Atlas did a fantastic job with my attic spray foam installation project.

The team from Atlas did an excellent job of installing spray foam in my attic, adding additional loose fill in another portion of my attic, and sealing my ducts. Would certainly hire again for other insulation projects and highly recommend them.

Good group of people in the office and in the field. Did a good job spray foaming my attic space and came back out again when they missed a spot. Duct seal and vents personel did a good job and knew what they were doing. Weatherstripping is not their specialty, not worth it but forced to do it because it's part of the audit. Did not do a good job at it either. Overall though we were glad we did it and they did a decent job at it

Run do not walk! Abandoned job in the middle of a project after they ripped down half my existing insulation. Have so far refused to put it back. NO communication after repeated phone calls and emails. Weeks went by with no response and then, finally they made up a bunch of bogus claims that I would need to excavate the crawlspace which would cost me $30,000. Not true, their own people told me the job could be done. Work was abandoned on 11/18 and still no resolution on 12/27. Communication is poor internally as well, as they keep sending workers to my house to do other projects that were part of the scope. No one clued them in. Poor management on all levels.

We contacted Atlas for an attic insulation estimate. They persuaded us to pay $100 for an energy audit which put us into the Maryland rebate program. As we discussed the project I told the estimator that our kids bedrooms had never gotten much airflow. He said they could seal the holes in the ducts with a spray system. Long story -short: they found we were losing 49% of our conditioned air through holes in the ducts into walls and ceilings. Atlas did the insulation, the duct sealing, installed exhaust fans in the bathrooms, sealed basement walls, and weather-sealed two doors. Their workers were professional, efficient, and incredibly courteous. With the rebate we got incredible value for our costs. Not cheap but worth every penny. HIghly recommended.

Our first interaction with Atlas was with Shannon. As knowledgeable and personable as one could hope for. She clearly explained cost effective measures to better insulate our house. We opted for sealing and insulating our attic and weather stripping a number of doors. We were very pleased with the workmanship and the energy savings they produced. They also helped us get a PEPCO credit which reduced the overall cost of the job. A winner!

I hired Atlas Home Energy Solutions to remove old insulation and replace it with the foam technique. However, I ran into numerous unexpected problems due to a slow leak from old pipes. It took awhile to sort out. Atlas Home Energy Solutions gave me lots of expert advice. They were willing to come out and review the situation. They were also willing to reschedule and wait until another contractor dealt with the water issue and its ensuing problems. They helped me make some difficult decisions before they could insulate the crawl space. When it was ready for them to come and insulate the area they bumped their schedule forward to get it done. This company did sterling work. Their expertise and professionalism were outstanding. They really know what they are doing and guided me through a more protracted process than originally envisioned. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

We were referred to Atlas by PEPCO's home energy audit, and they did a great job from start to finish. They had great communication and customer service, with a thorough explanation of what needed to be done to make our home more energy efficient and comfortable. We're quite pleased with the quality of the work. They also recommended several vermiculite remediation companies when we discovered we needed to remove some vermiculite in the attic. The insulation crew itself was very professional and friendly. The insulation work was completed in December of 2019, and my only regret is that we did not do this years earlier. Our gas and electric bills are lower, but what's really amazing is how much more comfortable our 70 year old house is in the winter. Highly recommend!

Did the home audit which was great and everything explained in a manner that I could understand. Just waiting on the report and proposal to start the projects they recommend. Great customer service, communication and very professional!! Highly recommend!!!

I selected this company because they are a member of my energy provider's energy saving program network. The customer service was top notch and the insulation installation team was top rate. There was a problem with the aeroseal team assigned to seal any holes in the air vents. The aeroseal solution leaked throughout the house, even into drawers, closets, on clothes, everywhere. It took over a month to clean up. Throughout this process, the owners remained in contact and assisted as best they knew how. The cleanup was stressful, but in the end, all worked out and I have noticed an improvement in energy savings. Thanks!

We haven't received our quote yet, so don't know about work quality or value for the money. The customer service was beyond excellent. Took their time examining our home and explained everything perfectly.

They were very professional and did exactly what they said they would do. They finished fast and the results were seen immediately. The attic insulation they installed made it much warmer the first night. Ashley, Nolen, and Jorge were a pleasure to work with.

This company is very professional and performed a great job. They insulated my attic and basement crawl space. They installed exhaust fans in 2 bathrooms, they installed weatherproof stripping at 2 entrances and sealed all ducts. Today it is 13 degrees outside and the difference from last winter is mind blowing. From the top floor to the basement level the vents are blowing consistent warm air, all rooms are comfortable and I can walk around bare foot. At the end, they even helped me apply for the rebate from Balto Gas and Electric. The final proof will be in my G&E bills. I expect to see some savings.

They sealed and insulated 1194 sq foot main attic; properly routed 3 vents (bathroom fan, kitchen fan, dryer vent) in main attic to external locations; caulked all 21 windows and 11 baseboard heaters around house. Our Atlas Home Energy experience was, by far, the BEST contracted service we have had since we moved to our home in 2013. The ATLAS workers were prompt, clean and professional from start to finish. The office staff / energy auditors (Ben & Jorge) answered all of my MANY questions prior to the work being performed. The job took a whole day from about 8 am till 4:30 pm. The foreman / owner (Mike) kept me updated throughout the day and, using his cell phone, even showed me pictures of the work in progress. We bought a small rancher built in 1980 and have made many modifications to make the home more wheelchair friendly and comfortable. Since 2013, we have contracted services to have walls moved, 15 windows replaced, 2 bathrooms gutted and rebuilt, kitchen remodeled, driveway and sidewalks repaired, 12 x 20 foot sunroom added, and landscaping done. So we are not unfamiliar with how a company performs. And my husband and I had completed many DYI projects over the 23 years we lived in our previous home. So, prior to the insulation project, I had researched guidelines online, thinking that I might be able to save money by doing the insulation myself. That would have been a BIG mistake: since ATLAS is an approved home energy expert partnering with Potomac Edison for Maryland's Home Performance with ENERGY STAR® program, they even completed all the rebate paperwork for us to save 1/2 of the cost of the project ($3797 / 2 = $1898.50 final cost). We got an estimate from another company which was a comparable cost. The reason we chose ATLAS was because they could do the proper venting at the same time as insulating and the other company could not. I'm SO GLAD that we went with ATLAS!

They sealed and added insulation in the attic, sealed the interface between the concrete and wood foundation in the in the cellar, they caulked the windows, and restored the overhang on the first floor. The work went very smoothly. They showed up on time, took great care in protecting my belongings, did the work they identified very quickly, and made sure all of my questions and issues were addressed. I plan on having them back in the future for some additional work that is needed.
