We loved Motivational Movers! The crew (Matthew, Sean, Shed) that moved my mother and sister were absolutely GREAT! They arrived on time at 10am-430pm (on time!). My family lived in a garden apartment on the 4th floor with NO ELEVATORS!!! They moved to a building with elevators (yay!) It was an extremely hot day and we made sure that the crew had plenty of water. Everyone was very friendly and professional. I would definiftely recommend Motivational Movers in the future!!! There was only one drawback for us -- there were no hand trucks to move the boxes and plastic crates. I understand that damage can be caused with wood and metal touching, but I do believe that if we had a few hand trucks (I had my own personal one) to move the boxes and crates from the elevator to the unit, that we could have cut about 60 minutes or so from the move. The guys were EXTREMELY strong and never complained about carrying multiple crates and boxes. I just felt bad that it could have been done a little bit more efficiently if hand trucks were used on the box items. Nevertheless ... I will definitely be recommending Motivational Movers to all of my friends and co-workers. Thank you very much. Lori Opiotennione, Lisa Henriques and Arlene Bailey :-)

Motivational Movers exceeded our expectations. Initially they were hard to connect with, it wasn't easy to get a live person on the phone for my first couple of phone calls but once I spoke with someone everything went very smoothly. They arrived promptly and finished the move from our one bedroom apartment into storage pods in one hour. They were professional and packed everything into our storage pods in a way that made sense. It was a huge relief to have them help us on our moving day - they very much exceeded our expectations and we would highly recommend them to others.

The owner of motivational movers was very courteous and responsive to email and by phone. They showed up on time and provided three mover with a supervisor so I was happy to have four people for the cost of three. Unfortunately the four people did not equate to a reduction in time. The staff did not have power tools to deconstruct the bed frame, I had to go get my tools to get this done. The other item that bothered me was they did not protect any large items with plastic, I am used to movers covering the bed with plastic as well as picture frames and other pieces from debris and dirt in the truck, none of this happened and as a result I can notice damage to picture frames. One of the workers was very knowledgeable but the other two did not seem to have moved much furniture before, this lead to one of them breaking my entertainment center, to the credit of motivational movers they gave me a hundred dollar discount but it doesn't change the fact that the item was damaged due to carelessness of the mover. Overall I would not recommend choosing motivational movers unless they can promise that your items will be covered, they supply power tools, and professionals who will not damage your stuff. Also, days after the move I noticed one painting was missing, this was extremely painful as that painting had significant meaning to me and cannot be replaced.

They are very good. I would use them again in the future.

My email and phone conversations were all handled punctually and professionally. This was a very last-minute move with less than a week's notice approaching a holiday weekend. This was no problem for them. The movers were punctual (not just on time, but a little early). They had no trouble taking pieces apart, packing and supporting them appropriately in the truck, and transporting them in a careful but timely manner. When we arrived at the destination, all items were put in place in perfect condition. There were several sets of stairs and hard corners to negotiate and they did a superb job.

If I had know the move would go so smoothly, I would not have sold my antiques and I would have let them handle an additional local move, instead of struggling by myself. This was the first drama free, smooth move I have ever had. I can't say enough about what a fabulous job Motivation Movers did! I will use them again and recommend them to all of my friends and coworkers.
