Bob took care of an old paving problem I had at my house and he made some suggestions to help me with a drainage/erosion issue I had. When we agreed on the work and price, he and his crew showed up when he said they would and they got everything done. Bob and crew were great to work with.

Bob and his crew were phenomenal. We had so many drainage and water erosion issues with the driveway BEFORE. Bob came in assessed the problems and basically rebuilt the entire upper part of the driveway. We couldn t be more please with the results. Not only is it beautiful... our water shed problems have been eliminated... The slope and upper driveway disperses the water evenly so no more erosion. We hired Bob Nichols Paving to install a concrete basketball pad in our backyard. Per the contract, they were to first level the ground, lay a stone foundation with wire mesh, and then pour concrete. Instead, they poured concrete directly onto the dirt, using twice as much concrete as included in the contract, and for which they tried to charge us significantly more than the signed contract. They did not finish the job until we persisted to get them to come back to cut expansion joints to prevent it from cracking and also to smooth it out so that it did not tear up the skin of anyone who walked on it. Furthermore, we have had significant pooling of water, probably because they did not install it properly. After 8 separate email communications and phone call attempts, they have still not fixed it. I advise staying away from this business.

Before I found Bob Nichols Paving, I called several paving contractors to resurface my 132 ft x 18.5 ft. driveway. One contractor said twice that he was with a customer and would call back, but never did. A second contractor provided a reasonable estimate, but the next day his company rejected the estimate and emailed me a quote that was outrageous. The son of the owner of another company would only point to his web site to provide answers to my questions. He demanded a 20% down payment. When I sent a check, it got lost because the address on his web site was incorrect. He was afraid he would not get paid and said his daddy told him not to do the job. So, after 3 weeks of dealing with jerks, I found Bob Nichols Paving on HomeAdvisor. I called and Bob answered the phone. He was at another job site, but stopped by and provided a price that was very reasonable. He explained in detail how he would accomplish the resurfacing and that he could do the job the next day. The next day Bob and his team resurfaced my driveway using professional paving equipment and the result is seamless and spectacular! I'm very pleased with the quality of workmanship and strongly recommend Bob Nichols Paving.

The crew doing the job were efficient, timely and high quality craftsmen. They worked liked a well oiled machine, together. They were very responsive to our questions and very professional. They did a through cleanup. We are very satisfied with their work. I would hire them again, if I needed their services.

I have had a very very unpleasant experience with Bob Nichols Paving. They did a terrible job on repaving my home driveway as a huge puddle of water leaks into my garage every time it rains because they did not make the asphalt level at the entrance to the garage. They created a small slope in the driveway toward the garage doors instead where water just pours down into the garage. It has been 6 months since I have emailed them and complained. They also took down my down spout to pave the driveway and never put it back up and left it hanging. They also made the pavement too high so I could not open my shed doors that were butting up against the asphalt. I had to email them 2 or 3 times to get them to fix it but they did come out and just cut a chunk of the paving leaving it unfinished. I have filed a complaint against them with the Better Business Bureau. Two home contractors came to work on the inside of my house and both said it was a terrible job and they should fix it. I do not think they know how so I would like compensation. They called and asked for an appointment to come look at what they did wrong and never even showed up or called to say they were not coming. They would not even give me a receipt for the work they did but I have the original contract signed by the person that came out and a copy of the cashed check. If you are an older woman they will take advantage of you as I am a single, 62 year old woman. These people do not care about customer service and this is an accurate account of my dealings with Bob Nichols Paving.

He took out two big trees and some bushes to expand my driveway. Regarded my front yard so the water drain properly. The sealing coating is what make me smile. A TOTAL AND COMPLETE JOB! Best of all... he out bid three other competitors. He saved me over $1200.00. The job was done on 4/16/2019.

Bob Nichols did a terrific job replacing our driveway. He's honest and straightforward, and did his best when needing to reschedule because asphalt wasn't available. The quality of the work was excellent.
