Great Co. Great job...all around pleased.

They arrived on time and did an overview to determine which items would be loaded first. It's very difficult to lug solidly built oak furniture but they managed it notably well. I was very pleased with the management of the job and its successful completion. The Angie's List discount was excellent as well. This was easily a $1,000+ job.

They also did additional work. Some furniture broke but they remembered me. S

It went well. The person doing the scheduling was really good -- I had a couple of date changes I had to make, and she was agreeable and followed up with an email. The staff arrived on time, a bit early in fact, and were efficient and pleasant. I would use them again for an in-town move.

They were very fast and efficient. They were careful with our things with only minimal damage to a few un-important things. They did a good job!

It went great. They were communicative, professional and fast! The only reason I would not use them again is that they are based all the way in Ft Washington and I'm in Anne Arundel, so the gas and mileage fees added up.

I purchased the deal intending to use it to assist with consolidating our stuff prior to a relocation out of state - by moving some of our belongings to a storage unit. I spoke with someone at the moving company and inquired about their availability within the next month. Unfortunately, (but great for them) they were fully booked and could not accomodate us. They were polite, but we had to complete the consolidation with the month so we were not able to use the deal.

They ended up arriving later than expected because they had just done a four-storey move before coming to us. I do not know if it was their fault but as far as their move estimation and scheduling goes, perhaps they could do a little better job on that. They were probably two or three hours late. They give a window but they told me that they would be there at about 1:00 and they ended up getting there at about 3:00 so we arrived here at almost 10:00 at night. They got hit on their punctuality but we would possibly use them again in the future.

Everytime I called, he called right back. He was there on time, with a happy disposition with his 3 helpers. They went right to work, and did everything I asked of them, including carrying two very heavy file cabinets upstairs. I would easily us them again.

They did a good job. They were professional, the showed up on time, and finished on time. The only concern I had was that they charged an additional almost 200 Dollars even though I was just moving 3 or 4 miles. They had mileage fee, maintenance fee, and some other fee, and they charged the gas fee and mileage fee from their depot to the house, and back to their depot. That was frustrating.

Top level service, friendly, arrived and finished on time. No damages, and they took time to hook up my home theatre cables and devices. I highly recommend and I am extremely happy customer.

We had spoken to motivational movers several times due to the weight and size of the safe to be moved. We needed a truck with a hydrolic liftgate capacity of 2000 lbs and the safe was 7ft high. We were very specific about our requirements and were assured they would be able to accommodate. The morning of our scheduled service the crew showed up with a truck without a hydrolic liftgate so they left to get the right equipment and then returned with a truck that was only 6 1\2'. Unfortunately this was the biggest truck they had in inventory so they were unable to move the safe.

They were exactly on time and arrived ready to start at once. They had a GPS, a super boss on the truck and good administration in the office (Amanda is wonderful with complications!) They found the storage facility with no problem and the truck boss was an expert at packing at both ends. Since I was charged a fee for travel and gas, I tried a company from VA next but the total charge was reasonable and I tipped the crew $20 each or more. I think the local companies were charging me more for "travel".On a negative was the vanishing of an old carpenter's wood clamp. I am not accusing anyone, I just don't know where it went. Otherwise they couldn't have been more professional. They even showed some talent at home repairs.

The big deal turned out okay. We had scheduled the work a month in advance. They were easy to schedule and inexpensive. I didn't like the quality of the work.

