BROADHURST TREE SVC INC

We had a giant oak tree fall on our house 12/22/2012, which was the Saturday before Christmas. I called about eight tree service companies, and only got voice mail, nobody called back. Finally, I called Broadhurst Tree Service and Richard Broadhurst answered on the first ring. He was at our house within the hour. Since the tree was so large, he had to get a crane the next morning at 7:00 to remove the tree from our house. Then he and his workers (this is a family business) cut up the tree, set it aside and cleaned up every scrap and twig. They put plywood over the huge hole in our roof and wrapped the roof in a tarp. Then they came inside "shored" up the trusses that came through the ceiling and installed foam board to seal out the cold. (This, of course, is a temporary fix until a contractor can come and do the repairs.) If it wasn't for Broadhurst Tree Service I don't know what we would have done and Christmas would have been ruined, for sure. We asked Richard to come back on 1/3/2012 and take down four more oaks, which were too close to the house and are located on a hill in the backyard. Although, the trees were in a difficult location, they dropped the trees, with such precision that all of my ornamental trees were totally missed and not damaged.
