday asking him to call me to set up another appointment for this week. Once again, never heard from him.

I cannot say enough good things about ER Roofing. They are professional, honest, fast and a real pleasure to work with. I would trust these folks with my kids! You just don't find this kind of service anymore. The product is superior and the staff is great. I told my brother of the great experience and he was the next roof to be installed! After that, my brother's neighbor had his roof done by ER Roofing, and then the neighor's daughters! This is no joke. Call ER roofing and ask them if this did not happen. These guys are awesome!

Elliot called back quickly, came out on a weekend and gave me a price. then he did the work promptly a couple of days later. So far it has been fine.

Overall, Elliott and his crew did an excellent job with the roof. I am most concerned with the results, cost, and quality of the work - not so concerned about timeliness, which worked well. Elliott seemeed to be very busy at the time so it was a little tricky pinning down a good time to do the work. In the end, we were able to schedule smack dab in the dead of winter, and Elliott did not flinch. Regarding the results, the roof looks great and more importantly, I have not had a leak (I am writing this approximately 1.5 years after installation. Regarding the cost, Elliott came in with what I thought was a fair bid. I had other roofing companies come out with salesman, and they me ridiculous prices that I can only account to overhead. Elliott is a roofer, which I liked. Elliott is fairly no nonsense (he will likely not be recommending color schemes for you so I would figure that our on your own) - if you are ok with that, I definitely recommend working with him.Lastly, the quality of the work appears to be great. As I mentioned, I have not had any problems since installation, and I expect this roof to last a very long time.

This is my first time hiring a contractor to replace my roof, so I took my time and carefully reviewed different contractorsbefore I hire a contractor to do a job. I got 4 bids in and ER was one of them. I didn't get to talk to ER alot when he first came out to inspect my roof to give me an estimate because I had a suprise visitor. However, ER answered all my questions over emails and phone calls. At the end of the day, i hired ER to replace my roof because of following; quality of product he uses, reasonable price, communication, workable and warrantee period. 1. Quality of product: I researched different products since all contractors I got bid from used different products. Certainteed, GAF, and Tamko. They all had up and downs but I decided to pick Certainteed, which ER uses, over other products based on contractors and people's review of their designs 2. Reasonable Price: ER's bid was very competitive against others. So nothing more to say here 3. Communication: His communication and responsiveness to my questions were very good. He didn't really do alot of sales speech, which is great. I just hate those alot of sales speech... 4. Workable: He was very resasonable to work around my schedule for the roof installation day based on my requirements. I had to move one day back because I couldn't take a day off from work to watch the installation. 5. Warrantee period: he offers 20 yr labor warranty and Certaineed Pro backing up 50 yr material warranty. Now, the installation day. His crews show up little before 7am and started work their way through it. His crews are very friendly and I never spotted them goofing off. Only time I saw them laying on the ground was during their lunch time. It took them about 9 hours to complete the entire work. The work was done very professionally and everything was cleaned out. ER did the final inspection at the end of the day. ER and his crews left my house after the completion of the job and left a happy home owner behind.

They arrived on time with a large crew so the work was performed faster than we expected. Our roof was leaking pretty badly and we are happy to report that in recent flooding episodes, we have had no leaks. The roof looks great and will hopefully last us another 25 years! Eliot is easy to work with, professional, and good at what he does. We have already recommended his services to our neighbors.

It went very well, he was punctual and professional. He gave me all the information on roof that I needed. I haven't made a decision yet on replacing roof but he will be considered if we do.

ER Roofing did and excellent job. They understood the real damage that needed to be addressed, and quoted accordingly (no surprises). Some other vendors only focused on shingle replacement or silly things (a solar powered attic fan). Due to a planned trip and other commitments, it was about 3 weeks from deposit to actual roof replacement. They were able to install a tarp over the most damaged area of the roof, keeping things dry and under control until the actual work could be completed. Elliott at ER Roofing, was always professional and responsive to my communications. His crew was courteous, took care not to damage plants at edge of the house, and cleaned up everything when work was completed. All work (see list above) was completed in a single day, with a 20 year warranty on all workmanship.
