Description of Work: Came the same day I called. Brought in a ladder. Climbed in the attic. Determined that my problem was mice, not the larger varmints they handle. No charge. Gave me the business card of someone who could help. | |Was so nice I'm almost wishing of an attack by raccoons so I might call him back.

+ -1 moreIt has been some time ago and long before I was on Angie's List but still worth reviewing. I kept hearing scratching in the attic and even went up to see that I had a squirrel and a store of black walnuts in my attic. ABC came out and assessed the situation and determined that what I was hearing at night was mice since the squirrels were not nocturnal. On the appt date they blocked cracks, spaces, gutters etc. Any access to the attic was closed up and on the main entrance, around my attic they put in a sort of one-way door. They left food that would make the squirrels and mice seek water. They would be able to get out but would not be able to get back in. I haven't heard any scratching in the attic since. Here's the big thing though, I had to go to work the day they came and they had to access the attic through the house. i actually left them in my house and went to work. I lived alone at the time and I asked them to lock the door on the way out and didn't have a problem. That says a lot.
