Description of Work: I recently received an estimate to repair my front steps for $1700. I wanted a second estimate so I called Bennett. He came out quickly, took a look, but left no estimate. He called and explained that my steps were structurally sound and all I needed to do was pack some dirt back under them. This was after I told him I was ready to spend the money to get them replaced. I know the economy is not good at the moment, and they can’t be drowning in work. Even so, it’s refreshing to see a guy who knows his craft and is honest about it, even when it costs them a job. I pains me that I have no work for them.

Kept us updated about his schedule (had lots of rain which delayed his work) and despite the rain and how busy he was, the time between giving the estimate to the date of the project was only about 2.5 weeks. Called us ahead of time to confirm the date, arrived bright and early on Monday morning, and project was finished that afternoon when I came home from work. Highly recommended!
Description of Work: New concrete patio (14 x 18 ft) poured with aggregate surface. Areas of backyard regraded (swale formed) then seeded to help with storm water management.

Description of Work: R. D. Bennett Construction is a family business that specializes in concrete construction. They also excavated and built a decorative retaining wall. All work was done efficiently to high quality standards. They assisted in the design of a curved concrete walk to the front entrance of our home and replaced damaged concrete in the driveway.
