CHURCHVILLE TILE & MARBLE

It was absolutely horrible. It was a nightmare. The first day they sent in three individuals who didn't speak English and they didn't have green cards. We tried to explain to them what they were suppose to do. So they started work and took everything down. They left everything scraps of junk on or porch because "their truck wasn't big enough." They said they would come back. Two days later, they came back and started to refixed things. They scratched the tub all up. They didn't cock around the tub. The grout cracked and corner shelf in the shower cracked as well. My husband replaced it at his own expense. They laid the tile square and not diagonal like what it was stated in contract. The last day they were there they finished grouting right away. I thought they were suppose to wait. The floor and corners in shower are both cracked. We had to install many things. He tried to over charge me for five other items. He charged us for everything he did. But everything was horrible. They ended putting a marble plate in the hallway. they left the carpet on the thresh hold plate. The total sum of contract $8849. It wasn't completed and we had to finish it ourselves. It was a nightmare, especially when you had to do everything yourself. They didn't do the job well and they didn't complete it. Bill Roach didn't even show up to the job. They didn't do anything in a timely manor and they didn't have the proper equipment. The tile was set unevenly. The were ridges and the grout lines not uniform and they are different shades. They smudged on the ceiling and the walls and corners. The cabinets weren't installed we had to get someone else to install them. They damaged the vanity. They punched holes in the wall and they lost the screws to the door and we had to install it ourselves.

When the men from Churchville arrived they didn't speak English so therefore couldn't t understand me. They punched a hole in my wall trying to install my sink, then could not fix it and the grout in the shower is all cracked and crumbling.

WORKING WITH CHURCHVILLE TILE & MARBLE WAS A VERY FRUSTRATING AND UNPLEASANT EXPERIENCE. THEY STARTED THE JOB LATER THEN SAID THEY COULD START AND THEN THEY DID NOT COMPLETE THE JOB UNTIL 8 WEEKS LATER. OFTEN, THEY DID NOT SHOW UP AND WHEN WE ASKED WHERE THEY WERE WE WERE TOLD THAT THEY WERE FINISHING ANOTHER JOB AND IT WOULD ONLY TAKE 2-3 DAYS TO FINISH THE OTHER JOB. THE WORKED THEY PERFORMED WAS GOOD, THE PROBLEM WAS GETTING THEM TO SHOW UP.
