Description of Work: Install attic steps which included cutting into the attic floor, framing it out so the steps could be installed so we could access the attic and use the attic for storage. Install plywood on the attic floor so the space could be used for storage. Install drywall in the ceiling and wood around the opening so it looks natural. Install wire mesh screening over the attic interior gable vents. Build a barrier around the ceiling heater/fan to prevent insulation from falling in the bathroom when the unit is turned on and refurbish the gable vents. Checked gutters, fascia board and soffits and made the necessary repairs because of leaking. Build a structure in the washroom to hang clothes on, repoint mortar joints around the edges, added wire screening on exterior gable vents. Hang extremely large paintings, fill in a gap between the floor and the wall in the bedroom closet and add the baseboard and quarter round to finish the job. LFC is our go to company for all our projects. In May we had extensive work done in the house which included plastering, drywall, painting, electrical etc.

Unfortunately, doing these repairs was not under the best of circumstances, but LFC Services did everything they could to accommodate our schedule. They were prompt and very courteous. They completed everything that we needed and we will definitely have them back in the spring.

But we walked in one evening and saw the amazing work that was being done and we both agreed that we could not allow the kitchen to remain as it was. Description of Work: 1. Installed 5 exterior lights and post light (fixtures provided by me) 2. Cleaned and painted iron railing and stairwell hand rail 3. Removed old door bell box on front of house and replaced siding 4. Replaced siding with hole 5. Power washed patios 6. Filled patio joints with sand 7. Pointed up brick walkway 8. Built door to allow access under the porch 9. Installed new screen door on back porch (door provided by me) 10. Installed a piece of molding in the kitchen.

My house actually looked cleaner and tidier when they left than when they arrived. Excellent work.

Description of Work: A team of two workers came out to do various home repairs. This trip they replaced a leaking trap under my garbage disposal, replaced a bad GFCI outlet (which also fixed our problem with two other outlets) and removed, leveled and reset five doors that had begun to drag on carpeting due to our house settling.

+ -1 moreTony and his team were professional, friendly, courteous and answered all the questions I asked. They arrived on time and worked methodically through out the day. They were so precise and fastidious. The repairs took 2 days and at the end of each day not only did they vacuum the areas they wiped everything, including the steps down with a damp cloth. The carpentry for the enclosure was exceptional. He built the enclosure so if I needed access to the circuit breaker panel I just opened the door and closed it. A knob was added so it would be easy to open and a magnet for a secure closing. The best part is if an electrician ever had to work on the panel itself all they would need to do is remove 4 screws and the whole enclosure front would lift off. Once he installed the shelves he said he thought they looked a little plain so he is coming back next week to add some decorative trim so it would look nicer....wow!!!! So very pleased with the work and am now waiting for the pricing for the next project in the house.
Description of Work: Tony and his team had to cover openings in several ceilings and walls as a result of doing an upgrade on the circuit breaker, moving the gas line, and having the gas meter moved form the interior to the exterior of the house. In addition as a result of the earthquake a few years ago there were several cracks in 3 closets; some which were significant. They boxed In the area where the exposed pipes were below the ceiling in one room, they closed up all the openings that were created as a result of of the upgrade and installed access panels. In addition he built a 4 and a half foot enclosure for the huge opening for the new circuit breaker panel and added shelves below.

Mr. Heard was very pleasant and professional and discussed everything that needed to be done after he assessed the damage. He also gave me an estimate for what the cost would be (which was very reasonable). Once the job was completed, Mr. Heard showed and discussed with me everything that was done. In addition, he provided a very detailed breakdown of the labor costs and materials associated with the repair. I will definitely and highly recommend LFC Services to my family and friends and plan to use them for future home repairs.

The contractors were very courteous and professional at all times. One thing that I especially liked was that they took the time to explain in detail what they were going to do prior to starting the job. Then they followed up with a detailed contract outlining everything that was discussed. When the job was done, I was completely satisfied with their work and I would definitely refer and call them again.
Description of Work: My 10 year old backyard fence was falling apart and it desperately needed repairs. The fence needed to be thoroughly cleaned, replace all the cracked wood, and apply sealant/paint.

I was not sure about doing this but I am glad I did. I found LFC to be very prompt in coming out to do what needed to be done. The handy man was very professional, polite, and respectful, also they checked back to make sure that I was satisfied. I was pleased that I followed up and got them to do m repairs.

Their quality of work and customer service was exceptional, which from my personal experience and other family and friends that I know that have used contractors is very rare. I can say in enough they were the absolute best I have ever used not even close. Its a blessing to know that I have a contractor for all my needs for life. When we told them about out last provider, which was not a good experience, he told us to write a list of everything we wanted done and he did just that. Whenever we had a question they could not answer, he would tell us that he wouldn't know and go find the answer for us. When the thumb pump broke after the installation and flooded the basement, they came back over, re-installed a new pump, and cleaned up everything. They did so much work, and we were blown away by their service.
Description of Work: They did a complete remodeling of my basement; installing fire blocking, tile floors. installed a new toilet and marble floor in the bathroom, sanded the floor, and sheet rock work. They also installed the thumb pump and built a platform for my shed.