I really wanted to keep the grade high and not affect future clients, but the lack of responsiveness and not meeting my (admittedly high) standards for movers forces me to give the overall "fair". Cons: 1. Custom wrapped a 46' Westinghouse TV without marking the right side up, so the TV ended up spending a decent amount of time upside-down and now the internal speakers are broken. Received no response from Amanda (client services) or the company after leaving a nice message. I didn't demand a replacement TV, but wanted to see if they were willing to do SOMETHING (like $100-$200 towards a new one). 2. Understandably, and in-town move is no cross country, so things are not going to be wrapped up really well, but furniture did get gouges, dings, scratches and bumps. The townhouse has some tight angles, but they ended up damaging a door. (I didn't mark them down too much for this) 3. The team worked hard, but there was a sense of "amateur hour", where there was some inefficiencies in spending time (which I pay hourly) and bad habits for professional movers. For example, if the members running the stairs were slower, the loading team could have loaded the stuff in the first room off the entrance instead of just waiting for the runners to catch up. If the truck was fully unloaded, then those members could have started the furniture reassembly earlier. Instead, by the time the runners caught up, the furniture assembly people were still working and then THEY were sitting around and waiting. Screws and parts (shelf pegs) were not always kept together with the furniture it came from, so that was a scramble. Some guys seemed to be in training, which I do NOT fault them for, I am all for training and encouraging new employees, but then the managers should have kept a much tighter leash on damage control, proper labeling, etc. Similar for packing day, the person packing the kitchen could have had an earlier start, instead by the time the rest of the team finished their work, there was a lot of standing around while 1 person packed the rest of the stuff. 4. Lunch was 45 minutes the first day which was not taken off, but lunch was 15-20 minutes the next day (the more expensive day) which WAS taken off. Inconsistent there. They were also 20 minutes late the first day outside of the 1 hour window. I wasn't charged for that time, but if I was in a rush, that would have really annoyed me. (So "good" not "excellent") Pros: I didn't feel ripped off, but I think I would have paid $100-$200 for better quality--which might have prevented the damage to the TV as well. The movers worked hard, overall, and I know the millions of stairs was no fun.

I filled out an online survey to my best ability, but I did miss some things. It would have been a lot easier if the company came out to do an estimate beforehand. It took them 12 hours to move only some of our belongings. I had to pay for the additional hours as well as rent another truck the next day to move the rest of our things ourselves. I also thought it was unfair that the men had to work 12 hours straight without them being able to take a break.

It went fine. I had a local move, from Woodbridge to near Warrenton. Their were additional costs to add additional moving and time. They were moving me for about 6-7 hours. They were very good. Nothing was broken in the move.

Words cannot possibly express the level of satisfaction that my wife and I experienced while working with this company. I say "with" because "you" are an integral part of the whole experience. From Amanda the account manager, to Makhi the foreman (and his 30+ years of transportation and logistics management experience), to every mover on the crew, their professionalism, courtesy, and positively was unparalleled. My wife was more than a little apprehensive with this move and, after about 5 minutes, she was completely at ease with every confidence in their capabilities. While I read previous review and followed many of the suggestions (packing as much as possible in boxes ahead of time and staging them in groups), they never loafed, they took my recommendations/preferences into account, they took our concerns into account, and they took TOP NOTCH care in every possible facet of managing this move. We were so tremendously pleased with their service and their infectiously pleasant demeanor that, not only would we hire them again to handle or next move, but I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone and EVERYONE.

They were great. They showed up on time and did what they said they would do. They were really nice. I found them on Angie's List. The price was reasonable. They are reliable. I would use them again.

The company hadd too many hidden fees and weren't really responsive. I had to wait several days before they answered my phone calls or responded to my emails.

They were very organized but was going to charge me more when I told them everything I wanted to move. I had about 24 boxes in one room that needed to be moved.

These guys know what they're doing. Bought an Angies List coupon for 5 guys for 4 hours - they moved a three bedroom house from Annapolis, MD to Silver Spring in about 3.5 hours. They never slacked off and were very careful to make sure they pre-inspected everything prior to moving. My only wish is that they used more furniture padding when moving some of the larger items as my walls got a little scuffed up - but that is part of moving. Als - they send a foreman/supervisor that stays the entire time and really just watches the guys and helps them think through moving some of the larger items. They are extremely efficient. Great job - would definitely use them again.
