Description of Work: I called this vendor based on a referral from a friend (who is a satisfied customer) as well as Angie's. They were prompt in returning my call and with setting up a timely visit for an estimate. The price seemed reasonable. Because I have a number of cats (6+) at any time, I told this to everyone I spoke to because I know from my experience that individuals who are allergic can be quickly and severely affected by just going into a home that has cats. Anyway, the crew of 2 arrived as promised, but one of them said she had asthma and indeed she immediately became totally congested. I was not going to have her continue to try to work as she seemed totally miserable. I sent them away. I know they called the company, which I have no problem with, but unbeknownst to me the company sent another crew. By now it is dinnertime, but,no problem as the woman refused to come in because of my dogs barking (I had told the company rep about the dogs; they bark, but are essentially harmless, and if we know someone who is wary is coming we can put them out in the backyard). We sent them away also. The company rep called to find out what the problem was, but I told her I would call if we wanted to pursue her service. I did not make any further contact.

Description of Work: A team of women would come to clean my house; not always the same team. I would ask for certain things to be done and sometimes they were and sometimes not. One hour and 15 minutes isn't enough time to clean a large house.

Description of Work: Started a bi-weekly cleaning service in Dec. 2012. Cleaners were very young, but worked hard and did pretty good job cleaning, in spite of the low quality cleaning materials. Dusting was a joke, I can slide a "Swiffer" around and get better results. I wanted to give the house a "hit and miss" clean on the off week, not do the hard work and pay them for a "hit and miss" cleaning on their week ! The real "down factor" of this company, and the main reason I write this is the UNPROFESSIONAL manner I was treated! They were due to clean on my usual Friday, April 5th. They had always arrived between 11:00 and 1:00 pm. As I was having a dinner party that night I was really counting on them! Finally, approx. 3:00 pm I called the office and asked if there was a change in plans I wasn't aware of. I had to be called back, and was informed that my team of cleaners were cleaning a new property for the first time and it was taking longer than they had planned. Of course I was irritated by this, I had counted on them! They said they would call me back when they had a better idea of when they could arrive at my house. At approx. 4-4:30 pm a lady call back and informed me they could NOT clean my home this day! I asked if there was some sort of compensation for this serious inconvenience. I was told no, these things happen. They said they could come on Monday to clean, and I explained that I was having a dinner party THAT night! There was no concern for my inconvenience! I finally said "OK, but please have the cleaning team bring my house key with them on Monday because I might not be home, and I might be ending my business with them. She said, and I quote "OK" and hung up. A short time later the manager/owner called, and stated he had been informed of my phone conversation with the lady. He reiterated what the lady had said, that they don't give compensation, I said "Yes, I was told that already, I just find it very unprofessional to treat a current customer this way in order to bring on a new customer." He then said to me "Well, why don't we just put your house key in the mail and you go your way, and we'll go ours". These people do not deserve to have a business, or to have YOUR business!!

Description of Work: I used this company for a little over one year before finally firing them. They cleaned 2 1/2 baths and the kitchen on a bi-weekly basis. The "initial clean" that they did was absolutely fabulous. I was blown away and what a great job they did and how hard the 2 ladies worked. Unfortunately I was not able to keep these fabulous ladies as my regular housecleaners. You do not get a "regular" crew but they do try to provide one person that is consistently assigned to your home and the other person may vary. In less than 2 months of working at my home, they started to miss little things here and there. I reported them to the owner but these things were never really addressed. I thought that perhaps some issues may be that they were used to cleaning homes with a "rotational system" and I was told that I would get a "detailed clean" each time for the few rooms I had done - I never had the entire home done just the bathrooms and kitchen. Overall, the good continued to be good but each time a few things overlooked. As time went on it seemed that it was never going to be addressed.
